Same issue for me on X Séries, the game doesn’t save progress, I have to restart again and again…
Hangs on synchronisation loading, hand on loading modify parts, black screen by quick launch…

You don’t progress to far cause if you then do races without upgrading then restart you loose all that progress as well not just the last completed race
Same here on pc not saved and wheelsettings not saved too.

Hatte die Serie fast beendet. Vor dem letzten Rennen in Spa habe ich ein Schnell-upgrade gemacht, da reagierte das Spiel nicht mehr. Nach Neustart waren die letzten beiden Rennen nicht mehr da.
Same issue here, I have even restarted the first event from the beginning to get half way through the event and not save. The game will save all driver xp, car xp and credits earned and even recognise that I have completed the event 3 times but not save the progress made theough the event and i cannot get past the first event. Turn10 please respond

same issue, happened multiple times, mostly when doing the auto/quick upgrade. When I went back and manually upgraded it didn’t seem to happen. Also had the game hang when trying to do a time trial/free drive in a few different cars. Also can’t access multiplayer, at all

Also been having this issue on Series X, but only with the first tour! Did the track tour from featured tours fine, but now can’t do any further because it won’t let me start the Prolific Performance tour due to this live event data stuff. The irony of not being able to play the actual main game content but can play the time limited featured events…

Same here. After the game get‘s stuck when applying a tuning or something there is no more progress made. Every time you restart you console or the game you fall back to the state where it was before it got stuck, but Experience and upgrades don’t get lost somehow

Same thing has happened to me, I keep getting restarted back to Miami homestead after completing the last few races in the first series. I’ve racked up almost a million dollars (incl the 500k from premium) and also maxed out my VW golf in supposed 3 races now because it hasn’t saved the race progress but the car progress has saved. I’ve even got the Xbox award for completing the first series but the game thinks I haven’t completed it. So frustrating paying more for a game that I can only play on the same tracks over and over. I’ve stopped now and going to wait for an update before I hang myself from this stupid glitch. Also the VW Golf R has an invisible pillar when you add a roll cage.

Same thing on PC constantly. On the plus side it levels the car up since you have to keep repeating the races as it doesnt lose car progession only race. I tried quitting to main menu in between each race thinking it would save progress but it happened again last night and have to now repeat the 3 races I did which I have done 12 times so far. Also happens when buying a new car. Hard to paly career mode like this.

I’ve completed the championship 5 times now and it won’t save. So I’ve refunded the game I’m very displeased with the quality of the game.

Same here. On PC. My game’s been crashing right as I cross the finish line on races in the Track Tour playlist. I’ve lost progress on three races today and have had to restart each of them from practice onward. It’s been extremely frustrating.

Having the same issue on series x. Current work around for me is to back out to main menu when I want to save progress, then I paint a car to trigger a content save to prevent progress being lost. Hoping for this to be fixed asap.
Same here on Xbox Series X - Stuck on “Applying Upgrades” and progress lost after forcing a restart of the game.
I just opened a ticket via https://support.forzamotorsport.net/, maybe other players can do as well.

Same here. I’m on Series S. It’s happened multiple times, after applying upgrades or buying cars.
It’s very frustrating. I’ve been enjoying this game, but I’m avoiding the main selling point (the career) because it’s just unplayable atm. Hope T10 fixes this, it’s unacceptable.
Wow can’t believe that, ill avoid adding the roll cage. I had a bug where in dash cam mode where there should be no steering wheel, one appeared in the next race as well as my car randomly changing colour in the menu somehow. Seems so many bugs, wondering which ones still show from FM7 too such as race turbos adding 0 extra power to some cars (Evo X). Mostly the not being able to play career mode due to the progression loss or you just cant simply modify the car is very frustrating!

This is a pretty annoying bug I have now played the second to last track six times in super sedans and it will not let me pass this point in the game.
