Awhile ago I recorded a saved replay of a race on spa. The first turn of the 1st lap this guy slams into everyone and I was hit so hard that my car catapulted 500 feet in the air and i was sent over the level barrier and I could not do anything the rest of the game because my car was stuck. It was kinda funny actually. I’m in the Ford GT and I recorded this from 4 different angles. I used upload studio on the xbox one, skydrive (onedrive) then uploaded to Youtube. That’s crazy. The Camaro definitely didn’t slow down but it doesn’t seem like that should have been enough to punt you out of the map. I suspect there is also a little bit of lag involved in this.
I’m not sure what’s more awesome - the fact that you got punted out of the map or the fact that reply recorded the whole thing! LOL
BTW - you would have never experienced this if you wouldn’t have taken that corner like my grandma driving her 1980’s Oldsmobile. I get that you need to slow down - but you didn’t need to slow down THAT much! LOL
I’m not the fastest by any means, but it seemed like a decent line,especially with brake line off (unless it’s always off in replays, which it probably is now that I think about it).
I probably would’ve had a better line and slowed down not as much if it weren’t for the guy in the Cadillac CTS-V that was coming in hot behind me. Also, the driving line is on.
he mustta been in a hurry to use the bathroom at the corner station since somebody stole his toilet. should never get between a man and his toilet, espically after a burito.
if you think fm5 wrecks are bad play fm3. cars didn’t ghost. they could go around the track opposite of traffic. it wasn’t uncommon for some jerk to decide if he couldn’t win nobody could and on the sunset oval the game would actually reset before you came back down.

and you didn’t brake any earlier than the merc and was probably the best way to go seeing as you had cars inside and the caddy didnt look like it was going to slow in time. thats good situational awareness.
people forget its like a 30mph corner…or just dgaf.
I saw this happen again on Yas marina and it seems to happen more frequently to cars that have longer front ends that swoop down towards the ground at a specific angle, cars like the Ford gt, zonda, etc.
