Maybe he’s too embarrassed to make a statement? This is not a dig on Chris Esaki but I can’t think of another reason why he would be hiding his face from the community.

FH5 has much better updates and they add new cars. New to Forza cars too, not just recycled.

Just because the updates to Forza Motorsport after release have been really small doesn’t mean that they’re bad. It might take several years (or more, at this rate), but I am hopeful that the game will eventually turn out decent!!
Your optimism is admirable, but you won’t convince people who’ve waited 6 years for a new Forza Motorsport on the understanding that it would be the best ever, that this will somehow eventually be that game, even with several years more development. Personally, I’m not prepared to wait that long. Life’s too short to wait on people who’ve only delivered false promises.

That gives me the impression that the game was not finished and rushed out.
I’d argue some of the promises were technically true, even if they were very misleading. For example, “from the ground up” was technically true, because we got new assets for the ground textures, even though the engine and bugs remained seemingly unchanged from the previous generation.
You can’t hold that against Chris Esaki though! He’s such a nice guy that I feel like we need to give him the benefit of the doubt for all the bugs, mistakes, and defeated expectations. Just give them a few years to hopefully fix everything, you’ll see!!
Is this sarcasm? He is literally the person to blame, he was the lead creative director, he was in charge of the direction of the game or lack thereof. He was the face of this game for upwards of 4 years, who has since all but disappeared after the game released and failed to make an impression other than negative.

Price on Steam has been cut by 50% again. This doesn’t seem right for a “successful game”.
Edit: After some thought this is likely a tactic to boost player count to show how well the update did.

I’m pissed off that I bought the game when the Nord dropped at full price for the standard 119.95 here and just weeks after it dropped 50% and now again!
Wasted 60 bucks, game isn’t even a year old and 3 sales, 30,50,50
