Honestly excited for Forza Motorsports future!

I just pointed to those years. That’s one.
Second, FM struggles with nvidia more then with amd. You know why? Cause XS is based on amd. And FM not the 1st microsoft exclusive game with same problems. There was same stability problems with Starfield, Redfield and other exclusives.

They worked with the Microsoft teams to design the XSX so like you I think 4 years is okay

zz.

Only the blind wont see this. The core of the game works and they will add contnet, thats for sure. In fact, besides of this biotope of whiners and kleenex users, who complain about everything, we have a lot to be greatful for. The physics rock hard and that was my main issue with FM7. Its so much better… So show us what you have for us the next 6 month Turn10.

I mean… then there’d be one less person to enjoy the dirt/snow tracks……

“Alright the Xbox went on sale, we can finally go buy one at Walmart and start development!”

Dev kits get released way before the hardware’s hitting stores. The dev kits might change as the console specs get tweaked, but they’d be developing these games on similarly specced PCs in that period of time. All of this well before a year before these things are heading to customers.

Regardless, the game is a total sham and ripoff whether it was 3.5, 4, or 6 years of development.

Simply put, it should not have released in this condition in any way whatsoever.

IMO, anyone denying that fact is a total apologist and blind to the obvious.

I love a lot about the game. And I’m VERY happy to know this will get continuously upgraded so I don’t have to start from scratch again. Especially with get ridiculous upgrade grind which is gonna have me keeping many cars stock since my main motive is to be a collector and just free race/cruise for fun.

I’d like to see more immersive expansion. Even the little things. Car revving in garage view like GT7. Moveable camera in paint and upgrade views(!). Easier shortcuts in maps and garage view. When you back out of viewing a car in my cars, it starts you at the BEGINNING again.

More content. More tracks. The Ring asap.

I have a mobile racing game called Assoluto and it’s jam packed with content. Rally tracks, snow tracks, Ring, very intuitive and easy to play online lobbies (I don’t even have a XBox pass to “allow” me to play online currently). Forza should have wayyyyyy more content but it’s the other way around. In fact, Assoluto has a cool airport “track” that is super popular, like a limited space “open world” format that we’d just have car meets and cruise in. Most importantly we’d use it to drag race each other. No drag racing in Forza is ridiculous currently.

My game always crashes when I go to My Cars unless I do it first thing when opening the game.

I love how the game plays. Graphics could be better for a next gen game. Physics are great but many top tier stock cars have hilarious understeer.

It just needs a little tweaking and R&R and it’ll be perfect.

I’m totally on the same page as you. The game was launched in a rough state, but I have confidence that they will slowly get everything right. As you say, the driving feels great and thats the most important thing.

As someone who beat NFSU2 a few times back in the day, and despite its problems, I feel offended by this thread.

I really like that there are some people here can look past what the game currently is and see the potential it has.

It’s a step up from fm7 in terms of driving feel and they have commited to updating as they go.

They are doing a good job, sure development was long and it was a bit lacking on release but that doesnt put me off spending most of my nights getting on the track and enjoying getting a new car to lvl 50 and getting better at my racing lines and braking.

Theres enough posts about what went wrong, just trying to put some positivity out there guys. I rather enjoy something for what it is then have a depressing experience worrying about the things that arent that great.

How can you say they are doing a good job when the game was released in an unplayable state. We’ve also only seen one major update so far which has only addressed some issues.

Easily, its just as easy to type it as any other words on your keyboard. They did do a good job, and despite the hate from the community they are going to persist and make it better.

Theres no way I’m able to make a game like this, and they did it better than i could do with 10 years worth of time. I’d say thats a good job.

I just think about how many different people are and have been a part of making this game. There has to be plenty of people that put a lot of effort into their section of the game and it works and I bet they are proud of that work.

I dont know how you can say anything else to those people.

Theres no way I’m able to make a game like this, and they did it better than i could do with 10 years worth of time.

I’m sorry but I had to do a double take to make sure I read that right. What kind of argument is that??? The fact that I’m not an engineer doesn’t mean the Yugo was a good car…

I have nothing against the devs working hard to fix this game, I’m sure they care and want it to succeed as much as we do. With that being said, the current state of the game is simply not acceptable for a AAA release. Everything from the numerous game breaking bugs to the lack of content, to the completely puzzling design decisions.

Oh, it wasnt an argument… Just my thought process when i think about the game devs and what they accomplished so far.

He asked me how i could say good job, thats how i think about it all.

You’re comparing yourself to a AAA company. That’s like me comparing myself to the poorest nation in the world and saying they are doing a good job financially…

This is wishful thinking. If you knew then you would be some sort of an oracle.

Maybe you should compare yourself to the poorest nation and see how great you’ve got it that you can leisurely spend your time complaining about how a video game isn’t up to par.
