Honestly excited for Forza Motorsports future!

I just wanted to put this out to everyone and the massive team involved with Forza Motorsport.

Thank you for finally developing the racing game i’ve dreampt about since I first finished NFS Underground 2 as a kid. (I know its completely different)

The gameplay of buy a car, and drive it to unlock more upgrades makes every solo championship replayable in a way that stays interesting.

The physics when using quality sim gear is pretty good and the intuitive ffb makes driving feel decently realistic.

The visuals are awesome, im going to need to invest in a bit of an upgrade to get some high frame rates but I think its going to be worth it in the long run.

I hadnt seen much leading up to the release about FM and the moment I found out that you are going to keep the one title and update it continueously made me litterally jump for joy.

I’ve seen a lot of negative comments, forums and reviews that are focusing on some of the things that are always prominent with early days of a AAA release lately. Some people cant load things, games crash, things are different to horizon and i dont like change and blah blah blah.

Hopefully this inspires some people to talk about the things they really enjoy about this title so far.

You’ve all done a great job and I hope that the updates and changes are influenced by the people who want to see forza thrive towards more success.

MOTORSPORT is a wide category. I cant wait to see what you are capable of over the next few years.

Please give a thumbs up and comment about the features you love the most about this game, its only the first month and they already have a lot of those teething issues fixed.

Remember we are all here because we love racing cars and driving fast, so please keep your negative comments for another topic.

I agree with OP. We should be praising this game and not faulting it especially when my game only crashed twice during a 1 hour gaming session.

Im looking forward to them removing Chorepoints. Im excited to see some regular forza QOL features added back to the game. (Movable cameras in upgrades, track width, start car in autovista, ect.)

Im excited for a brand new bUiLt from the ground up laser scanned Nords if thats what we actually get.

What makes you think they will be removed outside of everyone insisting they get removed?

I think the chances of them removing it completely are slim to none but I can dream.

I would die of joy if dirt/snow tracks were added. I can only take so many Rally Legends series that take place solely on smooth, flat tarmac.

One thing I’ve grown to enjoy, even if it may not have been the intent behind CarPG is making a puzzle of using all my car points and exactly matching the power rating for the event.

Way to stay positive guys

I really enjoy the upgrade point puzzle too.

I’ve also found it fun to stay in a certain class for the whole 6 race cup. Like always stay in D class even thougn by the end of the cup it has a C limit.

I think there could be some great developments to the upgrade system. I’d love some simulated snippet of what the upgrade effects rather than just the text description. Like when i install a better suspension, a little video showing the car going around a corner over and over again with the gforce telemetry or suspension telemetry to show what its impacting and how i can benefit from installing it. Just something a bit extra to better judge the puzzle for the track.

I and quite happy with the game too.Other than the fact it’s pretty bare bones. We need more tracks, they had lots of time to add anything they wanted but decided to remove almost all of the tracks that made Forza-Forza.Now we have to wait for track releases and don’t even know what they are going to be,tbh the voting for tracks is likely meaningless, because Yas Marina sure didn’t win the first round of voting.I was looking forward to running some laps on Bernese Alps or Rio,Next Gen Forza style, nope. How about Bathurst Forza style, nope.Brands Hatch, nope.Unbelievable honestly… I am already burnt out on the track list and will have to head back to AMS2 for more variety I guess.Such a great anemic game, shame…

I bought GT7 to get me through the rough patch, but honestly I’m rooting for T10 to get this game together as it should have been out the gate. . Hopefully they add more features as well as other things the community has requested.

I’ll play every now and again for the new cars and when they get E class online, but besides that it needs work for me to stay consistent.

Game issues notwithstanding, I am optimistic about the future of FM8, with whatever cars, tracks and features will come in the future. I just hope they rebuild the library of cars and tracks, especially those that were missing from FM4 and FH5 and continue to expand on them so that we have the biggest, baddest Motorsport title, let alone entry in the Forza series to date.

Remember, it’s okay to praise a game and give credit where it’s due, while still calling out some issues with constructive criticism.

The mix arcade/sim rules is nice. FFB is okay.
Beside that, graphics are really, really ugly and over consuming, even a 4090 is struggling.
The game is full of bugs, the matchmaking is dope, upgrading the car is a joke, there is very few online content or offline content to enjoy and this game is very expensive, so yeah there is so much to complain about, nobody can see the fun or a good game in that.
Just be realistic, it’s a scam and treated as such by the community.

I am optimistic it can’t get any more worse then this.

I agree with you in some aspects but the game was in development for 6years. I repeat 6years! The game could have bugs of course every game does have it but mostly important it’s that they had 6 years it’s a long time to creat a masterpiece in my opinion. The game as bad performance on PC and missing lot of content really missing too much content… Maybe you wouldn’t buy a new graphics card if the game was perfectly optimized. No drag racing, no drift racing, no auction house, no performance, no graphics, no changing camera while changing rims or even the paint. So i play on Xbox Series X and played a lot FM7 on Xbox one X Wich is weaker twice than the new gen console and has lot of features and better sounding cars and even graphics. So yeah that’s normal people hating on game. People paid for this game to experience something good something close to perfection. They claimed everything was built from the ground up but that’s a lie… A big one… Tracks reused, car models, reused etc etc… the Audi RS4 Sedan from 2005 irá the same from forza Horizon 3 they haven’t corrected yet the steering angle of the wheels on RS4 so… How can I be happy? How can I enjoy the game? They claim the best AI ever and it’s worst than last game… Penalty system is also a joke .

100% agree Portela. Not only do they urgently need to fix the FPS falling off a cliff requiring a restart issue (on PC) but they need more MP content, permanent classes, etc.

The game is broken on a PC, as I posted in another topic here. I have a fairly high spec PC, albeit not the latest GPU, but one that handles high settings on MSFS, ACC, etc, with ease. And the number of times a new race presents undriveable horrible FPS requiring a restart, often with a party of other drivers waiting patiently (or also affected) is incredibly annoying, Just last night I was racing in a fairly well known Youtubers livestream, and a number of drivers were affected meaning much conversation about these bugs and glitches over the actual quality of the racing (which does appear to be marginally better than FM7).

There wasn’t 6 years. It’s also a lie. Before FM release i watched many interviews and i was hyped and wanted this game more and more. In one interview, (also before release) where Mr. Chris Esaki was asked why there is locked fps and why not for older consoles?! Answer was, they waited for new X/S generation and to be ready to get max out of them, to get a feel, that FM is really new generation.

XS released in November 2020.

3 years. If they would say 4 years, then this would be more closer to the true.

I’m not defending them, i just saying, there is full of lies.

Okay, this answer was offtopic.

What i think about FM future?
Did them have a chance? They now must work hard 24/7 to clean up all the mess they made. Offcourse there will be new contents there and there. But how fast and in what quality, and how this all will end for the franchise and for T10, who knows.

Start is very rough. Even too much…

I’m not very optimistic about this, but i hope they will get back on the track.

You Really think they have to wait for a Console to Create a Game
