Having retired from international competitions after the 2017 season, Porsche on 11 April 2018 revealed an evolution of the 919 Hybrid that was not intended for competition, and not limited by rules and reliability for endurance racing. It looks like absurd, like in older movies where they playback footage faster to simulate cars going fast, except here it’s just the actual speed of the car. And when I see how the head of the driver moves in the corner… I mean, I can barely process what’s happening on a fixed camera.

It just looks unreal, both the car and the driver managing to keep up with it! The reactions, the commitment, the tungsten spherical objects between the legs…
Kudos to Porsche for making this, letting the engineers push the limits! To the driver I don’t know what to give, my first born?
