I am having troble syncing Forza Horizon 2 to my Cloud account. For some reason every time I try to sync it, it gets stuck in the sync mode saying “Syncing Data For Forza Horizon 2”, I’ve been waiting for hours and it still won’t sync to my Cloud. Can somebody please help me.
Same problem …i was at 80 something % when i fell asleep…that was about the fifth time id tried and given up thinking it wasnt doing anything…this morning after atleast 2 hrs I watched it sit at 99% and fail to make anymore progress…this was all after it said since it failed to sync my data i could play offline which i tried thinkn id finially finish the single player campaign mode but when it started out w/ having me choose my brightness settings and control style as if id never played before i figured i was screwed and shut it off expecting the next option to be starting a whole new game anyhow…level 900 was right around the corner w/ 999 off somewhere in the distant distant never to be seen horizon…my wife though seemingly sympathetic im sure couldnt be happier

I have reached out to Support only to not be replied to. I have reached out to some people on here for some “fixes” but those didn’t work for what the GAME BROKE when they UPDATED it.
This needs to be fixed ASAP.
Having the same issue but only im getting to 99% then it cuts off and says “INVALID PROFILE” “The Forza Horizon profile you are trying to load it no longer availible. Please delete it from Xbox Dashboard and create a new one”.
Now im new to xbox i started playing it after my brother left his xbox one at mine and i still have it but it wont be long before he takes it back and i was thinking about getting my own one soon. Started playing it back in september paid for a full years gold pass that started on a out the 5th of october. First game i played was gta then i bough forza LAST WEEK and i have almost finished it just had 2 more championships to complete then i got kicked from forza and keep getting this dam message. Tried all the fix’s i have found and non of them seem to work and i know im not alone with this problem but it started shortly after my game kept freezing just like all of yours has i hope it doesnt happen to yous but just a heads up that it might happen and T 10 still havent got a fix for it or replied to anyone else that i have seen saying they messaged them about it.
I have heard multiple reports of losing all saved data due to sync issues. I am a level 200 something and have over 200 cars. I really wish my game is not screwed and i have to restart. Anyone please help!
I tried and tried to get mine to load and it finally did. And once it did, my entire game save was blank like I had just started the game over. Lost over 35,000,000 in credits, level 197, over 300 cars, all gifted VIP cars, etc.
I really hope there’s a way T10 can revert to save games from the cloud. Kinda like how RockStar did with GTA 5 to combat the cheaters.

And it just happened to me as well, over level 170 over 250 cars and so many crazy tunes that took forever to get just right and over 8 million credits and 20 million in my garage, I’m so disappointed with the update and the erase of all my data. PLEASE tyrn10 fix this problem, I’m not looking to play the entire game over from start.

To reiterate what I’ve already posted elsewhere on the forum a few times. Unfortunately the sync process can on occasion take a long time to complete, please DO NOT INTERRUPT it as this runs the risk of losing your save data. Let it take however long it takes to fully sync.
What about the players who have lost their game save because of this? I’ve lost my game save and lost all progress.
I did not interrupt the sync. Still once it was ready, everything in the game was lost.
And we’re not talking about 15 cars or something here. I mean 250+ cars, worth over 55.000.000 in Credits. I had every board, finished almost every bucket list challenge, finished all races, had over 1000 head to head races, found all barn finds etc.
It was not my fault that the sync did not work and now the game save is corrupted so I have to start a new one. Earning all the credits for all the cars again, finding every board every barn find etc. again, is NOT an option.
I spent over 550 hours playing this game. Was over level 320+ and now all that I had earned in the game is gone.
You told me that the game save can’t be restored and you know what, I can understand that, you can’t do anything about that, BUT, I demand that my Credits are reimbursed in that way, that I can buy every car I had before, meaning you have to give me over 55.000.000 Credits. (Proof that I had that many cars can for example be found in my gallery, where I have many screenshots. Also, it would not be fair at all to let me search all the barn finds and boards again. So it would be more than appropriate of you to give me a free Full Treasure Map as well.
And to be honest, with all the trouble you made me and all the things lost in the game, as well as all the time you will cost me, because I have to rebuy and tune all the cars as well as find all the boards and barn finds again, gifting me the car pass or something similar would also be more than approriate. After all I spent more than 550 hours earning all the stuff in the game, which now, because of a sync mistake, which was not my fault, got deleted.
That is, besides restoring the old game save, the only thing you could do, that would be fair. So send me a PM and let’s solve this problem, so I can be a happy customer of Forza / Turn 10 again.

My issue on that front was the console itself turning off during. Having to babysit a machine for upwards of 8 hours for a sync seems a bit extreme.
I think Forza Stuff is just fair, giving us reimbursement of credits for a lost savegame. So guys keep going and write to them, it’s so easy. Nobody can undelete our savegames, but If you’ve got enough money you can overlook that

Hi, i have the same problem with my game too. ive contacted xbox support over 4 times to fix this only to be told after waiting all that time over a week to contact turn 10. i was over rank 175 with 132 cars in my garage. My garage value was 15 million and my credits earned were 7 million, with parts value being 3 million. ive now lost so many good tunes and designs because of this issue. can some one please email me at [Mod Edit - D] or Pm me to discuss a credit reimbursement thanks.

My level 270 and I have a 9 million credit and 200+ cars worth 20 million and 23 million tune parts = Total 50 million.

I just bought the XB1 Forza Motorsport console to play FM6 and have subsequently bought car packs, FM5 and car packs, and Horizon 2 and car packs. This is crazy.
I do notice that no one seems to post again after their initial post. I am hoping that there is a fix and no one has replied with it. I am also hoping that this is not a lost cause.

I have had this same issue. Just today when I went in to play the game it said “Syncing data for Forza Horizon 2”. It ran forever. It got up to 99% and then the XBox went to sleep. So I tried it again, standing by the XBox to keep it awake hoping it would finish. Still it never made it past 99%. Finally, it completed and I went back into the game to find that everything was gone! I had purchased the “Forza Horizon 2 Fast and Furious Car Pack”, “Forza Horizon 2 Duracell Car Pack”, “Pre-Order Car Pack”, AlpineStars car pack", “Furious 7 car pack”, “Mazda Mx-5 car pack”,Rockstar car pack, Top gear car pack, G-Shock car pack, Napa Chassis Car pack, Falken Tire Car pack, Mobil 1 car pack, Launch Bonus car pack, Vip car pack. I had also purchased the Porsche Expansion and Storm Island. I was level 180, with 1,000,000 credits and about to earn another 300,000 from Forza hub. My car pass is gone, and so is my VIP membership. I’ve spent a lot of time and $$ on this game.
Now I have 1 car (the 1998 Toyota Supra RZ), I’m back at Level 1 with 13,000 credits. In addition to that, it still shows that I’ve purchased all the car packs and expansions, but I can’t use them, or repurchase them. Basically, all is lost. I love this game and have spent countless hours playing it.
Please tell me there is some way to get this all back? If not, is there anything you can do to restore my car packs and other content that is missing and it will not let me repurchase?
Please, I’m desperate.
