Absolute Luxury

The theme: modern full-size luxury saloons. Because the Sport Luxury division is too focused on sport and not enough on opulent showboating.

Why is this a good theme? Racing overweight cars that were never designed for the track and seeing them scrap paint shoulder to shoulder is pretty fun.

Economy 101

The theme: economy car through a variety of era. Made to be cheap, reliable, and for the people. A mix of compacts and sedans, mostly from Europe but not only.

Why is this a good theme? Because racing doesn’t have to break the bank, and because you don’t have to be very fast to have fun, technical racing.

Unamerican Muscle

The theme: muscle and pony cars from outside the US. These cars must be sport or grand tourer coupe, two-door, RWD, front-engine, with the aggressive and boxy look of classic US muscle and pony cars, and of course the biggest engine available.

Why is this a good theme? The game already contains a few examples of non-US muscle and pony cars, the Aston Martin DBS 67, Toyota Celica, Skyline ‘71 and ‘73, or Holden Monaro. So let’s have more.

Super Wagons

The theme: wagons, estates, and shooting brakes. The more family-oriented pendant to the sport saloon.

Why is this a good theme? Super saloons are fun. Now imagine you had a super saloon, but you could carry more luggage with it.

A-minus

The theme: A-segment cars and smaller. Different from hot hatches in that they’re smaller and not necessarily “hot”.

Why is this a good theme? They may be short on power, but the short wheelbase and nimbleness makes these quite fun to race around.

Formula 50s

The theme: Formula One cars from the 1950s. The missing link between The Birth of GP and Formula 60s.

Why is this a good theme? The better question is why are the 50s missing from Grand Prix/Formula One racing?
