"Project Cars"? on Xb1

Looks good indeed. Can’t wait for some direct feed videos and for the 21st of November
PS: One thing. Why the driver’s arms animations are ‘blocked’ like Forza’s (no full steering)? It’s not like that in the PC version…maybe one of those things that still need some work for the Xbox One’s version.

edit. nevermind, i see it’s the same for the PS4 as well. That sucks.

The graphics are so clean! Amazing IQ! Exactly what i wanted to see

Need a thunderstorm clip to confirm but it looks like they have removed the mist created by the wing’s downforce.

True. By the way, the uploader has loads of PS4 videos on the channel so I guess that’s the PS version running there. My bad.

@Papa Benjamin: Unfortunately for you, old gen consoles will not see this game, only PS4/XB1/PC/Wii U

It was nice to see the player fighting for grip when the rain started to puddle up. And the changing time of day was seamless. Nice!

I’m still wishing this will come to the 360, even if it’s a toned down version.

No you don’t. 360 would do this game no justice at all. Move on to next-generation or PC.

This. You’ll just get alot of “Why wasnt this feature in 360 im sure it could handle it nothing to do with it being a 10 year old console blabla”, you can just look at the FH2 360 thread, which was supposedly toned down and I think the forums can live without another.

Like it didn’t do Titan Fall any justice?

You brought up Titanfail, need I say more? Sales no where near what Activision was hoping for (10 million +). Now this site doesn’t track digital sales, but physical discs. http://www.vgchartz.com/gamedb/?name=Titanfall

Wait till FH2 comes out Tues on 360 & people see how inferior it is compared to X1 version. Remember, all those reviews are for X1 version http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-one/forza-horizon-2, haven’t seen a review for 360 version.

No, seriously. No reviews for 360 version on metacritic.com at all. http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-360/forza-horizon-2

Plenty of videos of the 360 version on Youtube. Looks very bad compared to the XB1 game (which, in my opinion, isn’t absolutely amazing as some people say).
I know many people still have their old consoles, with no intention to move on whatsoever. But how many sacrifices needed to be made to make it run on this old hardware? I guess too many, that’s why SMS scrapped them.

edit. Here a 360 vs XB1 comparison video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-XYOSZI2pAY

Now, back on topic please.

This one looks like more of the day to night transition from the XB1 version.

Looks like Xbox One Project Cars will be a lower resolution than PS4 version, but will be 60fps. The slightly lower resolution doesn’t bother me at all. Personally I could careless.

http://www.gamepur.com/news/16385-dev-project-cars-ps4-runs-080p60fps-slightly-lower-resolution-xbox-one-720p.html

Xbox One version will be either 720p, 900p or 1080p (highly doubt 1080p). I’m pretty sure it will probably be 900p on Xbox One.

60 FPS should be a certainty and that’s what matters to me. 900p instead of 1080p? Not a big deal in my opinion, I’m more worried about the possible lack of some features, especially regarding weather effects and day/night cycle (and the missing full steering anim. still really annoyed about that!)

The only thing the consoles won’t have for sure at launch that the PC has is livery editor for the cars. Other than that, all 3 versions are identical, minus resolution differences. PC up to 4k 60fps (12k with 3 monitors), PS4 1080p 60fps & Xbox One probably 900p 60fps. All versions will have same weather effects & day/night transition. Just going to be a resolution difference, that’s all.

The demo was 900p, buy it is likely it will hit 1080/60 as optimisation continues

Even though it wasn’t direct feed, the Xbox One version looked fantastic! Hopefully it will hit 1080p 60fps, but 900p 60fps is definitely not a deal breaker to me. Really looking forward to this game!

New video from EGX, this time PTG Coops is playing:

I asked him about the physics and he said It was great and the game did not disappoint. Assists are turned on for the LMP1, off for the Vantage GT3 and there was no way to change them apparently. The game felt good with assists on, he said.

edit. Almost forgot, he also played it with a Fanatec wheel on PC and the game was even better.

Deep down, I knew/know this game will deliver. Great video too! I’m ready for an official direct feed video for Xbox One.
