more and more everyday i see guys sitting on the line on purpose laughing about it. then proceed tosmash into everyone on the first corner for the shake of laughing
voting to kicking them dont help there back in the same lobby in a few rounds. but its like every race i get these people who purposly will smash you and they dont appoligze or acknowledge there doing anything wrong. i know rubing is racing and it happens but on a straight if your on the left side track and im on the right but soon as i bo ut to pass you they turn very hard lose control of there car just to hit you.
i try to race clean i only hit someone if someone brakes to long or not enough. or if the car bounces off road then gets them. but other wise i always applogize for it and never hit anyone or take them out on purpose even if guy keeps doing it to me.
Vote, Block and report. Don’t forget to save the replay and get ahold of one of the mods on here with the replay info. I usually give mine to Snowowl. Seems to be working for me.
If you have a mic, be vocal, get everyone in the room to vote to kick them. If they are kicked from a room they can’t rejoin. If they don’t get kicked, block them and leave the room.
I’ve had someone rejoin the hopper after 4 of us blocked him first then he got voted out(was blocked by 4 and kicked twice and rejoined twice). We all thought he must have had a buddy in the lobby that was inviting him back in and it let him for some reason. But other than that one time block/report works great.
Also I have noticed a large number of new players flooding MP, in the last week almost all the hoppers I’ve been in were mostly 1-100 driver level.
welcome to Forza lobby racing … we need private rooms, Forza 5 seems non league friendly … maybe Forza 6 will get back to the Forza 4 league friendly, race simulation game we all use to love? until then report, report, n report some more … until your sick of reporting … btw kicking people was soooo much easier on Forza4, but seemed to be a problem on Forza 3 … I.E. fast racers were booted because of their high rating … I keep telling myself … It’s a launch title … it helps a little jk
Yeah dont block anyone because you will end up racing on your own…14 good racers 1 blocked racer = you cant join …basically ignore them /report and tell them a few home truths and they will soon get the message…
Those you spot glitching or wrecking people and ruining normal game play by crashing people, should be REPORTED by going into VIEW GAMER CARD, then Report or block, followed by Report, then select Unsporting behavior. There is then a box to fill in “CRASHER” - disruptive in races, causes wrecks, etc. Followed by Report to Xbox.
If you have the accurate gamertag, in the Xbox One Dashboard, go to Friends, in the left column use either “Recent Players” or “Find someone” and put the tag in there. The same reporting system as above is in effect, and you can file the report there.
This sends a report directly to the Xbox LIVE Policy Enforcement Team which will investigate, maybe even visit and observe the offender during gaming sessions, and then ban that person from not just a single game but Xbox LIVE itself.
Problem I see with that is as follows - say you outbrake yourself and spin out the driver in front. If in a case like so and its a complete racing incident and not deliberate, if there are moderators of XBL in the lobby, how are they to know if that was or wasn’t deliberate? Usually, if I spin someone out, or generally effect their race as far as running them wide and other things like it, if I can get the Gamertag I usually apologise, but when I can’t I just keep going. I also try not to get involved in an argument with said crashers, if they send me a message, I tend to ignore it and equally, I don’t message anyone if I’m taken out.
One incident wont get you banned - especially if it is a geniune mistake in a race. Sitting and waiting just to crash people is a whole different kettle of fish and they deserve to be banned.
While I hate the wreckers like anybody else is it really fair to completely ban someone from xbox live for crashing into others in a race… in a game??? They have paid for both the game, the xbox console and xbox live. It seems a bit far to put a complete ban on them using the service they have paid for just because they are trolling. Yes it’s annoying when they do this, but I would rather all the wreckers end up in the same lobby so they can all play destruction derby together and leave us clean racers to race. Banning them for wrecking is like banning the trick shot guys on COD. At the end of the day it’s just a game.
I’m only talking about wreckers here, not glitchers, glitchers should be banned.
Disruptive behaviour is a breach of the TOS, is it not? If I am expected to adhere to the rules, then why should others be exempt? I can understand if you have some minor scrapes, but the people that intentionally ram you to get ahead in a race as well as the folks that spend entire nights wrecking should have a very expensive lesson taught to them.
That’s like saying why take someone’s license for drunk driving and causing an accident. They paid for their car , their insurance, their registration, etc. they have. Done something wrong and are choosing to do so. If it was by accident one could argue but planned by sitting back so you can get the entire field in turn 1 is a planned act like getting drunk. They know the risks and still do it. I do not feel bad for the deliberate crashers at all. I even think some got banned and got new consoles and new gamer tags just to do it again as their gamer tags many times reflect crashing Into people, ( example. smasher 1 ). These things are completely deliberate and if one chooses they must accept the penalty.
It’s hardly the same as drinking driving mate. Forza is a video game, not real life. Talk about comparing a game to real life, you took to the extreme.
As punishment for wrecking they should only be put into lobbies with other wreckers and then they can wreck each other all day and the race will never end cause none of them will be racing. That’s better punishment then banning. They will just make a new gamertag
Dartman’s point is valid on principle. Taking all the ‘real life’ stuff out, injuries, car repairs, etc… It’s destructive and disruptive conduct. And that they paid for their system and LIVE membership doesn’t give them the right to disrupt other people’s enjoyment of the game. I can agree with you that banning them from LIVE altogether may be a bit much… I mean, if they crash people in Forza does that mean they shouldn’t be able to play NBA 2K? But they should be banned from Forza, no question. If their only goal is to disrupt other’s enjoyment of the game for the sake of their own pleasure, they need to go.
And I don’t think putting them into a lobby with other wreckers so they can wreck each other is the answer. Wrecking other wreckers isn’t what they want. They want to wreck YOU, a really good, clean racer. No fun in wrecking people who like wrecking. Altho, now that I say that, lol… if that’s the only lobby they could join, I guess that would be a suitable punishment! So, ok… I agree with you now, lol.
Why? What if I love COD and play it all of the time. I decide I’m bored and hop in to Forza to crash people for a while ‘just because’ but really don’t care about that game’s online experience. Getting my wrist slapped and temporarily banned from a game I don’t even care about isn’t going to stop me from doing it again (in that game or others). Getting a several day ban from ALL of XBL will actually punish me and make me think twice before I do it again. Knowing that the ban will be permanent if I keep it up is a strong deterrent.
Bans are not handed out lightly, and I am pretty sure (based on feedback the enforcement team gives at conferences) that they sometimes just warn players first before handing out the first ban for less severe actions.
