Okay, this caught my attention too. So they are playing a different looking game with maybe different sounding cars too?
The top speeds and acceleration is also wrong for many cars, so it’s “wrong” for only us?

If the tracks were fully complete we’d be seeing them every month imo, so that makes sense.
Was there mention of the builders cup content? That is continually coming and going, with no sight of staying permanently.

The ones we have are still not complete, there’s seams showing on most tracks, some more than others plus the sounds on certain tracks with surface changes is not correct
The seams stick out more if you are not running RT
Hard to tell with the compression used in streaming tho its clear as that they are running a better version with certain things that they can “turn off” for a smoother experience. That or they don’t like the flags and balloons like me, but I don’t have the luxury of turning off what bugs me

Can you post a screenshot/clip/timestamp since I’ve seen you mention balloons about a dozen times.
@4:50 and every other lap that is done, missing the 5 balloons and the red blimp on the first corner, missing the Heli at the entry to the main curved straight and the five balloons. And all the flags’ all on the spectator side of the track
Here’s the blimp, the other shots are not as clear as I just use my phone

If they’re in Featured Multiplayer (and they are, I saw a few familiar names in the lobby list) they’re on retail hardware and servers. Normally dev builds can’t connect to public builds due to version mismatching (I know this from my own work at EA).
Looking at the stream it looks like it might be console footage, seems similar to my Xbox Series X in look and feel.
Console will typically have various settings turned down (and locked) in order to hit 60fps more consistently, due to the hardware components not being as powerful as a high spec PC. Crowd and trackside density tends to be an easy win in terms of getting more frames, Ground Cover too.
For most games, console versions tend to go target the equivalent of High settings on PC, with some bespoke work also done when further optimisation is needed.

I’m running the game with most settings on low and imagine scaling at 85% tho running 4K
Only the track textures and Car models are on high
Looks similar to PCars 2 but I was getting 144FPS all day, not this 80FPS
I’d rather have more options to turn useless stuff like balloons, flags, Heli’s and Blimps off. Turn the crowd to low or off cause I really only focus on the track and the vehicles on it when racing and there’s a big difference in the sense of speed and control feedback from 60FPS to 144

Further investigation from one of the troops in the “Army of Testers” has concluded that the missing flags/balloons and other junk wasn’t there when trying out that 1st FOMO stuff with the Ford Capri or the likes.
So it’s not there when there’s FOMO you are forced to do but is in Freeplay, you are stuck with it, just thought I’d follow up considering how many times I had bought up the missing junk
And on a side note, those that think I’m here to bring doom and gloom on this Eighth installment you are Kinda correct… But… I’m forced to play the game with what’s been put in place by FOMO.
I as others are at the mercy of Turn10 with the this repugnant gaming style. There’s no Auction House for those that have a life and cannot for whatever reason play the game but are made to feel like they owe something to the game in the sake of obtaining that certain gift on some stupid time gated system that has completely forced the hand by removing any possibility of obtaining until TURN10 says so… Just PATHETIC Stuff.
Edit: On a side note this game has become my second most irritating program on my PC
NZXT Cam takes the #1 spot with their support team and overall ideas on how to fix the liquid cooling issues of their cam losing USB support in MS Windows…

I wish I could know everything that goes behind curtains. What were the reasons for the game be launched like this. The lack of content, details, graphics etc. never had a bad experience with a Forza title 
and I’ve played them all !

they would not hire such a charlatan.
All I know is I’m never buying a Forza product again. Never. I don’t care how good they market it as or how good it turns out to be. This was the last one. I’m going to invest my hard earned monies in a better product next time. That’s all there is to it.
