Same problem on Series X for me. Has happened in Featured Tours and Builders Cup Tours.

Absolutely. I am now at the point where I have given up and will uninstall the game. I have tried on 7 separate occasions to make any career progress, and each time I have to repeat races and whole cups again and again, only to lose all progress at the next boot up. What an absolute joke.
This is basic game functionality Turn 10. You didnāt test this game AT ALL did you? A truly a pathetic way to treat and disrespect your loyal fans. I have completed and loved every Forza up until this point (yes including 6) and this game is an unfinished buggy unplayable pile of cat poo. The whole team should be ashamed of yourselves to release such a buggy unfinished āproductā. Who was the winner that gave the call to ship this when it wasnāt finished?

Happening to me too. I give up. Iām un-installing this absolute pile of buggy garbage.

After 2 weeks of no crashing and playing and seriously putting alot of time into the game knowing the bugs was still there, suddenly then forza coming out with a update i thought i could sit back and worry no more about appling upgrades crash. Sadly, its back and its on the Track Exotics Featured race series now, just completed the Nurburgring Sprint GP and applied the weight reduction upgrade and now it comes back, held for 20 minutes before i had to force shut the game.
I eagerly await another update to fix this, so i can finish what i started.

Well, giving a fresh install on a separate sdd a try now.
Itās the only suggested fix I havenāt tried yet ā¦
ive uninstalled not gonna play again bugs stop it being a enjoyable game should have patched it by now its been three weeks for them to fix it with no news from them in any of the forums

Really not understandableā¦ hate it 
Iāve had the medal show up and then I backed out to main menu, bought a car. Quit the game from main menu and when I turned it back on I was back to having to do the second race of the series. It didnāt save race 2 through 5. This game is the worst buy Iāve made. I like the gameplay, I want to play it but Iāve had 4 hard crashes and 14 applying update type freezes. Iāve played it once since official release day to see if the patch fixed it, it didnāt. I tried to refund day 1 of early access after it happened 6 times. It got denied and Iām done with it. Biggest waste.

I have the same problem. infinite loading screen after update and progress is not saved.

Same here. Applying upgrades between events, trying to apply designs, always get stuck with the spinning wheel. Car XP will always save though so its odd. Getting to the point where I donāt want to play it until itās fixed.
Same problem here, game freezes too often after upgrading the car (it just happened twice today) AND does not save progress (sometimes I have to replay a race, sometimes even two or three races). I wouldāve understood a few little bugs here and there since the release but itās almost three weeks and the game feels like a beta versionā¦ Please fix it

The truth is the process is alright, however:
As I restarted the game, the ENTIRE builders cup āPremium Performanceā wants me to restart. Though I got my reward the Ford GT but the major concern is WHY does it restart all over again.
Please fix the issue of restarting the process

Fix it already. This is unacceptable and game breaking. This is the first time in my around 20 years of gaming experience that I see such issueā¦
Iāve literrally done the same race 5 times and still progression not savedā¦
Sadly any of us will get the Accura from the feature races because the game doesnāt save the progress.

They will have to gift us it AND the Audi if they donāt fix this soon. Otherwise they should keep them up for another month.
T10, I beg, I am on PC, I want to play career mode and I, like most others in this thread, cannot. Release a hotfix for this issue alone as it makes the game LITERALLY unplayable. Itās shockingly bad for single player to be unplayable in a game in 2023.

The Singleplayer runs the most time without any problems in my Caseā¦
Only the Multiplayer shuts down the game every second Race or the FPS drops down under 30FPSā¦

Just a 3500ā¬ PC and it cant run FM fineā¦ its a shameā¦ bought the Premium Version of the Game and cant play it ā¦ pls fix this ASAP
Happens very often. Also with cloud and xbox series x. Also switching car seems to have the infinite loading screen. Even when outside career and into owned cars. Then the infinite screen and career progress lost.

My game progress is not being saved after any race in the career mode. Every time i restart the game i go back to the previous race which i have completedā¦ Iāve tried playing the same race over and over but the progress goes away the next time I start the game.
I try to upgrade the car, save the reply, etc. It just gets stuck on the loading screen.
Itās virtually impossible to play the game in current state, so Iāve stopped playing till the time issue gets resolvedā¦ And i played for the premium upgradeā¦ Itās utterly disappointing and not acceptable. Hope to see some compensation along with a quick fix.
Tried these workarounds as wellā¦ However, nothing works!!!
- Try buying a new car
- Please try buying a new car that you do not already own.
- Then replay the cup as normal.
- Do not change Difficulty or race rules in-between races
- Do not update the Fuel or Tires before races
At this time, iāve literally given up! Hope to see some help soon.
