the Forza H2 car list is only for the X1 not the 360 but on the 360 it will have over 200 cars at release date and you will not see some of same cars that are on the X1 on the 360.
the X1 is a bigger platform ther is no rain in the 360, only 100 club members 8 players to a lobby the forza H2 on the 360 is not will not be a full version of the game (If you have or are getting a Xbox One then dont even get it for the 360 I do have both game system I could not bear to separate from my 360 will be getting H2 for my X1 was thinking of getting it for both but now that i know what the 360 has & dont have it will only be for my X1)
way to incite wars there with the “incomplete game” and “don’t get the 360 version”
if you have a 360 and no plans of getting a one as of now why wouldn’t you get that version?
it doesn’t have a completely different list of cars. That would be the dumbest marketing move in history to not tell anyone the cars are completely different considering it’s a driving game depending on cars… It says some not all.
it has fewer events
no driv
weather
car meets
instant online
The game isn’t going to be dlc of 1 or something… the game is much bigger than the original. Considering it’s a dinosaur console im shocked they kept all they did considering. That’s awesome if people are getting the one version, enjoying a one console. But why are so many just ragging on the 360 version and telling them not to get it. it makes no sense.
I did not mean thats not a full game, but the one on the 360 will almost be the same cars some will only be exclusive for the X1 and yes if i could not get it for the X1 i would buy it for the 360 but the game was build from the bottom up for the X1 they hired Sumo Digital to make the game some how work on the 360, sorry about that im big Forza fan got to love it
If I had both consoles, I would get both games. I’m not suprised that they’re still releasing a 360 version, a lot of games still do. The Xbox One is just starting to build up a user base, so releasing it for the 360 will secure some, well most likely a lot, of funds. Don’t be shocked if the 360 versions sell way better then the Xbox One version will. It’s a smart move.
Saying that the 360 will get a incomplete version isn’t perhaps a smart move If you say that then Horizon 1 was a mere demo. It had way less events, a lot less cars and less space to drive your car around. Horizon 2 for the 360 will be a worthy successor from what we’ve heard and seen so far.
As for the car list, it’s still unclear. They make it sound like the known list is purely for Xbox One and the 360 list will be completely different. As others, I don’t think that will be the case, so we have to wait and see. I’m just hoping that for the 360 the Peugeot RCZ R will be in the car list, since that is one car that should on the roads of France and Italy
I’m assuming by browsing the car list for Horizon 2 that any cars which have made appearances in either Horizon 1 or Forza 4 could be in the new game. The F5 exclusives and open wheel not so, but still the list should be pretty strong regardless.
I’ve watched the trailer again and at the end you can read “Some cars shown only available on Xbox One”. Hopefully for the 360 players It was put there just for the KTM and the Ariel. If the new, next-gen models are exclusive too, then the car list is definitely gonna lose some of its appeal in my opinion.
i am hoping that the car list will be the same if not me and several others that have the 360 are going to pretty upset, i hope there are the maps, and event numbers are the same weather isnt a big issue or car meets.
and for those that say dont get the 360 version or what ever. who cares what you think. my 360 works fine, and last i checked that coin that the new xbox cost can buy me some things that i need.
I’m debating whether or not I’m going to get the 360 version. I don’t have an XBox One at the moment but I plan to get one, but that could be a couple months down the road. $60 is easier for me to fork over right now than a few hundred.
For me it doesn’t matter too much because the game has a well developed Ferrari list of cars that I want to drive. If anyone wants to put up a listing of which cars are derived from FM5, it would be a huge help though.
If you go to my website www.manteomax.com and open up the FH2 spreadsheet, I have a tab called “Forza legacy cars” that lists the cars that appear in FM3-4-5 and FH1-2. Note that not every model name is listed; in the case of duplicate models (based on weight and horsepower etc) I combined them or snipped them (like the Jim Hall race car in FM4 and multiple Dallaras).
Max your spreadsheets are fantastic, keep up the great work with them, I will be downloading the FH2 version when it’s ready.
I have the Xbox One version on pre-order, I am still thinking of getting the X360 version for those times I share the console with my family. You know, just because I need to race. Might not have the same line up but it still will be awesome.
M-Max, thanks so much for the spreadsheet, such a valuable tool as I plan out my first go-round of FH2 on the 360. I am eagerly awaiting new adventures in new terrain, but I must admit that my enthusiasm was a little dimmed when I saw the final car list had omitted one of my favorites, the 1973 Maxda RX-3. I do love my little buzzbombs. The sounds from the 12A rotary are so unique.
From your spreadsheet, I saw that the RX-3 is only in 2 versions of the game, FH1 and FM5. Crushed, again, that a (brilliant) car just introduced in FH1, repeated in FM5, and now its gone?
Then I filtered your list to show only those cars in both FH1 and FM5, but NOT in FH2, and here is what I found:
1973 Mazda RX-3
2011 Citroen DS3 Racing
2012 Ferrari F12berlinetta
2012 Infiniti IPL GL Coupe
2012 Land Rover Range Rover Supercharged
Nice little group - maybe potential barnfinds, maybe the “free” cars from DLC packs. At any rate, the car models exist on both platforms, in the latest game for that platform, so no reason why they can’t be added.
I think its a safe bet that the Huracan will be in the 360 version, since it is the car shown on the cover art for both versions – and the “flagship” car for this iteration of the Forza series. So, that one I’m pretty confident about.
