I’m amazed by the number of cars listed that were on the list I compiled last week from Manteo Max’s lists using cars that were in FH2 that weren’t in FM6 yet.
Ok, no, that’s a lie, I’m not surprised by that at all.
Great additions to the game. I’m definitely pumped about all the V8SC stuff, but one car I am really excited about is the Maserati Ghibli Cup. That was one of my favorites on FM4 for some reason.
Damn, I’m too slow and have also provided a different answer than the resident expert.
We were at 412 last week. Not counting the Indycars that are just different paints, and not counting different paints on the same V8 SC they added 30 new cars this week. So we should be at about 442 now. So marching towards over 450 doesn’t leave a lot. I think they should exceed our expectation of 451 by a good bit if there is another announcement next week. Next week I would guess then will be the last one maybe? We should end up around 470 cars? Potentially 500 if they do another announcement on the week the game comes out for the early people.
Not a whole lot in this one for me, although it’s nice to have the V8s and more IndyCars. Still no Super GTs unfortunately, they’re the only thing missing off my wishlist.
One thought I have about the race cars is that releasing paints may become tricky due to all the duplicates. Hopefully the texture mapping for all variants of a car are the same (assuming there are no bodywork changes) so that a design can be quickly ported from one car to another.
They still certainly added some cool stuff. But there is a lot of easily predicted stuff on this week’s list with plenty of it left for the next two weeks.
Quoted from the other thread, bolded cars that actually got added this week.
I’ve added today’s full list to my spreadsheet at ManteoMax.com
For now I’m leaving the HSV as a Holden unless we find out it’s its own manufacturer. In a previous week I think a Civic was listed without a manufacturer, so I’m thinking it’s an oversight rather than separate make.
We saw the Altima listed last week but it wasn’t featured, and even though the Xbox livery V8 Supercar was listed in the August 12 reveal, I’ve included it here for the full V8 lineup.
Edit, from the lower list in the announcement:
I now count 451 cars before DLC (assuming the Hellcat is DLC. 473 including VIP and pre-order DLC cars), which would put us over the 450+ announced for release. However we’ve seen the AMG GT in the Achievements images and the new Ford Focus wasn’t in the reveals, so I would expect one more (minor) reveal, if they’re not included as part of the day one content update.
Anyone else notice the team Forza ten anniversary cars are gone now and says standard edition instead for the ten anniversary cars? whats up with that?Never mind read it wrong, disregard.
That may be true, but it doesn’t mean that this particular reveal is the only one we’ll be getting this week. That being said, they did call it “week 9” so I don’t know what they’d call the next reveals; “Week 9A”? “Week 9.2”?
