Trial opinions and feedback

Porsche Cup the worst ever?

Not in my book. That dubious honor belongs to the recent Caterham event. Every time I tried it, my team had at least 3 if not 4 members who appeared to have never driven this car before.

Fortunately, I already have multiple FE Caterhams, and have achieved over 80% for the week. At this point, there is a strong possibility that this will be the first week that I will not reach 100%. Oh well…

must of been lucky but I got through the Caterham event 1st go, now the RWd event is a different story.

yes. i cam dead last in that whole series. ai keep force into walls. beyond aggressive ai and the rubber banding.

so am not the only one noticing some bugs

Hi Guys, I’d like to report a bug. Some of the things you can do in this game are challenging. Can we get this fixed ASAP?

This week’s event has been absolutely killing my interest in the game. I don’t even want the car, I have the car. I just want the completion percent. But I think, in every attempt I’ve had of running the trial, only two other people have managed to beat even a single other drivatar.

It just… Where’s the fun is coming in first and losing over, and over, and over, and over? It’s completely demoralizing.

Look, nobody is demanding that their teammates MUST be perfect, and be able to defeat every CPU every time. But for crying out loud, if you can’t beat ONE, leave. Just leave. You’re a 600 point millstone around the neck of your entire team. I know, it sucks, you don’t get the prize, you don’t get the clear completion… Learn to drive and come back. In all honesty, beating at least ONE drivatar isn’t that hard. If you can do THAT, chances are your team will have a couple good people that’ll help even things out. It’s not MUCH, but it’s still useful.

Edit: Of course, as soon as I post this I finally have a team that’s mostly better than me. (I will admit, I’m not perfect, I average around 3rd place. But I was most frustrated coming in 1st place repeatedly when the rest of my team was at 0, was having a streak of that.)

Idk what makes you guys think that allowing the drivatars to be absolutely obnoxiously aggressive is a good idea, but it most definitely isn’t. These are getting out of hand. I race against unbeatables all the time in my solo ventures, but these take the cake. Never have I encountered so much ramming, teleporting, and just absolutely uncalled for behavior in a solo race. These trials are just ridiculous. I literally dominated this last race yet I came in 2nd?! There was a Drivatar sitting on a road just past the finish line for entirely too long. I know I passed everyone too cos I saw it on the map. That thing had to have teleported there. That’s the only explanation I have.

Devs. You’ve GOT to do something about this. This is just way out of hand.

Stop ramming them
They only become aggressive after someone on your team rams them

I just had one push me out away from a checkpoint. Knocked me off course 'n missed the checkpoint. Really?!

Can we get a “this week’s trial is the WORST EVER” sticky at the top of the page please

Maybe these guys having issues every single week should team up together in a convoy and do the trials

Disagree. Last weeks was far more challenging and the Drivatars far more aggressive.

Have done 6 Trials so far and won every one of them.

Found the best car to do this with is the Hoonigan RS2000. Stupidly i had two in the same class but with different tunes. I chose the wrong one for the first two trials and did have a bit of a time catching Drivatars and avoiding ramming team mates, but when i changed to the second car with a better tune i found i got to the front way more easily and came first in practically all races thereafter.

Will be going back on for a couple more runs at it soon, sounds like you got a bad run at it.

Won all three races by a long distance in the Hoonigan RS200. Team did ok in first two races and won 2-1. Pretty easy Trial this week.

This is getting to be too much. I love having the challenge of driving with other players against unbeatable drivatars, but these drivatars are WAY TOO AGGRESSIVE. Even doing co op races with maybe one play when then start a race gets out of hand with the drivatar aggressiveness. I can beat unbeatable drivatars myself without the glitches and aggressive driving. This need some serious fixing.

I do too. I either win them or at the very least come in 2nd. Every time. I’m just sick of the ridiculous knock around dished out by drivatars. That’s not how you race. The problem is that they allow online racing with invincible cars so people treat them as such. I feel that we should be forced to use simulation damage for online races. Then maybe people would learn to drive properly. There’s literally no consequence for foul play at all.

What about the real players? lol First try despite my horrible team. Just smashing into walls and each other. I don’t know how we won, I really don’t. Oddly the main person causing mayhem quit after we won the first 2. Sabotage?

Them too. It’s bad enough that they do it, but to have the ‘Ai’ doing the same thing is just a bit much.

I would rather pay for car packs than suffer through a trial like the one for the Apollo, 917 LH, and now. When I have to replay a trial 9+ times like last week it just makes me hate the game and the grind for cars locked behind online racing. You can finish 1st every race and still lose the trial if teammates finish last every race, what the heck.

9+ times? I reckon I wouldn’t waste that much time on it, the Apollo got close at 4 including the win, but 9 times seems a bit much.

The Apollo trial was asinine, and the Caterham was frustrating. This trials drivatars were overtly aggressive. I got pushed out of a checkpoint on the last race, and I witnessed them side checking team mates when they would pass them, not just rubbing, fully ramming. It has something to do with with how those players race against the AI? Right?

Find some friends to do it with and it’s even easier than what it is
