Looks good indeed. Can’t wait for some direct feed videos and for the 21st of November
PS: One thing. Why the driver’s arms animations are ‘blocked’ like Forza’s (no full steering)? It’s not like that in the PC version…maybe one of those things that still need some work for the Xbox One’s version.
edit. nevermind, i see it’s the same for the PS4 as well. That sucks.
This. You’ll just get alot of “Why wasnt this feature in 360 im sure it could handle it nothing to do with it being a 10 year old console blabla”, you can just look at the FH2 360 thread, which was supposedly toned down and I think the forums can live without another.
You brought up Titanfail, need I say more? Sales no where near what Activision was hoping for (10 million +). Now this site doesn’t track digital sales, but physical discs. http://www.vgchartz.com/gamedb/?name=Titanfall
Wait till FH2 comes out Tues on 360 & people see how inferior it is compared to X1 version. Remember, all those reviews are for X1 version http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-one/forza-horizon-2, haven’t seen a review for 360 version.
Plenty of videos of the 360 version on Youtube. Looks very bad compared to the XB1 game (which, in my opinion, isn’t absolutely amazing as some people say).
I know many people still have their old consoles, with no intention to move on whatsoever. But how many sacrifices needed to be made to make it run on this old hardware? I guess too many, that’s why SMS scrapped them.
Looks like Xbox One Project Cars will be a lower resolution than PS4 version, but will be 60fps. The slightly lower resolution doesn’t bother me at all. Personally I could careless.
60 FPS should be a certainty and that’s what matters to me. 900p instead of 1080p? Not a big deal in my opinion, I’m more worried about the possible lack of some features, especially regarding weather effects and day/night cycle (and the missing full steering anim. still really annoyed about that!)
The only thing the consoles won’t have for sure at launch that the PC has is livery editor for the cars. Other than that, all 3 versions are identical, minus resolution differences. PC up to 4k 60fps (12k with 3 monitors), PS4 1080p 60fps & Xbox One probably 900p 60fps. All versions will have same weather effects & day/night transition. Just going to be a resolution difference, that’s all.
Even though it wasn’t direct feed, the Xbox One version looked fantastic! Hopefully it will hit 1080p 60fps, but 900p 60fps is definitely not a deal breaker to me. Really looking forward to this game!
New video from EGX, this time PTG Coops is playing:
I asked him about the physics and he said It was great and the game did not disappoint. Assists are turned on for the LMP1, off for the Vantage GT3 and there was no way to change them apparently. The game felt good with assists on, he said.
edit. Almost forgot, he also played it with a Fanatec wheel on PC and the game was even better.
