Spring Season Festival Playlist (FH5 Midnight Muscle- S43)

Here are the details on this week’s events and rewards. Share tips along with your tuning setup codes.

SPRING | HOT SEASON

The season starts at 6:30am Pacific on February 20 and ends Thursday, February 27, 2025 2:30 PM
This is the fourth and closing season of the Midnight Muscle series.

PLAYLIST POINTS

Points are accumulated across all four seasons. Each event in the Festival Playlist has a number of points to earn noted in the bottom left corner of the event tile. Accumulate points with any combination of completed events to earn the first reward car, and continue earning points from remaining events to earn the second reward car. Cars noted as Seasonal Exclusive are not available in the Autoshow, so grab them while you can! But don’t worry if you miss them, these cars may come back again for future Festival Playlists, or you can use a Backstage Pass to select from the available options.

SEASON EVENT DETAILS

Toggle the menu to show the rewards and restrictions for each event - if you complete the event in a car outside the restrictions or fail to meet the target, you won’t get the reward and points from completion. You must have unlocked the Hall of Fame with Accolade points to enter the Trial. Access to Rally Adventure events require defeating the three team champions. Access to Hot Wheels events requires the Hot Wheels Expansion DLC; users without the DLC will still be able to gold the season and unlock the “Min, Meet Max” Achievement without these event points.

MONTHLY RIVALS

The total point value of Monthly events is divided by four when applied to individual seasons; completing these events will apply up to 2 points applied to each season in this series. Post a clean lap to complete Rivals events. Cars are stock and provided as free rentals for the event. This month’s Rivals offer an opportunity to drive the new Dodge Challenger and Ford Mustang before collecting them for your garage.

The Aston is just there as a benchmark as it was what I had on the board before I started, anything above it = good, below it = not so, the '03 needs changing to Offroad tires so power-weight isn’t great, Lariat has no top speed and fatty is just plain bad, even Atelieze themselves has this in the description for their tune…

Ended up at #28 with Zip’s tune for the EV, was originally made for a Rivals week we did on Copper CC (as were the others) but by pure chance it’s perfect for Granjas.

If you use MC then Zip has a separate '11 Raptor tune available that will be quicker than the auto one I tried, extra power with having not to install the clutch upgrades.

Stunts will be very simple, that Mustang can’t fit Offroads into C class so just a very straightforward AWD swap then focus on power with the stock tires.

D Pontiac…ugh, same as above for the '77 and '87 or go with the GTO if you’re ok with RWD, it’s decent with a balanced build or for the brave/highly skilled players can do a powerbuild.

Easiest solution for S1 Modern Muscle doesn’t really need explaining beyond one word + 2 letters, Viper AE, the Camaro ZL1 with SulexPagMan’s tune is the next best choice I can think of off the top of my head.

I played with a tune I quickly built for the Lariat but it just didn’t have the top speed to catch the AI on unbeatable. I also started a build for the Raptor '17. Got it down to 2:27.181 in the Rivals (personal best in B-class on La Granjas). I might play with it some. If I can get it so I can do it in 2:25 or less, I will probably go with that. If not, I might go with Zip’s EV tune (it was pretty good when I tried it).

I’m guessing there will be a lot of B607 2022 F-150 Lightnings driven in the Trial as it is the only stock B F150 in the Autoshow.

Well I “tried” to follow you round on your rivals run, amazing times,some very interesting lines. Best I can do is 2.20 with the Raptor 11, that last jump is a killer for momentum.

There are a couple of races with jumps that just kill all momentum and, even worse, send you going in another direction if you happen to land just right/wrong.

Got to about 2:22 in the EV (if I remember correctly) and I probably wouldn’t see Gilles for more than a turn or two.

useful, two reward cars that are on my “wanted” list

still annoyed about the Lancia Delta S4, the voters getting it wrong (*) and it being removed from the Italian Automotive playlist

(*) as Winston Churchill almost certainly never said, “The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter.”

I just added it to my post but there was one I forgot about until this morning, the Deberti Pre-Runner.

It can’t fit an AWD swap into B class even with all downgrades added after so I just ran it stock, 2:24.878 and it’s 250k in the autoshow, so happily there is a reasonable stock option, the Lightning only does 110.8mph at default settings :joy:

It’s been so long that I’ve forgotten but if it was given as a gift after the milestone was reached in it’s respective series all players should also have the Raptor R as a stock option.

I ran it stock right under 2:40 (about 21 seconds slower than my fastest time in the EV). It will be easier on the turns for the newer players but I predict many driving it will get a DNF if they have an experienced teammate in a tuned F150.

Welcome to the forums. You will get better results if you post in the correct part of the forums. This thread is specifically for discussion about the upcoming Festival playlist. There is a separate section for posting about auctions. Auctions are the best way to get one as they are not available in the autoshow. Also, people cannot gift you one or sell one directly to you. So even if someone wants to sell one to you, they have to do so through the auction house which means there is a good chance that someone else will buy it first.

I was buzzing around Las Granjas yesterday in Zip’s EV Lightning tune and testing a tune I was building myself. The goal was to either get my tune tweaked so I could do it in under 2:20 or beat Chea’s time of 2:18.1.

My tune just didn’t have the top speed to get better than 2:22.5. I might share it as some people will do worse with the top speed on these sliding corners.

This morning, I gave Zip’s tune another go. Following Chea and at the end I noticed his landing off the big jump was in a better spot. I realized that he had also been doing Rivals laps and improved his time to 2:14.601. So while I didn’t beat Chea this morning, with a 2:17.104 lap, I did beat the time that I had been chasing yesterday.

I’m still almost 8.5 seconds behind GillesMuller.

I do like the line that Chea and others take through the solar panel farm. Going through a row on the left gives a much better line to the next checkpoint than going directly through the main gate.

That gives some good pointers in how I might be able to shave some time off my lap. I liked how you applied brakes to clip the inside flags on the gates. I need to do that some more rather than just decreasing power to slow down.

The problem is the Trial is NOT the same as doing a clean lap in rivals. No way can you get your lines in the first 10% unless you are at the front and get past the AI quickly. And even if you do run a great race, invariably most teammates in CC races will be using too much power and sliding outside the gates throughout the entire race unless they go against the inclination to grab power tunes.

Did three attempts using Zip’s EV Lightning tune on Ribera Rocosa in B-Class rivals. I am quite impressed with the tune. I think my personal best clean lap was 2:01 before that.

Inspired me to do the same (it helps I’m a fan of that course) and can confirm the F150 platinum with that tune is very handy indeed. I made plenty of mistakes but the car just carries on going, when you think you must be near the top speed you aren’t, it just zooms along.

With new updates coming to an end, it looks to me like the main source of enjoyment in the game will come from playing Rivals with tunes from the Trial.

The B-class F150 has gotten me to actually put up some times in B-class CC rivals events that I hadn’t actually done yet.
