Ahhh, at last - the 720 PO, what a nice Christmas present!

Anyone else having issues with drift stars not registering in the Forzathon?

Try Share Code 474 797 178 for a “One Lap” course if you cannot be bothered with the 3 lappers.

No, mine all recorded. Did you check what scores you needed to get 1, 2 or 3 stars at the particular drift zone?

Of course. I three stared the festivle but nothing on the counter.

YES!

You gotta do the 3 lap circuit events and not sprints!

My races registered complete. But now my drift stars wont count up. Is the directions wrong and it requires road race curcuits instead?

Got it. For some reason it didn’t like my tuned focus so I used my other one. Thanks for the input!

OMG what a Xmas present! The 2018 McLaren 720S Coupe Preorder. The only car, apart from the Owens McLaren, I haven’t got. Many thanks PG.

Christmas time is here and considering how trial went, I got my present
Speaking of trial, street scene, S1 900 modern muscle cars and very clean racing from everybody (even from speedy, but slidey Challengers).
Before the start I did run first race in Viper and Camaro, set a little bit faster time in Viper, but just didn’t felt it, because it lacks grip for my taste.
So took Camaro and was happy with 3 wins and very easy 3:0 for team.
Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, tune - 915 847 928 or new tune shared as Road V2
Dodge SRT Viper GTS, tune shared as Road

Solo championships also went by easily, starting with cross country racing with A 800 offroad machines, there was nothing special to it, just pick which truck looks the best and use it
Will probably run it with 6x6 Velociraptor at some point too … just for fun.
Ford F-150 Raptor, tune - 194 358 364
RAM Power Wagon, tune - 178 446 995
Hennessy Velociraptor 6x6, tune shared as Offroad

So next was dirt racing with B 700 retro rally cars and it was time to drive my Subby again, kept it on stock tires as there is very little of actual dirt racing, its mostly on tarmac
As always it could use manual + clutch transmission, but will easily win on auto too.
Subaru Impreza 22B, tune - 100 074 112
or Ford Racing Puma, tune - 110 899 087

Last championship and its more dirt racing, but this time with A 800 Hondas, picked something that was just collecting dust in my garage. Circuit races were easily won and so I expected some problems for last point to point race, turned out this Civic can also hold its ground on tarmac.
Honda Civic Type R '18, tune shared as Offroad
or Honda Civic Type R '15, tune - 175 724 991

PR stunts as usually done with Koenigsegg Agera RS, tune - 167 849 655 for speed trap and danger sign and used Hoonigan RS200, tune - 428 155 751 for offroad speed zone.
Danger sign done on first try (took a nice run up … down the hill), speed zone also done on first try. Speed trap actually took a retry (because I hit a car just before the trap) and a rewind on second approach as I hit the fence.

Forzathon car is HOONIGAN Gymkhana 9 Ford Focus RS RX (that’s some name right there  ) autoshow price 500k, I kept it at S1 with all upgrades, went to have some fun in the dunes on the beach and while listening to the radio (for double skill points) collected that 750k points, then used my custom blueprint at Broadway Village Scramble - code 936 805 901 (just turn two times right after checkpoint, for fast and easy finish).
Finally did some drifting at festival to finish the challenge.
There is also Welcome Pack version of this car, so be careful not to mix them up, challenge is for normal one, without “WP”

When I took the pic I started to think, if I positioned the car so it will be seen ok … failed big time. Regalia still got the approval stamp lol

Merry Christmas, bb

For some reason, the game is not recognizing my 2016 Gymkhana 9 Ford Focus RS RX, and I’m stuck at the weekly event step one. I even bought a second one from the auction but the game still won’t recognize the cars, even after driving it around for 10-15 min.

What am I missing?

Thanks,

I got in the 10 first by mistake, maybe you did too?

There is also a Welcome Pack - Hoonigan Gymkhana 9 Focus RS RX" WP", must be normal one without WP, so check also that.

I happened to spot somebody on the beach yesterday in the WP version, and was wondering about that. It usually has to be the exact version, and not any of the special editions.

I wonder if the Bronco could be a contender in S1900 CC with low weight and absurdly powerful engine swap.

Hello everyone,

Cars/tunes/suggestions for this weeks seasonal for those that find such useful. All tunes are my own, unless otherwise noted, all shared by myself (or others). ~ tune name / share code. If you use anything offered here, and you like it/it was useful to you, please don’t forget to leave a like.

Online:
**Trial: “Flex Your Muscle” | Street Scene | (S1 900) Modern Muscle
**Car used: 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 (Autoshow 60,000 Cr)
**Tune: S900 Road AWD / 777 792 277

Easy enough to use/drive/control car/tune for the event, should prove no issue vs. the A.I. for most. Car/tune is not the fastest on offer for the event, but as mentioned A.I. will be of no real issue, plenty of corners on the three events to keep the speed down on any extra fast A.I. or teammates - fast and actual good teammates, of course, may place better overall. Watch speed on long wide corners, can slip outwards on the wet tracks. Tune is AWD, with Forza rear wing.

**Seasonal Playground Games | Mortimer Gardens | (A800) Super Saloons
**Car used: 2010 Vauxhall Insignia VXR (Carpass ~ Autoshow 42,000 Cr)
**Tune: A800 Games / 167 650 951

Did four of five events for the games this week, longest in a while, seems at least the remaining two members of the losing side knew to wait it out. Fun, stable (very difficult to roll over) car/tune for the event. Tune has rally tires, rally suspension, no aero, AWD as stock.

PR Stunts:

  • The Orchards Speed Zone, 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor - ‘A800 CC Offroad’ (138 009 364), had a few goes before success, successful run was clean, no rewind,
  • Hythe House Speed Trap, 2019 Rimac Concept Two - ‘PR Stunt Rally’ (120 633 544), two runs, used rewind on successful run due to traffic,
  • Rannoch Shelf Danger Sign, 2019 Rimac Concept Two - ‘PR Stunt Rally’ (120 633 544), one shot, no rewind, got lucky and lined it up right first time.

Solo championships - Raced against Expert, Steering: Simulation, ABS: on, Traction/Stability: Off, Gearbox: Auto.

**Championship: “Honda Holiday” | Dirt Racing | (A800) Honda
**Car used: 1991 Honda CR-X SiR (Autoshow 20,000 Cr)
**Tune: A800 Dirt / 146 358 324

Tried something new for this one (had nothing suitable anyway), with some deliberate tuning/upgrade choices - no aero, and FWD is by choice, and not due to P.I. issues. Car is fast and light, while it could have good launch potential, but on dirt this is not the case, a lot of wheelspin on hard acceleration starts, however great once off the line. May not be a car/tune for beginners, otherwise a fun drive. Normally FWD will go where you point the front wheels, but at high speed the tail falls out of line, and can pull wide. A.I. were not an issue for me in these events (expert) once passed, catch up is needed due to non stellar launch at start-line. Tune is FWD, supercharged, rally tires, no aero.

**Championship: “Rally Around the Christmas Tree” | Dirt Racing | (B700) Retro Rally
**Car used: 1980 Renault 5 Turbo (Autoshow 120,000 Cr)
**Tune: B700 Rally Star / 933 218 659

A.I. are no issue at all - by far the easiest event for me this week (expert diff.). Quick, well planted, rally car. Tune is AWD, Forza rear wing, mudflaps, rally tires.

**Championship: “Ken Block and Roll” | Cross Country | (A800) Offroad
**Car used: 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor (Autoshow 63,000 Cr)
**Tune: A800 CC Offroad / 138 009 364

Opposite to above, most difficult event of the week. Difficult due to bad choice, bad driving, bad coding (cheatn’ A.I.) or likely all three together. Using an older, otherwise no issue tune, which has always been successful before - however was a challenge to win these events this week, taking to the last lap to gain the lead in some. If others face what I faced -very fast A.I., this will be a quite competitive tune for the event, with some real fighting to hold position and lead (meaning out driving them, not pushing/crashing them). Tune is engine swapped for 5.8L V8 DSC, with twin turbo, offroad tires.

Enjoy.

I had thought tune codes were back because I had tuned up a car recently and was able to get the tune code for it. But today, no, none of my recent tunes show. So I’m not sure what that one was about.

The Trial - I’ve only run it once and my tune was not the best. That being said, it was still a rough crowd. Only one other driver knew how to take a turn so we barely hung on for the win. Being a street race, there are no barriers to keep your teammates on the course, so turns at intersections were dangerous for all involved. lol. I have a Z06 Vette tuned up, think I will see how that does. I just didn’t have enough grip with the Mustang I ran, especially with the tight city turns.
2018 Mustang GT

PGG -Ok, so this is not the ideal course for a limo…but anyway. It actually did surprisingly well. It’s great at blocking flag carriers. Was able to score a few of its own, and decent at evading during the tag events…but not so good at pursuing. It’s still fun though…not exactly recommended.
2013 Cadillac XTS Limo Tune: 159 333 550 “Dirt Track Date”

Honda Holiday - This one ran well. Good grip, good control, and decent power. It was fun to drive and easily took the wins.
1991 Honda CR-X SIR Tune: Dirt Stride

Rally Tree - This was a prior tune and it does well. Definitely more suited for manual as the gearing is a little far apart for an auto. But either way, it did well.
1990 Nissan Pulsar GTI-R Tune: Rally Winner

Ken Block - I first ran a CJ5 and had to give up. It had no lateral stability whatsoever so running circuits was just brutal. Fired up a Titan and had a different issue. It’s set up for cross country. It has great mid-range and top end, but it’s not quick off the line. So half the race was clawing through the pack to get to the lead cars. Need to either regear it or switch to something else. We’ll see. It might do ok running at lower difficulty, I had been bouncing between Pro and Expert…but for the last month or so, have run everything at Unbeatable.
2016 Nissan Titan Warrior

PR Stunts
Danger Sign: Ferrari 599 XX Evo
Speed Trap: Ferrari 599 XX Evo
Speed Zone: KTM X-Bow GT4 (on race tires…would be much better suited with offroad tires)

The Hoonigan Bronco is just as unpleasant and useless as it’s ugly step-sister Barrett-Jackson Bronco :rage:; both are very poor substitutes for the Baldwin K5 Blazer which I miss terribly. Would’ve much preferred that or even the old Nissan Safari which still languishing over in FM7.
