I can’t play Forza Horizon 2… I’ve been stuck at Syncing data for almost an hour now talking to an Xbox Operator it’s not an issue on their end because all my other games are syncing just fine. Please help me because I would like to be able to drive my cars around and go drifting

Had the same issue. Solved by restarting the console (full restart via configuration app), and then it synced with no problem. Took 5 minutes or so.
Can’t help thinking that it is indeed a problem on their end, and the xbox support people just don’t care enough to help you. I’ve had it happen with several games, if a full restart doesn’t solve it, it was usually just time until xbox fixed the issue. Did they remove the option to play without syncing the data?

Very odd thing that just worked for me while having the same issue (Warning, this is kinda odd…) was waiting for it to sync, stuck at 99% then my cat walked on my desk and knocked my pad off which disconnected my pad. I turned my pad back on and was about to give up so I clicked back to the home screen and the screen on Horizon changed to saying my pad had been disconnected, I clicked back onto horizon and pressed A to confirm my pad was plugged in and it loaded up?
Is there anything we can do? I though it might be just me but it seems a little more widespread now.
Mine sits on 99%)for about 30 mins but does complete but I get the count down from 10 start menu…
I know its just a game but I cant be losing all the time I put into it…
