I’m almost 100% positive this “problem” happened so you guys would buy motorsport 6 bc it just started happening right when motorsport 6 came out. Apple did this same thing released an update to slowdown everyone’s iphone 4 so they bought the iPhone 5 at the time. So I think this was 100% intentional which explains why they aren’t doing anything about it.
But my xbox says data can’t sync with cloud error (8083201d) please help having this problem since 6 of June
First of all: a big shout-out to T10/Microsoft for keeping complete radio silence about a problem that for 99% of people only happen with one specific game.
here’s the situation.
00.30 AM: Loaded up Horizon 2
1.30 AM: waiting for it to sync.
fell asleep
11.40 AM: turned on TV to find it STILL SYNCHING,
About to throw my Xbox one into Microsoft HQ, ever since the last preview update the whole console just took a nosedive back into 1997 as far as speed and reliability are concerned.

PLEASE READ. I had this problem yesterday and my brother found a solution that worked instantly. Open the game, then when its trying to sync the save data go to your xbox settings (leaving the game open) and go offline, then quit the game and do a hard reset. First time i tried this it just synced instantly.
Same problem here, no matter what I do, the data won’t sync, broken game even after so many updates.

I Relaunched the game after having some issues signing into a different account to mess with my club stuff, its asked to sync data, it took about 5 seconds and deleted my entire save. Im waiting on a response from the email that was in the sticky of this forum, really crappy.

Hi I’m having a lot of the same problems!! I spent 1hr and a half on the phone to an Xbox employee to help sort this and all Xbox could do is help with the steps a lot of people have taken on here I’m haven’t this problem with Horizon 2 and Forza 5 and I can’t get on them at all anymore and in no way will I be buying Forza 6 if I’m still going to have this problem now!! I used to play the games most week on and offline with friends and I used to get all the DLC packs becouse I thought they where great games but right now reading on here with no one from Forza or turn 10 willing to help then that’s just not good enough and I’m very sorry to say that… But someone please help us get back on track with these games
After getting a new box one after my old one broke I tried to reinstall my forza horizon 2 with all the DLC and it worked. But when I tried to re sync data it said that it had done 100% and started a new game all over again. This is really annoying due to the fact that I had almost every car in the game fully customised with all the races completed 100%, all storm island 100% and its all gone. If anyone has any suggestions of what I should do please help.

Xbox support told me after the 5th agent there is no way to get your save back if it starting you at the beginning again… theres no backups… Absolutely gutted about it… Stupid update 
I can’t believe I got fooled into buying this game for 360 and X1. I bought the ultimate edition, first I couldn’t tune a car without freezing (still can’t tune my BMW M4 w/o freezing) and now I can’t even play the game. Frustrating. Mines just sitting at 99% and has been for 4 hours now. Love how they shove all the DLC propoganda down my throat too. OH NOT TO MENTION ALL THE BS OFF ROAD RACES

I cant get my game to sync past 99%
Add me to the list of people stuck at 99%. I posted a new thread inquiring the file size of the save because I got a new console and thought the reason it was taking so long is the file was just that big. From 12% sync to 83% sync my phone showed 844mb of data used. I understand that problems happen but after doing some search here and other forums I was shocked as to how many people have had this sync issue or completely lost data since earlier this year and nothing but silence regarding the issue from Turn10.
It should be pretty easy to handle this on a case by case basis and at the very least look at someone’s Forza score to approximate their garage value for compensation. I’m fairly enraged about this issue and I couldn’t imagine being a person who chose to invest money into tokens and essentially being told “Sorry”.
i know what this is they are trying to force us to play that new forza 6 and they delet all your files . i give up on all forza games . i been dying to find some to help me make this great game idea i have
My progress in forza horizon 2 has reset for some reason i had loads of cars and now i only have 3. Hadnt played for a few months but tried to play a few days ago failed to synch cloud save and all my cars, progress and credits gone. You can see by my achievements. Tried redownloading my cloud save but no fix. Anyone found a solution or been able to contact Turn 10 directly

Happened to me today. This is the Horizons 2 is the only game I have for Xbox One and the only reason that I bought the system (was going to buy motorsports 6 later). After a long sync that i’ve never seen before… Ive lost everything. The game treats me as if it is my first time playing. In game hub I can still see all my stats in achievements, so maybe there is still hope?
Is there anyway to contact support?
