The Forza Garage

The Forza Garage is now open! At E3 2015 we pulled back the curtain on Forza Motorsport 6 for the first time, including revealing 117 of the more than 450 cars that will make up the Forza 6 car list.

Starting now and leading up to the release of Forza Motorsport 6 on Sept. 15, we’ll be revealing more details each week on the full car list for the game, including additional information on the new tracks being brought to the racing world as well.

Today’s Forza Garage announcement kicks off with a bang with the announcement of ten FIA Formula E cars making their debuts in Forza Motorsport 6. The original 2014 Renault Spark SRT_01E made its worldwide debut in Forza Motorsport 5 as a DLC car – this time, the entire field of the 2014/2015 FIA Formula E season will be represented for the first time in a console racing game.

Weekly reveals. Cool stuff!

Looks like its gonna be Wednesdays!

With all due respect, couldn’t Turn 10 just bring one car into the game with 10 different liveries? Because if I remember correctly, the current season for Formula E is a spec series, with all teams running the exact same car with the exact same or a very slightly different setup. Having 10 different cars that don’t have a performance advantage over each other makes absolutely no sense to me.

Wow. That didn’t take long.

Personally, I think this reveal is nuthin’ but nuthin’ but awesome. Electric cars confirmed, open-wheel cars confirmed, FIA partnership confirmed; good stuff.

Oh, and Jalpa is returning. Sweeeeeet.

I don’t mind the Formula E spark (car name) at all, it’s just confusing as to why they would include ten different versions of the same car when they can just include the liveries under one car. As for the FIA partnership, if that means we can get GRC cars (Ken Block Fiesta, anyone?) I’ll be happy.

RedBull GRC isn’t FIA sanctioned. It is sanctioned by USAC.

Please,no Ken Block,just no!!

Can’t wait to hear more about the classic lower class cars! Woo!

Whilst I undersatand that this takes some “spark” out of the 450 cars I applaud the move.

I like us having multiple cars.

Just making it one with a reskin may not change anything.

eg what if we had 440 cars with 1 electric racer with 10 paintjobs - is that any better?

Yes I understand 450 unique cars would be awesome.

EDIT: The one thing I do hope this points to is full fields of racing series and hopefully some that are not spec series.

EDIT 2: The other thing that MAY impact something like this is it may have been a deal - to include the cars you need to include the full field to advertise it better. (NOTE THIS IS SPECULATION)

I’m hoping the electric cars don’t stop there, I would like to see some production stuff in there too!

10 reskinned cars is poor form, hoping this isn’t going to be a theme.

I really hope your right Max I would love to see the standard Ghibli S

I like that Formula E is back but seriously taking up 10 spots of the 450 list is ridiculous. Not quite a fan of that move.

A generic un-liveried Renault Spark would have been a lot better for people to create their own stamp.

So the fact is that the Car List before DLC is 441 cars or 426 with the Team Forza duplicates.

Still to make it better as I said at least Formula E will be back for the second time, enjoyed the Renault Spark.

I agree as well with it seeming odd to do 10 of the same car with different liveries on each. We saw this with the Ford and Holden V8SCs on FM4. I would prefer 1 car with 10 different livery options. That said, I am excited to see a partnership with Formula E and the FIA. That is definitely a good sign for the franchise that they will be getting back on the focus of adding more racing cars. Since there is a partnership with Formula E now, it wouldn’t surprise me if we saw a track from the series make an appearance besides Long Beach. Keep it up T10!

I’d have preferred a race car body-in-white system where there’s one model and liveries are chosen from a list, but more race cars is good news to me.

I see the 2014 Maserati Ghibli S in the list. That was a F&F Edition car (upgraded) in FH2, so I’m guessing it’s not in the FM6 September F&F car pack.

The return of the Jalpa makes me jappy.

Also, the Plymouth GTX returns from FM4.

I dont know about you but im looking towards the f&f supra. That thing is insane and I’m betting money it will keep up with the ultimate aero and the bugatti SS

Neat, thanks for sharing this on the forum. Looking forward to more announcements soon

Really 10 spots for the same car with just a different design is actually so stupid, Could of just added one and had different liveries for the paint!

I was excited about 450 cars but since this isnt the first time duplicates will be in im guessing ill lower my expectations.
