Another forum I go on has a member of Sumo who posts on it. Yesterday I asked if he could give us any indication about the 360 version. He isn’t working on FH2 but did leave us a message today.
“I need to go next door and give it a go (if I can get past the security doors, it’s pretty locked down!) but I’ve only heard good things from the team working on it. They certainly had some of our heavy hitters on the code and art front.”
It’s not much to go on and the cynics amongst you will probably find something negative in this statement but it’s enough for me to be assured that FH2 on 360 will be a good game made by people who are passionate about producing the best experience possible.
Played 1 game from Sumo, Sonic Racing Transformed, & that thing was pretty sweet! In this current desert of 360 info, that’s probly the 1 source of optimism I have to cling to so far =(
There’s no reason you can’t wait an extra day or two when the game releases and then find out the real information on the 360 vs. XB1 versions. Once the game is out, it is out in the world and open to having gameplay footage from users and reviews from critics online. I understand the lack of 360 info is due to marketing and that is frustrating for us.
If the difference betw. FH2 x1 & 360 versions is roughly equivalent to the gap betw. Assassins Creed 4 x1 & 360 versions, I’ll b ok 4 the most part. Anymore and… I’d have to think it over =\
I only have a 720p TV anyway, so x1/1080 native would b wasted on me XD. In order to justify upgrade, not only would I need the x1, but I’d need an entirely nu boobtube, when the 1 I have works perfectly

Also, I got to check out sum demo footage (tried to post a link of a 30 min playthru, but I guess it’s against TOU cuz it didn’t get posted, so I’m not gonna try anymore). It was gorgeous O.O there’s a 3 day time lapse 1 along the coast, I initially thought I was watching rl footage it was so convincing (dat lighting! =O).
Ultimately, this probly means the 360 version will lag faaar behind the x1 version, not even close, there’s just no keeping up w/ that. Sad… =(
P.S., when do we get out of being “under moderation”? I joined the forum a short while ago, so I guess that’s why I’m still there. When can I expect to get out of it, any1 know?

Simple. all about sales. the Xbox 1 needs sales. so therefore microsoft would want them only showing X1 game stuff with the idea that: oh i dont know what the 360 version looks like, but wow the x1 version looks good. im gonna buy a x1 so i can get it. sadly they dont seem to get not everyone has money for a x1, or even wants to upgrade yet. the fact that they are using the horizon 1 engine and updating things and a new map that is over 2x larger than before with 200 cars at least from the start on the 360 is enough for me, so no go on the Xbox1 for me. and selling it 10 bucks less at that. im not gonna be picky.
info aside… i am wondering if or when they will explain the dlc, it’s gonna be there but what exactly. So far there are a lot of packs already announced and the pass. Will the 360 get the free cars, the preorder store cars, the vip. It’s odd that even though they say there is dlc for 360 they never said directly if the pass/vip/packs will be in both or just one. (articles) It’s safe to say day one stuff won’t be… but what of all the rest?
So one of the news posts about a week ago mentioned that some of the cars in the XBox One version of the game wouldn’t appear in the 360 variant. I understand that there are performance limitations on the 360 and that the game is made for the new generation (as it should be), but I wondered if anyone knew which cars would be different or missing on the 360.
