CARS

New exclusive cars joining the roster as Festival Playlist rewards:

  • 2022 Dodge Challenger SRT Super Stock
  • 1995 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R

And remember to check the in-game Horizon Backstage menu each week: community voting will determine the pair of cars to be added to the Backstage Shop with the next season change!

CINEMATIC START SCREEN SELECTION

Available from January 28, players will be able to select their favorite Start Screen video from a curated list of favorites. Your selected cinematic will replace the traditional “Welcome to Mexico” default screen every time you boot the game. If you can’t choose your favorite (we know how difficult it must be), there will also be a Shuffle option available which will automatically choose a different video every time you start the game.

Players will be able to choose the following cinematics:

  • Welcome To Mexico (Standard)
  • Welcome to Colorado (FH1)
  • Welcome to Europe (FH2)
  • Welcome to Australia (FH3)
  • Welcome to the UK (FH4)
  • Italian Automotive
  • Horizon Retrowave

EVOLVING WORLD: Neon Lights, Drone Show, Extended Nights

  • Buckle up and start your engines to race underneath the neon lights decorating racing events this series.
  • Aeródromo en la Selva becomes shrouded in lights once more as neon decorations and the Drone Show from Midnights at Horizons returns to this iconic location.
  • To enjoy the neon-lit scenery, the extended night cycles make a triumphant return as well!

COLLECTIBLE: Neon H and Neon Tank

If those features aren’t as bright for you, there’s still more coming. The Neon Tank Photo Decorations are coming back for Photo Challenges during the four weeks of Midnight Muscle. Travel to the Horizon Street Scene Outpost in week four to find and smash the Neon Cube Collectible!

That’s interesting, I didn’t expect Forza Horizon 5 to be left with basically no new content as early as in January. But it’s a good news for Forza Motorsport… and for hypothetic Forza Horizon 6

P.S. Kudos for the option to shuffle main menu cinematics! I was hoping someone at Playground Games will come with feature like this

I hope they are really making FH6.

Cool! This makes me excited for FH6! It’s clear they’re finishing up FH5.

I’m definitely going to use the shuffle option for the intros :+1:

This is all I’ve been able to find for the playlist. It seems the lucky few are missing the expansion screenshots

There’s a dude staring at a blank wall In Playa Azul.

Also this…

Because the dark ages weren’t long enough. Who asked for those anyway?

There you go. I think you’ve found Banksy

Maybe Banksy found me.

Thanks for posting these :+1:

I was hoping to see the 66 Nova and 68 Firebird at least for seasonal championships.

However the game wasn’t supposed to go on updating forever anyways and perpetual car additions weren’t going to be a thing anyways. FH4 had something over 750 cars, while FH5 thusfar has had nearing 900 cars. Although releasing the Extreme E car multiple times…

…to me as only the livery changed.

2021 This game began, and I expected this to come. Feels like seeing an old companion getting tired and finally giving up.

One more production mustang…Oh god!!! I hoped for the new drift mustangs from fm.:disappointed:

Completely agree. We have way too many road version Mustangs (esp. SVT Cobras). It’s a sad story that only one race car was added since Horizon Apex update. I hope that Horizon 6 can have more proper racers, since there is a race-car-focused Forza Motorsport, copy right should not be a big issue.

if this is the last new playlist ; guess that means we’re not getting these leaked cars

We already have a widebody Challenger, the Demon (along with wide body option for the Challenger Hellcat), why in the world would they add another almost identical car? Why not add the last 2023 Chrysler 300C with 392 Hemi, or a widebody Scat Pack or Hellcat Charger? I am disappointed… on the bright side, it’s about time we get the new game! Car list is most likely going to be the same as the last two games, with maybe 10 new cars…

Well maybe not. '95 Mustang SVT also appeared in FH4’s devs live show once (according to Forza Wiki) but never appeared in the actual game.

Then, why they’re saying there’s more content coming for FH5?
