Hmm. Players still quitting on seasonal games. I guess they haven’t noticed still.

No way of knowing unless they visit here.

Or if they actually happen to read the end screen when they win. It says you only need to come in second. Course, they have to make it that far first.

El Barto, I love the roof pic. I have a few myself including a Limo…that was a trick. lol

I have done the trial at the first try with my ford Capri but it is not well balanced, for the first and third race ford raptor is the car that you have to use, It has a big advantage on the other ford.

EDIT:
Confirmed, the ford raptor is miles ahead the other ford in this trial, I tried it and won easily all the races even with very strong teammates

I used an Escort RS. first try, done

Same here. It was fun. Except for first race where a lunatic decided to take me out at the start of the race by turning straight into me and pushing me off. Managed to catch up and overtake the rest of the field. And another lunatic who was driving in reverse.
We won despite the tactics of those two.

I used a Roadster, finished miles ahead of the AI (and my team except for the final race when I slowed down to hold up the AI, because we lost the 2nd race in the final moments).

I was looking forward to the GT70. But now I am disappointed.

  • The iconic livery has been removed. (Probably because of the BP license?)
  • All Ford decals, including the roof, cannot be removed.
  • The fog lights cannot be removed.

These are still acceptable. But why can you only install off-road tires?
Other classic rally cars like the Stratos and Abarth 131 are tarmac Tires can be installed. And the stock tire compound has less grip than the off-road tires.
I wanted to set up the GT70 for a tarmac, but the lack of tires for the tarmac forced me to set up this car for off-road.
I hope they will add the proper tarmac tires to this car in a future update.

Well the BP version is still available as the No1 and No3 skins.

The car surely has weird traits. No tarmac tire upgrades. Stock tires seem like some sort of retro sports compound. Not like the Vintage Race tires but more than enough grip.
Fully adjustable stock suspension which is set extremely soft.
Rear and front aero decrease PI on B700. Front aero that decreases PI is very rare.
The aero values seem like a mix of standard aero and vintage race aero.
No idea why PG programmed it this way.

Ok trial I would say though I expected it to be at least A class when I saw the name a couple of days ago.

Somehow managed to land on a drivatars roof and inevitably end up way behind, catch up and then clip the dirt during a jump, flipping my car and ending up 2nd to last all within the first 2 laps of Mudkickers, somehow finished 4th and won the following 2 races.

I used the Escort RS too, Raptor is probably good for Mudkickers but the water in Tarn Hows Scramble can be avoided enough that it isn’t necessary to have a Raptor to avoid getting slowed down.

Again trial went well 3:0 and 3x 1st.
Reused already proven car, even tho some of teammates did know how to drive, my Focus came on top, so
B 700 Ford Focus RS '03, tune - 172 525 704
alternative is B 700 Ford De-Luxe Coup, tune - 177 425 525

Next to another offroad championship, this time in SUV, easy choice really
A 800 Jaguar F-Pace S, tune - 139 974 046

so keep it offroad, why not cross country championship
A 800 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited DD, tune - 824 909 208

now its maybe time to finally catch some tarmac championship, ok, so
S1 900 Lambo Huracan, tune - 488 011 727

Moving to PR stunts and again time for Agera RS to complete danger sign and speed trap and Hoonigan RS200 for dirt speed zone.

Forzathon car Lotus 3-eleven, its not an easy car to drive, but if I tried to upgrade it to S2, it was like driving on ice. So I left it at S1, tune - 112 324 550, went to easiest speed zone there is - Forrest Green, to collect easy 3 stars a pass, then took it on highway and drove into the traffic, to score near misses and finally did easy race at Astmoor heritage circuit for slingshot skills.

To finish everything, I took a pic of Hoonigan RS200 at railyard

Take care and have fun everyone bb

Edit
Added alternative for trial.

I wanted to take the same photo, but I fell from the roof and crashed my Gymkhana Focus. Very sad :(. But I took picture midway to the ground. So watchout guys, it is very dangerous

@trial - I definitely don’t recommend Capri FE. Just don’t use it even if really really want.

@gt70 - what a ugly car :stuck_out_tongue:
Stat wise to me it looks like A or S1 dirt car. Anyone did already some testing (in rivals/ranked/testtrack) ?

Can’t decide which is the best car for the Trial.

I like the Ford Escort Cosworth 92 but it has its faults with the first race, all the other races it can be dominant.

The 32 Ford is pretty dominate across all races.

The Mustang 65 dominates race 1 but lacks it for 2 and 3 but is still quite competitive.

Going to race a few more Fords and see what else is good.

Looks like an even field of cars for this trial if the correct tunes are applied which is refreshing for once.

The Ford Roadster should comfortably beat almost all other options. It’s pretty pointless, though, unless you enjoy doing 3 time trials on your own.

Yeah, I doubt it’s that even a list. I used the Capri and won all three by a distance but I’m sure you’d have beaten me in a Roadster. What is good though is that there’s a very diverse range of cars with different characteristics, so is a good car choice generally. Not a fan of three circuit races though - i was ahead by the first corner in all three and, given I wasn’t running it as a time trial, was very bored by midway through the second race.

I used the '81 Fiesta XR2 for the Trial. It was originally tuned for road, but turned out it really good for the offroad too. It was neck & neck with a couple of fast '17 Raptor and '92 Escort on the 1st race, and beat everyone by a good margin on the 2nd and 3rd. The acceleration was quick, and the short wheelbase, strong brakes and high road clearance (even with lowered spring), works really well on the sharp corners and jumps.

The share code for the tune if anyone want to try it out: 106 803 693
