List of inaccurate car models in Forza Motorsport

,

Where did you see this, do you have a link to it?

He was let go in November 2023 but still showed up as the creative director on stream in April 2024?

@SunnyScout95 I’ve removed your comment because it’s inaccurate and has the potential to mislead the community. The article you link only refers to the position Greenawalt started in over 20 years ago. Creative Directors work on the individual game titles - that’s the position Chris Esaki has had and still has; studio management is a different role.

I wonder if that confirmation means it will be remodeled this year or even for this title.

Hard to say, anything is possible.

Look up any of the threads about the cars…

One sec. I’ll see if I can dig one up. Uno momento.

Here we go. This is essentially the poster-child of FM23’s inaccurate car models. The Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI…

If you cross reference any of the 9 models listed as noted, you’ll see that each of their threads are closed by a staff member with the following note…

Thanks Sechs…

I will say this though. Trying to read linked a twitter post on this site with my phone…

:grimacing:

But I’ll see if I can get pinch zooming to work right. LOL

And I’ll write it here. Turn 10, if you swap out a car model with a more accurate version, and all we lose is our paint jobs… That is an acceptable loss.

Agreed; a perfect car model with no livers is better than an awful one with them.

Where can I make posts/tickets about the LaFerrai grill/mesh that’s all messed up and the lack of detail on the front intakes of the Ferrari 488 Pista, it’s just flat black where FH5 has the detailed mesh and radiators.

EricShip111 made a video regarding about this status update

Also, some of us can be seen in the video, we’re gonna be Famous for this LOL :joy:

The only things I fear about the car models being updated is

A). They don’t make it to FM23 because the old models are already there and they don’t want to create problems with liveries/tunes/etc. or have a duplicate car

and B). We might lose the 2000’s era body kits, take the 22B for example (…But I think I’ll survive without them :smirk: They’ll still exist in the older games)

I look forward though to having some new models

Agreed even if it sucks that some of the most iconic rides look dated, they feel it as well, Don’t care too much about the outside but you have to fix the feel of the vehicle at least… plus the sound.

Going forwards I doubt that the vehicles that are added are going to be in such a poor shape as those that were just copied over physics and all…, a little glimmer of hope in a game that’s moving slower than a 3 tonne E Class

I even saw my comments in the Mazda RX-7 page that he was scrolling through!

We know scanning cars these days is more time-consuming than just taking photographs, but the result is really worth it in the end, trust me. Plus, I don’t care how long it’ll take, I’m just really happy that they’ve listened. And fingers crossed they’ll find those iconic machines.
