Yeah it’s going backwards from an already pretty low bar, just did the PR Stunts to start off then went to Uxmal for the photo + daily, went to change to the Mustang, the change car menu hanged + the game closed itself a few seconds later.

Rubbish by any game’s standards let alone a first party system seller.

Tried all PR stunts once, figured they are not worth the hassle, and moved on with my life.

I really admire PGG’s commitment to the details. They clearly wanted to highlight the renowned build quality of Chinese cars so when you try to paint the 2021 MG6, there are two paint options for the hood but one does not do anything and the mirrors and wing act paintable but also won’t accept any paint.

Awesome QA just like real Chinese cars! Thanks PGG!

I started with the Mustang RTR Spec 5, which PB’ed the stunt, but got nowhere near the target, and then switched to the No. 25 Mustang RTR Spec 5, which utterly smashed the target and my previous PB. Round the loop, and done.

I realised with the Bypass speed trap that the only solution was very fast with questionable handling, which is exactly the No. 25 Mustang which even with semi-slick tyres still thinks it’s a drifty boy.

Weird weird Thursday so far.

Had that annoyance I’ve already posted about, had a minor miracle with a teammate in the Trial who beeped + slowed down to let me past and I just did the Mustang street championship where there was no visible checkpoints, the markers were still there but no purple smoke either side of any of them in all 3 races.

Interesting approach, I just used a prepped 2017 Ford GT and didn’t have too many issues.

If you’re having problems with the HW speed trap.
Ford Brocky #25 does it with ease!

HW speed trap is impossible because you lose all your speed twice in loop.

That’s a tune issue.

Not with Ford Brocky. You could complete the speed trap easuly with basically any S1 tune for this car

fh5_car_190

Tried multiple times. Got closer to target but it’s just way too slidey in corners and I end up losing speed before loop. It’s pointless to even try from other direction.

Hot Wheels often requires rally suspension to keep from bottoming out. Raise your ride height and stiffen your suspension to keep from bottoming out.

Was it by any chance someone from VVTI?

Playlist was fun for the most part, but I really disliked the cross-country championship. Two of the races I had issues catching the leading AI no matter how hard I tried. This issue is still libgeribg from FH4 at least (cross-country buggies). I settled down on getting 1st, 2nd (couldn’t catch after 10 minutes) and just blast my way through first, hold down the leading AI thay was oh behold the championship leader and drive as defensively as possible to cut any passing attempts. I had the same issue in of tje races in the HW championship, but I did not bothered to try getting first since I only needed 2nd.

Agreed the loop is the way to go for the HW Speed Zone. Got a new PB and easily the required with (only tried it because it was the first Ford S1 tuned in my garage lol) the 2021 Bronco. Yep the first car (as I recall). Apparently one of my better “And the kitchen sink !” tunes lol. If interested : share code 955 544 752 : S1 888 Testing

Shouldn’t be too uncontrollable, tricky entry and turn just before the loop as I recall, requires a bit of off-the-gas to not bounce a wall then back on the gas.

…they really, really, really (I am reminded again) need a better way of accessing share codes. What. A. Pain.

Escort Cossie with some s1 tune for hw did the job.

The trial, not a huge fan of the circuits in the trial but clean racing by the team, easy win. Picked first RS tune I saw, wasn’t the greatest but enough for the trial

Real pain for me this week was the speed zone. Took a number of tries with different cars before squeaking by at 150.99 with the 2018 Mustang RTR Spec 5 trading some speed for handling.

How long has it been since there was a sand storm during a weekly championship race?
