I know i’m not the only one that’s getting frustrated with these little buggers.
But the best thing we can do is remember their gamer tag and report them for unsportsmanlike with a little note as to what they’ve done.
Forza will soon get the hint to kck them off
Now i can understand bad drivers and people who are new to the game. but there is so many people that just want a demolition derby
Also add me n here i want to do some private races with people that know what a racing line and racing room is.
I wish something would get done about this, spent 5 hours racing online and by the end of it I wanted to throw my xbox out the window, people using your car as a brake at max speed, people hanging back to get lapped to try and spin people, or intensional ramming on a straight bit of track to get you off, nothing worse! T10 should be thinking of some incentive to prevent this or increase the damage to simulation online if someone hits you full on.
Accidents do happen which is understandable but these guys joining races to cause problems need dealt with.
REALLY DUDE you have been the worst person for crashing that myself and many of my friends have come across, I have raced many different lobbies and everytime you have been in we have tried to kick you, running around in your B Class mini cooper in the Pinnacle leagues, there is 5-6 of us who have reported and blocked you, yet still you seem to come in and connect to us. So you of all people DO NOT HAVE ANY RITES AT ALL to tell others to stop crashing.
So pretty much STOP doing all of what you say in your post then you might have a rite to complain, until then shut up and stop crashing, you sir DO NOT BELONG in the pinnacle leagues.
Roller1986 suggests what I’ve long suggested. It’s unacceptable to be at the mercy of these sorts of players but unless we all block them I don’t know what else we can do. I wish there was a bad sport lobby like in GTA and unsporting players could just harass each other and leave us serious players to play properly.
no there just needs to be a driver rating system so baddies play with the baddies and decent racers hopefully get put with decent racers. like in iracing. yeah there is still wrecks but there is a huge difference between rookie and d compared to b and a in iracing.
we cried out loud for mp to not be just a joke in fm5. it’s the same crappy lobby system in fm6 yet pcars has actual server lists (at least on pc dunno about consoles) where people can make custom rooms and that’s all there is. no silly hopper crap
When you finish a race and it brings you back to the menu with the driver list. Find the user that was being a knob and click on their name, it will bring you to heir gamerprofile and there is an option to report. takes a little bit of time but well worth it if we can get rid of them…
I wish there was a license test at the start where you have to do a couple races against drivertars and depending on how you do it will bracket you with the same sort of drivers
the only thing about the gran tourismo series i liked was the licences.
what about when we vote to kick someone it comes up with a few critera votes, so foul language, non starter for the 15th race, or utter bellend. then if you get a few bellend votes they put you in a lobby with other bellends, run that with an ancient coal driven server, give it a shake every now and then, maybe brick their xbox once or twice. people will soon get the hint. there is the reputation score, why cant that be put to some use?
"It would be good"™ to have a system to handle this. I would be all for it! :o)
It’s non-trivial to implement though.
How would it work? What’s to stop trolls reporting clean drivers? What penalties are applied? If it’s a system, how does the system detect blatant knobbery from honest mistakes?
Virtual stewards? How would they work?
I mean, even in real motorsport the outcome of some incidents isn’t known until hours after the fact.
On a side-note, has anybody seen any benefits of the Vote to Kick system in this game yet?
I’ve tried using it a few times on griefers but I don’t see any indication that a Vote has taken place.
While reporting peoples’ Gamertags for unsporting conduct is Xbox’s official way to go about things, I think that’s too much effort for the majority of players and as such doesn’t really help us.
Turn 10 did have a griefer reporting system for Forza Motorsport 4 where you could privately send them Replays and they’ll handle it from there, but as it stands there are too many griefers in the Hoppers and not enough ways to clean that up I’m afraid.
It has never been THIS Bad as in Forza6. Almost every Lobby is full of crashers. Even when you just pass a guy and you Do it fair…you almost always get kicked off the track
Pretty sure you can save replay name it something that doesn’t shame. - send pm to (snowowl- I’ll edit when I find it)- describe incident and name of replay and they handle it from there.
I typically just block players that are clearly griefers that don’t respond to game chat. Love me some last man standing etc. and it’s pretty awesome making them miss. The public mp is pretty much been ruined for years so I just don’t complain about it - I stick to racing with friends privately.
Every now and then I go into lobbies just to see what’s happening - put I guess I’ve just resigned to the fact that it happens and I just do my best to make them miss and have the best race I can given the fact that they are there.
As noted, you are racing these folks, so their gamertag is available immediately after the race. Simply pull up their gamertag, and the process is right there to Report them.
Or use the Xbox One method of reporting this game-disrupting behavior (poor sportsmanship) by going into Friends in the Dashboard, then Find the gamertag and REPORT the actions. Those reports go to the Xbox Live Policy Enforcement Team (PET) and they have the capabilities to join offenders during their online sessions for observation and warning.
Not only will those incidents result in PET taking actions, but they have the power to instantly ban those who challenge what they warn about - not just from the game itself but Xbox Live. That really gets the attention of people who are destroying game play for others.
Don’t get into discussions with the offenders, just observe, remember the gamertag and file the report. Let PET handle it without attempting to tell the offender how wrong they are or using retaliation. It is simple and effective when PET puts a leash on the crasher.
Remember, too, when PET issues a ban on a gamertag, it isn’t just for a single game, it is a time out from Xbox Live. The “reputation” ratings are on the Xbox Live side, including all games, not just those of Forza Motorsports. But you can also select to block or avoid that tag.
If you want to see a REALLY great example of this where people are tag teaming to crash people, take a look at a replay I shared. Search my gamertag “GameLogicalJay” and look at my Daytona replay with a description something like “when people don’t like you”. Seemed like a group of people, mostly with the same car, were teaming up to take people out. This lasted until I got frustrated and quit.
