Voting list - Forza Motorsport 7/6/5 cars to be added to FH5 [Update_2023/7/21: +8 cars, +582 votes]

Since PGG likes adding recycled cars in updates for FH5, we could see more cars that were available in modern Forza Motorsport games but are still waiting to be (re)introduced in the Forza Horizon series.

In a fashion similar to my other thread with cars from FH3 & FH4, I’ve decided to list cars from Forza Motorsport with links to appropriate threads within the Suggestions Hub and with vote counts - so that PGG (and we) could clearly see what easily portable (I guess) cars would be the most welcome by the community.

The list contains cars from Forza Motorsport 5, 6, and 7, as well as AutoVista models from FM4 (which don’t require too extensive graphical upgrade and have prepared ForzaVista features already). Some of them could appear in FH1 and/or FH2 but were not seen in any open world game ever since. I’ve limited choice to road legal vehicles and two vintage race cars similar to those we have currently in FH5.

Like before, the list will be updated on a regular basis (but rather not daily, since now I have two tables to maintain… and I’m already thinking about the third, with missing cars from FM4, FH1, and older games  ).

Additional notes:

  • I’ve excluded models from Rolls-Royce, i.e. brand absent due to licensing issues, so voting has no effect on their presence in the game.
  • I’ve excluded cars in variants very similar to those already featured in FH5 (2019 Hyundai Veloster Turbo, 1990 Mazda MX-5 Miata).
  • I’ve put a question mark by numbers where one voting is connected to more than one car featured in Forza, e.g. 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 (sharing thread with 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat) or 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 (with the same thread for 2015 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 as well).

I forgot that they put the 323ti in fm7 :skull::skull:

Gumpert Apollo s and Mercedes Mclaren SLR

Time for the first update of the list. As expected, majority of cars saw growth in vote count in various degree, clearly showing which models are your favorites (some surprised me - positively of course).

Just see for yourself - on the list above or in the changelog below

Changelog

MB SLR McLaren +2, Gumpert Apollo +1, RUF CTR +4, Infiniti G35 +2, Dodge SRT4 +4, Pontiac Firebird '02 +1, Chevrolet Camaro '02 +2, Nissan Juke +2, Porsche 911 Turbo '93 +5, Honda Prelude +1, Volvo XC90 +1, Honda Odyssey +2, Chevrolet Camaro '12 +1, RUF CTR2 +2, Ford Shelby GT500 '07 +1, Dodge Challenger '12 +2, Audi Q7 +2, Pontiac Solstice +2, BMW 323ti +1, Plymouth GTX +1, BMW M6 +1, Ford Country +3, Nissan Safari +1, Subaru 360 +2, Ford Fairlane +3, Maserati Ghibli '97 +2, Audi S4 '13 +1, Lincoln +2, VW Scirocco +4, Holden Monaro +1, Mercedes ML 63 +2, Nissan IDx +1, Audi S4 '04 +2, Kia cee’d +1, BMW 328 +3, Mercedes C32 +2, Porsche 904 +2, VW Rabbit +2, Porsche 924 +1, Audi S3 +1, Dodge Coronet +3, Jeep Cherokee +1, Nissan R380 +1, RUF Rt 12 +2, Ferrari 166 +4, Honda Civic '86 +3, Exomotive +1

The third list (with missing cars from FM4, FH1, and perhaps older games as well) is coming together, but it will be a bit more complicated than previous two so I need some more time to complete it

Today’s update is kinda odd. On one hand, not many cars were upvoted in the last three days (since the previous update). On the other, some cars (especially SLR McLaren and Dodge SRT-4) gained much more votes than before. However, in general this is rather small update.

Changelog

MB SLR McLaren +7, Gumpert Apollo +4, RUF CTR +1, Infiniti G35 +1, Dodge SRT4 +6, Chevrolet Camaro '02 +1, Chevrolet Camaro '12 +1, RUF CTR2 +2, Plymouth GTX +1, Nissan Safari +1, Scion tC +1, Dodge Coronet +1, RUF Rt 12 +1

With previous update the entire list had only 28 votes added. However, in the last three days Mercedes SLR McLaren alone gained nearly the same amount of points and now it has more than 1000 votes. It’s only the second car in the whole Suggestions Hub to achieve this milestone AFAIK (the first being the unbelievable Nissan Tsuru, obviously  ).

Just like with yesterday’s update of the other list, this growth is certainly connected to the in-game message about the Suggestions Hub that all FH5 players received recently. That’s good thing if you ask me.

Anyway, with 112 additional votes in total, there is more interesting changes to the list. See for yourself in the first post or via the changelog below

Changelog

MB SLR McLaren +25, Gumpert Apollo +4, RUF CTR +4, Infiniti G35 +5, Dodge SRT-4 +13, Subaru Legacy +4, Pontiac Firebird '02 +5, Chevrolet Camaro '02 +2, Nissan Juke +2, Honda Prelude +4, Volvo XC90 +4, Chevrolet Camaro '12 +3, RUF CTR2 +1, Ford Shelby GT500 '07 +2, Dodge Challenger '12 +1, Audi Q7 +1, Pontiac Solstice +6, Pontiac G8 +3, BMW 323ti +1, Pontiac Firebird '69 +6, Subaru 360 +1, Ford Fairlane +1, Vauxhall Astra +1, Honda Civic '14 +2, Mercedes ML63 +1, Mercedes C32 +1, Porsche 904 +1, VW Rabbit +1, Porsche 924 +1, Ferrari 612 +1, Audi S3 +1, Eagle Talon +1, RUF Rt12 +1, Nissan R380 +1, Honda Civic '86 +1

And the third list (with cars from FM4, FH1 and older titles) is on track to be published before the end of the week

We have another interesting update today

  • Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren is well beyond the 1000 votes mark already but it’s not stopping.
  • Gumpert Apollo keeps going at high velocity too, quickly approaching the 500 votes milestone.
  • Both Pontiac Firebird '12 and Subaru Legacy '05 climbed up rapidly, exceeding 150 votes (they gained 12 and 11 points respectively since the last update).
  • Porsche 911 Turbo S Leichtbau joined the 100+ club (+6 votes).

And I’ve added two cars from FM6 to the list: Chryslus Rocket and Caparo T1. Please let me know if there are more missing models

Changelog

MB SLR McLaren +26, Gumpert Apollo +8, RUF CTR +3, Infiniti G35 +1, Dodge SRT-4 ACR +8, Pontiac Firebird '02 +12, Subaru Legacy '05 +11, Chevrolet Camaro '02 +4, Dodge Charger '12 +2, Porsche 911 Turbo '93 +6, Nissan Juke +1, Honda Prelude +2, Volvo XC90 +1, Honda Odyssey +3, RUF CTR2 +2, Pontiac Solstice '09 +2, Dodge Challenger '12 +2, Pontiac G8 +2, Pontiac Firebird '69 +6, Bugatti Veyron +1, Plymouth GTX +1, BMW M6 +1, Nissan Safari +3, Honda Civic Si '14 +3, Audi S4 '13 +1, Lincoln Continental '17 +1, VW Scirocco '88 +1, Hyundai Veloster +2, Mercedes ML63 +1, Peugeot 308 +1, Holden HSV W429 +1, Ferrari 612 +1, Dodge Shelby Omni +1, RUF Rt 12 S +1, Honda Civic '86 +1, Range Rover '12 +1

And last but not least - yesterday I published the third list, with missing cars from Forza Horizon 1 and Motorsport 3-4 that could return in FH5

Eleven days without an update is too much, time to take care of it

  • You’re still proving your love for Dodge SRT-4 and Infiniti G35, they’re two of the most upvoted cars since the last update, excluding Mercedes SLR McLaren and Gumpert Apollo obviously (but those cars play in entirely different league).
  • 2012 Dodge Challenger overtook the Pontiac Solstice.
  • Not many drastic changes beyond that.
Changelog

One more missing (and highly wishlisted) car was added to the list: 2005 Pontiac Aztek (213 votes). Why didn’t you tell me I forgot about a dream car like this? :stuck_out_tongue:

Today we have a rare opportunity to remove a car from this list. I’m obviously referring to 1985 Nissan Safari Turbo which is finally coming to Forza Horizon 5 with the Series 18 update. My counter for this car stopped at 45 votes.

welp, with the new expansion i guess we can expect some off-road-rally-suvs for the next update (past the one that was revealed)

2005 Subaru Legacy B4 2.0 GT 162 (+2) (traffic car, just like galant that was recently added)
2014 Nissan Juke Nismo RS 100 (+2) not a fan of the juke, but would be a fun recycle

2009 Audi Q7 V12 TDI 65 (+3)
2009 Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG 32
2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 17 (probably not)
2012 Land Rover Range Rover Supercharged 14 (probably not)

It’s nearly two months since the last update… Sorry, I got distracted by other stuff.

Notable changes:

  • 2007 Shelby GT500 has lost its own thread so now it’s accounted by general thread for 5th generation Ford Mustang (2005-2014) and therefore it jumped from 77 to 209 votes.
  • Analogical thing happened to the 1967 Dodge Coronet WO23 (in this case change is minor, from 24 to 33 votes), as well as the 2015 Ford Mustang GT (12 → 40 votes).

10 most upvoted cars since the last upadte (only cars with 30+ votes):

  • +27.10% - Honda Prelude (107 → 136 votes)
  • +25.00% - Holden HSV W428 (32 → 40 votes)
  • +22.22% - Caparo T1 (45 → 55 votes)
  • +20.00% - Spyker C8 (35 → 42 votes)
  • +19.51% - Vauxhall Astra (41 → 49 votes)
  • +18.75% - Mercedes ML 63 (32 → 38 votes)
  • +16.90% - Pontiac Firebird '69 (71 → 83 votes)
  • +15.48% - Chevrolet Camaro '12 (84 → 97 votes)
  • +13.98% - Volvo XC90 (93 → 106 votes)
  • +12.31% - Audi Q7 (65 → 73 votes)

Since Forza Horizon 5 was getting only #NewToForza cars recently, there was no reason to update this list very frequently… but let’s say that after two months it should be finally done

I see increased activity in the Suggestions Hub as of late (certainly the result of “advertising” it on Twitter) so some cars have big gains in votes.

13 most upvoted cars since the last upadte (only cars starting with 30+ votes):

  • +52.4% - Dodge Charger '12
  • +47.1% - Holden Monaro '68
  • +40.7% - Ford Shelby GT500 '07
  • +40.0% - Holden HSV W427
  • +38.3% - Chevrolet Camaro '02
  • +37.1% - Chevrolet Camaro '12
  • +34.7% - Vauxhall Astra '06
  • +31.8% - Subaru 370
  • +30.8% - Pontiac Firebird '02
  • +27.5% - Bugatti Veyron
  • +26.2% - Dodge Challenger '12
  • +25.9% - Gumpert Apollo
  • +25.6% - Mercedes SLR McLaren

And on the final note: when Forza Motorsport releases, I’ll think about adding cars from it to this thread - but first we need to wait until its car list is complete

Another list where I can finally add missing Stellantis brands… or at least Abarth and Alfa Romeo, as they are the only ones with models not featured in Forza Horizon yet. There are 8 such cars:

  • 103 votes - 1986 Alfa Romeo GTV-6
  • 89 votes - 2013 Abarth Punto SuperSport
  • 85 votes - 2011 Alfa Romeo Giulietta QV
  • 84 votes - 1970 Alfa Romeo Montreal
  • 60 votes - 1990 Alfa Romeo SZ Sprint Zagato
  • 54 votes - 1986 Alfa Romeo Spider QV
  • 43 votes - 1958 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Veloce
  • 28 votes - 1932 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Spider

I really hope Playground Games is going to surprise us with some of these cars in the Series 24 update for Forza Horizon 5 in August (especially with Alfa Romeo Montreal  ), they’d fit open-world perfectly.

As for other changes on the list, not much happened in the last month. It seems that Suggestions Hub could use another reminder in the game or on Twitter to boost activity here

You could also possibly add the 1950 Alfa Romeo 158 to this list since Playground has never been shy about adding vintage F1 cars in Horizon.

I was thinking about it but in fact Forza Horizon has no post-war F1 cars, only vintage Le Mans racers (and other “road racing” vehicles). 1952 Ferrari 375 or 1957 Maserati 250F are missing as well, not to mention newer models

However, I agree that they could be just as good (or bad, depending on who you ask) choice for Forza Horizon as Auto Union Type D or Mercedes W154

My mullet is flapping in anticipation for this one, and I hope they let us take off the t-tops like you can put down the 'vert tops.
