Seems like this game is my only hope considering how flooded this console has become with shooters. I don’t actually mind FPS or something along those lines, but there’s just too much focus on them and not enough on racing games or RPGs.
hey still on xbox 360 over here with forza 4 i heard there wasnt a lot of cars in f5 could you tell me about the ratio would be like 2-1 or ??? also is there and auction house in f5?
The amount of cars isn’t that great if you don’t buy any DLC, but if you do, then the selection becomes nice. Ratio wise, I’d say Forza 4 wins 5-3 as far as cars go. But the gameplay and physics of Forza 5 is stunning, making a Gran Turismo fanboy like myself a converter.
Am I in a minority that I cannot under any circumstances play a FPS with a controller? I’ve tried several CODs, BF3, Borderlands 2 and I just cannot make the adjustment. Even Fallout on consoles gave me fits with the controls. I grew up with them starting with Doom/Wolfenstein and played Q3 pretty competitively and I still enjoy a good FPS, hell I’ve logged over 300hrs in Borderlands 2. My Xbox1 has essentially become a Forzabox, I can’t wait for Horizon 2.
But what amazes me is the lack of imagination and creativity by game developers. It’s like they can’t think beyond a person with a gun in his hand and/or warfare. I have ideas for some games that I think would be game changers, but alas, I don’t work for a developer… Back to racing!
I found it terrible though The Dark Project and The Metal Age are make my top 10 all time game list so for me it feels very far removed from the originals.
Black Flag isn’t an FPS, and either are Zoo Tycoon (great remaster of a classic - no judging) or any of the EA sports games. There is a disproportionately high number of shooters, yes, but that is true to the gaming world as a whole right now. Give it time and a wider variety will appear, the 360 took a while to get some solid stuff going outside FPS, but in the end had a very solid library of non-FPS titles that I still find reasons to play. In the meantime? I can make due with blowing stuff up.
My thoughts exactly. I picked it up at the end of December and play just a little every week or so. It has kept the game fun and new by not just ramming through it in a week. RYSE was also a great game. Could have been longer but I liked the story and the game itself looked amazing. I hated the Lego games on the 360. I could never finish one but I am now working on my third one with my kids. Marvel Super Heroes was better than The LEGO Movie game. The Hobbit has been good so far.
I disagree just for the simple fact that its still selling for full price and black flag unity will be out in less than 2 months… Id rather wait and buy them both at the same time, as soon as unity comes out black flag will drop to 30-40$
