I understand if peiole are having problems with the gamez but you don’t have to place it here, these is a forum for that, as mentioned in the latest WIR:
He is right . If we let them know the issues like no ai in private lobby drivatar behaivor etc they might fix it quick . Hell maybe they will release day one patch at october 3 .
Well not to be that guy but most of the discussion here is discussion about why people are disappointed, they are not looking for help here, they are discussing their frustrations with the launch of the game and as the PC launch has been a little challenging for some, this is the place to discuss changes over the long term, instead of short term changes on their end which are more suited to technical support.
Like Dust said, Axe to grind. People want to vent as there isn’t that much a lot of them can do but wait for patches atm.
Having said that, if you are struggling to get the game to run please do stop by the technical support thread because we are finding solutions to a lot of issues over there atm.
Exactly that…most arnt complaints…they are vents of dissapointment from passionate gamers who love their racing games. People on here are often more critical of the game than reviewers, some of which will never buy the game and have to be careful how the negatives come over incase they get in trouble. Here we are all free to voice our emotions.
I love Forza and the general play online with buddys thing. Sadly its my life so I analyse things, details, little things,. Comparisons are big for me…why should I feel great with a game that doesnt look as good as last years…or doesnt give me anywhere near the content I expect from a new game. We cant change it…but we can moan to make ourselves feel better…
People need to chill until a couple/few patches come out at least. People are way to heated!
I’m not sold on this homoligation thing and I hope they bring back class specific hoppers. Also the VIP system is disappointing but I can wait and see what developes.
Just relax and play what you have for now. I’m Having a good enough time at the moment. Is it perfect? No. It’s not like it’s unplayable though. You guys are gonna give yourself heart attacks stressing out about every little thing.
I think a lot of it is because T10 are a very beloved dev. It’s hard not to panic when a dev you’ve unconditionally followed for a decade starts to make decisions that don’t match your preference. I actually had one of my favourite Forza moments ever today in a GT Chevey at Spa, some good racing. I think once patched and with our feedback on some issues we’ll have a pretty cracking Forza on our hands.
It’s quite possible many others along with myself feel cheated to pay $100 to be the beta tester for a Triple A title video game. I think most just expected a great deal more.
Mate, to be completely frank, I think people’s complaints are well justified. Most of them paid $100 up front to get all the goods and got severely short-changed from what I can tell. One way or another, the developers must release multiple patches to resolve issues. A game should never be released with such a low level of quality assurance. If this happens in a CARS game, I can understand. But with T10/Ms’s budget, I’m not willing to cut them too much slack. They have the resources to get this done right the first time, but they didn’t.
Agreed. All the complaints about not wanting to “grind” is a bit dramatic. It’s a game, your suppose to grind a little bit. I’m not a huge fan of the new vip system but that hasn’t stopped me from reaching level 5 for cars and 2 mil in credits… Not bad for 8-10 hours. Enjoy the game, relax.
Wait. What? Why? It’s a racing game. You are supposed to race. There is no grinding implied at all.
If I buy FIFA I don’t expect to have to start out with access only to a few lower division clubs that I have to play with for a few seasons to unlock the teams I want to use (unless I get Brazil in a prize crate!). There is loads of progression stuff in FIFA with UT and random drops and all that casual jazz if people want to play that way, but if others want to they can just ignore it all and jump in to play Real Madrid versus Bayern Munich on day 1. If EA released a FIFA that locked everything behind their UT system they’d be rightly ridiculed, and it is just as absurd, unnecessary, and unwelcome in Forza.
Do you honestly think you would have an online free Xbox if we didn’t speak up? Tolerating it and being quiet is not what consumers need to do when what they buy is not up to par with the features they were expecting when laying down hard earned cash for a product.
LOL no, money is the only thing these companies are interested in. To change things they have to fear for their current and future profits and refunds are an obvious and well working way to do so. Especially since the only people playing right now are their most devoted fans, Ultimate Edition buyers. If they realise they screwed up with them, you better be damn sure they know they screwed up big time. They wholeheartedly deserve the ****storm they started on Twitter, Reddit, other places. And it is the only way things will change for the better.
They had 2 years (more if you include previous flawed versions still unfixed). It’s not about time, it’s about them trying to stuff the same crap down everyone’s throat and how that’s so at odds with their original mission statements. If the games works for you, that’s great, but an inability to see everyone’s issues as valid says a lot more about a lack of perspective than the state of this franchise.
Dude, it’s like 2 days into 4 days of early access that people paid MORE to get, but in reality are getting less than the guys with standard editions will get on Tuesday (presuming the day one patch is a real thing). How many people bought Ultimate over Deluxe just for the early access? What, do we just look at the game for four days? People are more frustrated because they’ve paid more and aren’t getting anything for the extra money.
