For the past 2 days my game has been stuck on the syncing data screen, contacted xbox, everything they said hasnt helped, anyone else have this issue??

Detail what steps you’ve taken so far and we may be able to suggest something else?
Uninstalling and reinstalling the game, clearing cache, deleting and re-adding my profile, power cycle, factory reset. Pretty much everything.

Are you connecting wired or wirelessly?
For the past two days, my game has been doing the same exact thing. I have tried a hard reset on my xbox one, cleared the cache, and other steps from microsoft. I am currently unistalling the game and reinstalling it to see if that works, if not i dont know how i am going to play one of my favorite games… SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

When i start up the game and hit A to load it, it says syncing data for forza horizon 2 with no percentage and then it locks up my game and the black bar with the message saying syncing data for horizon 2 stays on my dashboard and i have to unplug my xbox to get it to go away.
Can someone please help with this issue as it is very aggravating andI am not able to play my game!!!
I have done power cycling many times, uninstalled my game and reinstalled it… did the same with my profile, already did all the steps microsoft has you do and nothing is working. Can not play one of my favorite games.
I have the EXACT same problem, it’s really annoying! Mine started to do this yesterday, hard reset mine console countless time but still nothing works, if anyone has any info on how to sort thing out then please help!
If all this fails maybe delete your local game saves, you will have to re sync all the data from the cloud for all your other games aswell is the only problem. I got stuck on the loading screen once with a sync error message. After hard restarting the console and uninstalling the game it still did not work. So I had to delete my local game saves. After 're installing the game a second time and re syncing with the cloud everything worked again properly.

I have done all of these steps as well and nothing is working. I mean nothing. I want to play this game, but the damn thing will not even sync and turn 10 is not even doing anything to help us as far as we all know.

This kinda ALMOST worked for me instead of it just freezing my consol it actually loaded my sync, BUT then restarted my console and it didnt work, but i went into my console settings and cleared my local save data, hopefully it work for you because it sure as heck did not for me lol
I got a new console today as the old one had disc drive trouble, Had the sync problem as well while everyother game was fine…
1st time i left it for 30 mins then cancelled as it wasnt doing anything.
2nd time same again.
3rd time i got a green bar which went up extremely slowly…it got to 100% then nothing happened had to cancel again after leaving it at 100% for 20 mins
4th time green bar went up a bit quicker and once it got to 100% it took another 5 mins but then the game finally worked.
Not sure why Forza does not sync properly compared to other games but you just need to perseverate.
Already tried that and it still isn’t working. It is just getting stuck on the syncing data screen… I don’t know what to do and getting a little upset.
How come NOONE will answer anybody?! There are a massive amount of people that are having the following problem on the xbox one.
When starting up the game, the game loads up and then goes to the screen that says, “Syncing Data for Forza Horizon 2, We Should Be Done Soon” Normally on every game you get this message but you get a percentage counter and a green bar and we are not getting nothing. It is getting stuck on this message and some of us like me it locks up my game and system. WE REALLY WANT THIS FIXED BECAUSE WE ARE NOT EVEN ABLE TO PLAY BECAUSE OF THIS. I have posted to different forums on here and none is answering us to help us get this issue fixed. PLEASE GET THIS FIXED SO WE CAN PLAY… I really want to play this game.

Problem I had was syncing after copying to my other xbox one. Same thing happening with progress bar and crashing. Only thing that sorted it was unplugging external which also had Forza Horizon 2 on it.
Worked first time.
I have the same problem. I had to restore factory defaults on my console so all my games were deleted. I redownloaded Horizon 2 but now it can’t sync the data. The progress bar freezes, then it actually disappears after a few minutes. But then the game stucks on the loading screen indefinitely.
For those of you having this problem, try setting up another profile on your Xbox One and see if you can play Horizon 2 on that. For some people that seems to be the only way to play at the minute. It’s gotta be worth a shot.
If you set up a new profile and start the game with that, you have to start the whole game over from the beginning. That’s not a solution when someone has countless hours in the game, Club, Friends, cars, championships etc.

I never said it was a solution. It’s just a way to let you at least play while you wait for a fix.
Actually, as it turned out yesterday, this whole thing worked. You just have to wait a ridiculous amount of time for it. I let the game on the loading screen and I waited about AN HOUR (yes, that much) because why not, and guess what? The syncing finally completed and I was loaded into the game. So I guess if you have the same problem then you just have to let the game there loading and wait. I sometimes moved the analogue stick on my controller so it didn’t get disconnected, but I don’t know if it has any effect on the process. Weird still, but eventually it worked.
