Without trying to sound like a language pedant, there is a difference between “more content” and “new content.”
There will be future updates but it seems that they will be re-runs of previous playlists decided by player vote. It’s not like there will suddenly be no more playlist as with FH4.

Quite. Or in other words, I enjoy both racing cars and road cars. 
I love to see some fancy road cars (except those road cars that have very minor differences), but, hey, it’s cool to see more racers. It’s another experience.
Since this is a video game, we don’t have to worry about our driving licenses being taken away, so, why not try more non-roadlegal stuffs?
“more” doesn’t necessarily mean “new” from what I’m thinking

I knew I should not have entrusted my faith of muscle cars to the Brits. Love ya guys, but this fell short - I dont know if that the game coming to an end has me over-anticipating or not, buuuut… I feel cheated lol
Tbh the grind is not that bad. You should play The Crew Motorfest to see real grind. You won’t win items unless you’re in the top 10% and you need to use legendary bonus boosting points for it (nitro refill, drift multiplier etc).

I does very much seem that these are probably the last two cars to be added to FH5. The fact that the current playlist only had one new addition, the Live streams have gone, the car pack is now fully available and the playlist is going to rotate to old ones going forward seems to reinforce this.
I remember the live streams on FH4 went all the way to the last addition which I think was the Jeep Gladiator and then there was only about 4 months I think of replayed playlists before FH5. I think FH6 is probably more than 6 months away which means this has as others have said gone out with a whimper.

The last car, if I remember correctly was the Vuhl and the playlists just went on a running loop. They picked a start point and followed the previous update progression from there
They did reset a couple of times before they finally went but there was a point where I had about 9 months of FH4 videos pre-recorded because they were already in the game files
FH5 is doing the voting thing so that likely wont happen here

We’re almost the same then…i play horizon as acc on keyboard…do you do as well?
This was a pretty common request from both Horizon’s Reddit and YouTube communities, which tend to be younger. The only place where I’ve seen people upset with it is on here, which tends to be where the older members of the community talk.
I’m definitely one of the younger members on here being in my mid twenties, and I wanted longer nights as well because nights previously only lasted less then ten minutes. And I have glaucoma, so I’ve got an eye alignment too, and I don’t have any issues seeing with the longer nights. If anything, nights in Horizon are still too bright to be realistic, even in an area with no light pollution.

I play it with my controller. I enjoy freerom times.
I agree on the night being too bright in the unlit areas. It’s more like a prolonged twilight but this would be the second extension to the dark period.
Since the game will very soon reach its true EOL stage, it won’t probably bother me too much, as I think I had my fill. I’ll return for the two new cars, but beyond that, unlikely.
Besides, my game library backlog needed some attention anyways, so it’s cool.

I’ve never had any FOMO in a Horizon game, especially in FH5 where they’ve made it as easy as possible to unlock the new reward car of the season.
It takes 15 minutes to earn 20 points and you have a week to do it.
It’s far from the predatory practices you find in most live service games.
Earning cars is as frictionless as possible. I guess some want every car automatically added to their garage but that’s boring for players that enjoy earning and engaging with the Festival Playlists.
