Ok so Im not trying to complain or any thing but I was really disappointed by the fact that most of the cool and crazy cars weren’t in the game and the paint jobs are there like the carbon fiber, I really suck at pant job and my favorite design is carbon fiber. I’m hoping that they come out with an updat that will add all of the cool cars in and sweet paint jobs. Im tier 4 and was really hopeing that I was going to get some of the free cars and out that it was only for the Xbox one. I really don’t have the one for the Xbox one and it took me two years just to get the 360. Is there any way this stuff could be added
That was quite unnecessary besides, there are still plenty of games still coming for 360.
On a different note, I don’t understand why people are saying they are going the PS4 route because of this game? Turn 10 didn’t make XB1 and there are plenty of other games that still make me want a XB1. Just don’t support Turn 10 if you aren’t happy with them. I’m not sure I’d want the XB1 version of horizon 2 since Turn 10 seems to want you to buy passes and dlc that are more expensive than the game itself. You don’t pay then you don’t get certain races or cars. I’d rather take my 360 version pay once and enjoy. Most of my favorite classic cars are already in the 360 version that I don’t really see in other racing games. To me it’s much nicer than going through a list of stuff in the game that you can’t use unless you pony up more money. I see Turn 10 getting more and more greedy with overpriced dlc starting with Forza 3 then getting worse with each game. Yeah I know I don’t have to buy it but its making me turn away from turn 10 altogether.
LoL once/if I find out if my CSR will be compatible with the PS4 for PCars that will be route I going, Just waiting it out for now.
I don’t think FH2 is a bad game, its just not worth 50 bucks. I rented it for 1 night and it was fun, but a little lifeless and the cars have to much grip. I’m going to wait and see how The Crew is then make my choice. I never bought the Rally expansion for FH1 I might get that to keep me busy for a while.
Couldn’t agree more. PGR4 had weather back in 2008 and I don’t remember it causing big frame-rate issues. And I also remember Forza Motorsport 4 actually looking like a big improvement on Forza Motorsport 3, whereas from what I have seen so far, FH2 on 360 barely looks any better than the original Horizon. And they deleted some of my favorite cars from Horizon 1. Looks like I’ll be sticking with Horizon Colorado and FM4 for the moment, FH2 360 just looks like a lazy attempt to broaden the customer base. I would rather they did what Polyphony Digital did with Gran Turismo 6 and kept it on last gen, or simply released it only on next gen and did not disappoint those of us who do not have a One with this mediocre effort. Such as shame as all the previous Forza titles I have played have seemed like such standouts. And I was especially disappointed when I heard that the A45 AMG, E63 AMG, Tesla Model S, '49 Mercury Coupe, RS2 Avant, Alfa Spider and Abarth Punto would all be Xbox One exclusive. For me at least, there are only 5 cars in the whole list that I cannot find in any other Forza game on 360 and that I would actually be interested in - the 2012 Vauxhall Astra VXR, Lamborghini Huracan, LaFerrari, McLaren P1 and Corvette C7. I suppose I should be grateful they didn’t make all those One exclusive as well. But overall, I’m not impressed with this one. The first Forza game on 360 I won’t be likely to buy.
I know how you feel. Most of the cars I was really looking forward to driving are exclusive to the One, and why would I be bothered about some “substitute” cars from FM4 when I can just drive those cars in FM4 without having to pay extra. Also, how come PGR4 had what seemed to me like a perfectly decent weather system years ago, and yet FH2 on the 360 did not get one. I know FH1 did not feature weather, and FH2 is basically running off the same engine, but to be honest I would almost rather they had not bothered with a 360 version, just because I would rather not get my hopes up and then discover it to be such a disappointment. I can accept there is no weather or Drivatar system, as the 360 is not powerful enough, but why not include cars like the Audi RS2 Avant and Alfa Romeo Spider when they were in Forza Motorsport 4, for heaven’s sake. And how come they claimed the Launch Day DLC would be “available to all Horizon 2 players” and yet from what I have seen, the 360 version has no Defender 90, no Clio Williams, no Focus RS, no 2015 Mustang - in fact, the only one of the 5 cars from that pack that I really wanted that I will still be able to use is the Escalade! And another thing - if FH2 is basically running off the Horizon 1 engine, why did they ditch the '67 Beetle and replace it with the '63 from FM4? Likewise why get rid of the Jeep SRT8, Range Rover Supercharged, Eagle Speedster and Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG that were some of my personal favorites from the original Horizon, and yet add cars that were in FM4, like the Fiesta Zetec S and Mazda 3, that are not in Horizon 2 on the One, especially as they are not including the RS2 and Alfa Spider which were in FM4 and FM5? It makes no sense. Well, I suppose the problem is, it makes financial sense, but personally, I think the value for money and off the shelf content of Forza games took a big dive with the original Horizon compared to FM4, and knowing what I do now about the 360 version of Horizon 2, I can only feel glad I did not pre-order it but chose to stick with Horizon 1 and FM4 until I can afford an Xbox One. Or (and considering how much I loved Forza Motorsport 3 and 4, I never thought I would say this) a PS4, depending on what GT7 brings.
Lucky… no way… it’s all sales… there will be more 360 versions sold then XO versions for a while. Still 360 users are treated quite badly. At some stores in my country the 360 preorder versions are sold out, still more then enough XO versions left.
We’re all hoping for an update for various reasons
They did say its a Horizon 1 engine, i suppose most were hoping for a bigger difference. They’re using almost off things from there, car sounds, graphics etc, it still has the same errors FH1 has. I was surprised that the P1 and Laferrari are in, same with the Veneno, but maybe DLC will bring the others cars out, and in some ways they’ve gone back from FH1 -__-. They probably added different cars cos people wanted something different e.g. More muscle. Which im glad they finally have done. Or they should have called this Horizon 1.5 instead lol
What did you think was going to happen?
Turn10 (or who even made the horizion 2) is more interested with xbox one because its next gen than the 360 as I said before your lucky they made a 360 version and not just make a xbox one version and leave you playing fh1
Over 80 million XBox 360s have been sold; so far, about 5 million XBox Ones have been sold (as of August, according to GameSpot). Even if every single XBox One owner was a former XBox 360 owner – and completely stopped buying games for their 360s (unlikely) – there’s still 75 million more 360s out there than there are XBox Ones… and 75 million more potential customers.
And I don’t think what we want is all that unreasonable. I think we’re a rather easy to please bunch. We’re Forza players after all: throw a few cars and credits our way, dangle some DLC in front of us, and we’ll follow Turn 10/Playground/Sumo around like lost puppy dogs. A little bit of goodwill goes a lo-o-o-ong way.
Just because we have last-gen hardware doesn’t mean we don’t have feelings…
I so agree. This game would not take much to make it one of the best racing games on the 360. I would like to add the missing paint colors (chrome, and camo) to this.
I don’t see why they wouldn’t do DLC. I would definitely put down the money for DLC if it adds some new cars to the game. Not just recycled cars from FH and FM4. Though, it would be nice to have some of those cars. I was mislead by their VIP article. I really hope they do DLC. I wanted to drive the 2015 Mustang.
