What is it with people who buy racing games and then feel they have to ruin every other gamers race by constantly ramming from behind, driving full pelt to crash into racers at corners and do everything they can to cheat!
We’re not talking about the tail out on a drifted corner that catches another car, or braking hasn’t been judged just right and you tap someones car in a corner. Neither are we talking about all the usual nuances in racing that cause minor collisions.
What we are talking about are the idiots who even slam into you as you overtake them on a straight, or the people who are having a great battle for position only to purposely tag you on the final corner, or just before the finish line.
You are not winners, you have not got that extra position because you are a skilful driver.
I know we are never going to get away from these losers, but when we upload the incidents for all to see then just for once I would like to see some action taken against them.
Maybe an instant ban would be extreme, but if you have a number where you are uploaded and found guilty then lets see something done about it!
Forza is a beautiful thing, the racing community is a beautiful thing, lets make multiplayer a beautiful thing.

I race clean…i love to race properly…but when idiots rear end me on the first corner using me as their brake…i’ll be sure to remember who it was and vote to kick them…the voting doesnt seem to work…so the next race im going straight for them…i take it personally and i would try to take them out no matter what it takes…
oh and also sometimes when you’re racing side by side with someone and they decide to swerve right into you just to take you out…bunch of snakes…i’ll do the same back to them. (y) other than that…im always clean.
According to an article I read, the online league play is supposed to judge how players drive and group similar types of drivers together. So the crashers will be with crashers and cleans will be with cleans. I know DiRT3 had a system in place where players could see how much of a jerk players were by giving them one of three badges. Red for jackass or extended victim of jackassery, green for relatively clean and white for clean.
More racing games should also figure out how CM program their AI. The AI in DiRT and GRID are more fun to race with than any other game. They make mistakes people would make, don’t stick to the driving line and can suffer the same problems players can. Not like these damn drivatars.

I did 4-5 races in 3 different lobbies within the ELITE group yesterday and it was A JOKE.
If the elite group stays like this, then there’s absolutly no difference between the elite league and an open multiplayer lobby.
Why do people feel the need to say this is the solution every time. OK so I’m supposed to not play the game in its intended form. I need to reach out make a bunch of friends so I can race them over and over and over. Get real the problem is not racing with friends. The problem is people don’t understand what it is to race. This is not HORIZON folks.
lol racing in hoppers will always be this way. And racing with friends you can meet new friends cause they also have friends. racing in hoppers is not going to change. Most of the people who crash and troll other players do not care “what it is to race”. they don’t care about you. they care about the laugh they get or how them crashing you will benefit them. So avoiding the “idiots” in a private lobby is the easiest way to stop or minimize crashes like those. so agree with PilotViper112

This is no solution. This is a workaround for a poorly designed game. Other games have solved griefing fairly effectively.

Can’t agree more. Racing last night was great for the first few races then along come 2 or 3 numpties who seem to take great delight in ramming into you at full pelt at every opportunity despite you holding the racing line. Had to drop out after a couple more races as it was getting beyond a joke. People do make mistakes but come on - if people want to race like that then they are the ones that should race in private lobbies. I’m a newbie in terms of online racing but would like to think that I race respectfully wherever possible 
we have to remember now that forza has gotten bigger than previous in the franchise more people will be playing. As time went on Forza has catered to the more casual video game player. So with more people playing the more likely we are to find people like this. I have jumped into Lobbies the past few days and it has been all crashing. I dont like it. I race competitive and clean. Now that many causal gamers that do not regularly play racing games have gotten into it we will see this all the time and no real way to get rid of the problem. I try to race with friends if some are on. If not i have no choice but to play the hoppers.
Another problem is most people do not use the mic. If people did they could apologize and everyone would be less mad. Then all can hear when things go sour and why and kick whom needs to be kicked. I have accidentally tapped people and spun them. we are all human. but i had my mic on. apologized and then let them go in front of me. Some people just dont understand racing etiquette and never will. We have to accept that.
We can enjoy the games with friends in private lobbies is the way to go.
I think I’ve played just about every racing game ever created for consoles.and most for PC. And in every single one of them that had multiplayer. This is a common complaint. Always has been.always will be. Someone posted about etiquette and using the microphone. And I totally agree. Sometimes I will screw up my braking point and ram someone in a turn. I know what their first thought is but I immediately apologize. And in just about every case. The person I hit understands. And usually has a good laugh about it.
Unfortunately. There all always be a holes in racing. And every other kind of online game. Try to find some good friends to race with. Kick whomever you can when in bad lobbies. And sometimes. When in Rome…
ALL online play is like this. There’s always retards that find it funny to f over everyone else. Like in CoD when people go in to domination or another objective based room and make zero attempt to do the objective. I refuse to play online in any game.
give the algorithms time to work. it may take a week or two. and it wont be something you can select like eliete, it will be something assigned to you.
this is the result of fm5s last to 1st in 2 laps bash your way to the front training people thats who you win. and i think mods are going to make it even worse. “i dont understand, i always make that corner off line without taking everybody out”. fm6 makes you restart the race if you dont place in the top 3. many people have a drivatar than runs off and leaves the field meaning its 2nd or thrid, top two places in a 23 car race.
if r ace with friends was the real solution there would be public searchable custom lobies made by users. there aren’t. many people paid $100 for ultimate. the solution is for turn ten to fix the game. they say players should not expect free dlc, then why should the expect free $$$? if they release a broken game that means they haven’t earned the money. it is correct to expect turn ten to give you the game you paid for, not to expect the players to “just deal with it”. fm5 is the only fm rated lower than 6, lets hope sales match that. $$$ is the only thing that gets their attention. when dans paycheck is as lacking as his game he’ll catch on. till then he will keep doing what the $$$ tell him to do.
i agree portions of the game need to be tweaked but the multiplayer portion where people are ramming everyone to get to the front is not a problem with the game. its a problem with the people playing.

It can be a headache and especially it seems when Forza is just released it seems worse. Just remember there are a lot of new players and there are also new tracks. Most people don’t seem to want to learn before hand and just jump into lobbies and try to figure it out. Also trolls are gonna troll.
Just try to keep your head on a swivel and race as clean as you can yourself. Block idiots and use your mic. You can have a good time if you don’t get too stressed.
I have quite a temper so trust me if I can have fun in online lobbies anyone can lol.
Even pinnacle racers spin you out every chance they get and the problem is only worse there because now they can actually keep up. Combined with the touchy collisions when you rub that launch everyone off track it’s just terrible to race with collisions.
I race clean but sometimes people lag and their cars jump around… I’ve bumped someone by accident because of that. But i usually win most races, just keep going those wreckers will spin out on the next guy they hit and you pass them and move up in the next race grid. Just watch out for people who want to ram you on the first corner of the next race when you brake and they dont
