Something needs to be done about Wreckers in Leagues

T10,seriously guys n gals.Wreckers in any lobby let alone a Weekly League lobby need to banished to the depths of hell where they belong
Myself and a few other others where having a killer run on Road America up toward the front until some spineless individual decides ‘Screw it,why should i press LT to brake when that Gallardo in front of me will slow me down AND give me a free pass’,which in turn puts me right at the back of the pack
You try to boot them and nothing happens so race after race they troll and troll
Im in Elite Class and have really been getting into League racing but am no way a pro driver.I just try the best i can do and thats that. But when others think its funny to cause a demo derby on the 1st turn or decide they dont like the back of your car and try remodel it for you, then its becomes a joke

I know there are countless other comments about wreckers as well so can you PLEASE for the love of god, change the current system so if you and others vote to kick someone, they actually get booted out said lobby

I’ve had it with turn 10s lack of response to this. It seems as if they are catering to the casual gamer who isn’t necessarily here to race. EVERY LOBBY seems plagued by this now. I’ve asked for my 96 impala ss back since 5 and have been asking for a beretta GTU since 2 and they give the wreckers more cars to crash the honest racers than cars that were specifically asked for. Lemans won’t come up in lobbies cuz of the glitch where everyone doesn’t start at the same time, that issue hasn’t been fixed but they fixed the free car glitch right away, also gave us more options in… free play?? Again catering to the casual gamer…I race cars for real in SCCA And you’d not only get a ban from the sanctioning body for driving like that but if anyone was injured you’d get criminal charges! unless these issues are fixed by the time 7 comes out this will be my last forza.

Pinnacle’s a bit cleaner, most incidents are people missing braking points, not seeing cars in blindspots and whatnot.

We do get the occasional griefer though. If somebody from Turn 10 happens to be in the room that griefer instantly gets booted, but otherwise we just have to put up with it until that person leaves. Some people do take matters into their own hands however and issue some “vigilante justice”, but it’s rare.

It’s so nice to see Turn 10 related people get that kind of power.

There was talk of trusted community racers getting similar power, but I imagine that’s something they have to be very careful with in terms of who they choose and how they implement it.

I’d volunteer to help though if asked; I’m a clean racer that competes in both the Hoppers and Leagues, regularly reporting griefers and cutters when I come across them.

Me too. Not only should we all be helping Snowowl slowly reporting dead cert griefers, but we should take a stronger stance. If I was able to, or qualified, I’d volunteer for some form of responsibility.

All comes down to a lack of a visible vote to kick (and not one that shows only one person at a time).

Ive literally saved 7 or 8 replays the past few days of intentional crashers, but not sure if there is someone specific I should contact as result.

Is there a crash team/player response group similar to other forzas?

I remember someone saying something about a vote but I never even saw where its at on the screen.

I was in a race which I also saved the entire recording of a guy intentionally wrecking everyone as they went by. For me it was on a super long straightaway and he slammed on his brakes to turn into me as I was about to go by. Seeing the replay he was doing the same to everyone, even at the start. His was definitely doing it intentional and it was not some accidents.

Contact Snowowl, he’ll fill you in.

what is forza going to do with the unplayable online mode

I am new to Forza and have even posted a topic asking about the online multiplayer. I can’t believe that it is as bad as it is with people wrecking you on purpose. I don’t even take it seriously now when I get on the hopper lobbies.

At this point, with all the inquiries they’ve received, they’re aware they have a huge greifer problem online and they can’t or are unwilling to fix the problem for whatever reason. No one knows because they remain silent on the issue. Multiplayer has to be in a private lobby with friends or in a ghost lobby. Don’t count on T10 to fix it; That fix is not coming.

The easiest way to deal with an intentional wrecker is to beat them at their own game. They’re usually pretty awful, so catch them and pin them somewhere. Throw a race away to deal with them and they’ll leave.

No no no no no, they enjoy that kind of thing, and they can flip it on you and at the very least then can take you down with them.

I think this is absolutely what you shouldn’t do. Half the problem I’ve seen in leagues is people taking revenge… Then that person taking revenge… And it doesn’t end.

Yes, there are wreckers and some people are worse than others, but taking revenge just makes it worse. I find when I get wrecked if I manage to swallow my frustration and continue to go out of my way to avoid contact then that tends to be reciprocated. Of course, you’ll still get the occasional person who tries to use your bumper/fender as a brake, but that’s the nature of the beast.

Revenge wrecking also gives that person an opportunity to report you.

Absolutely agree. Retaliation begets more bad behavior and it spreads like a diesase.

I get as many good lobbies as bad, so I don’t really worry too much about it. It’s life.

Or as I’ve found many of times, you become their sole target and the only reason they remain in that particular lobby. I found some are really nasty about others wrecking them.
