On Saturday 19th December I put my Xbox account onto a friends Xbox one so we could play games. Yesterday I went back onto my Xbox one and attempted to play Forza horizon 2. It took a very long time to sync, so long that Xbox turned its self off. I then tired to play Forza Motorsport 6 and the same problem occurred. I have contacted Xbox who tried to fix the issue, they are telling me it is a Forza problem and not theirs. They suggest I contact you hence this email. Can you suggest how this issue can be resolved.

I had the same issue this morning as it was the first time I have played since the recent Xbox update and it seems all my games have required syncing since. My game took ages to sync but it did eventually work after what I believe to be around three hours in total. All of my sava data was thankfully intact and it has not required another sync upon restarting the game (just as a test). I have the benefit of really fast internet (around 200mb d/l) and it still took this long to sync the save data. With that in mind all I can suggest is try starting the game up when you know you won’t need the Xbox for a while and just let it do its thing (make sure auto turn off functions are not active on the console). Hopefully it will eventually sync for you and you will have your game will be there.
My game would sync for about 4 hours before I turned it off, then I let it sync over night and all my data got erased even the dlcs I bought for the game. I better get a rufund or someone better fix my game, I’m extremely mad right now.
