Max - I think the series events listed are last month’s?

[Mod Edit - yep, copy/paste in a hurry. Fixed I think, let me know if anything else needs a correction. Thanks for the heads up! - MM]

Did few runs on trial. On last two I was trying to compare power build (over 500hp+stock tires) to grip build (under 300hp+offroad tires) in Subaru Legacy.
1 race - faster was power build by 2sec/lap, but it is no suprise due to long straight
2 race - faster was grip build 2sec/lap
3 race - grip was faster, can’t remember how much

Power build had big advantage in acceleration, overtook everyone before first corner in every track. Once You hit corners it is just sliding all over place.
Personally I would recommend to look for grip tune for this trial.

PS. I’m sad that 22B isn’t that fast :frowning:

Super easy trial, easily won all 3 events, we won championship 3:0 and I was the only one with tuned car,
So trial car B 700 Subaru Impreza 22B, Tune - 221 272 558
A 800 Japan - Honda Civic CRX Mugen, tune 101 420 301
S1 900 Germany - Mercedes Benz SLS AMG tune by DJS
S2 998 Big hitter - Lambo Centenario tune by DJS

As always danger sign and speed trap done with offroad tuned Agera RS, speed zone done with S2 Lego Senna

Edit
Forzathon car S1 900 Subaru WRX STI '15 tune - 609 560 870 used Whitewater falls jump and custom Gauntlet blueprint - 150 300 172 (just drive straight trough finish line).

Edit 2
Since everyone is talking about using Lancia for trial, well here is my take on B 700 Lancia 037, tune 728 593 562

The trial was much easier this week, I won it 1st time in my Subaru Legacy (my tune 974 623 237)

Forzathon was easy, used a maxed out Focus RS 03, can use a custom event for the Gauntlet race.

For events I used:

A800 Japan - Mitsubishi Evo VIII DJS tune
S1900 Germany - Mercedes C63 Black (unsure of tune)
S2998 High Rollers - Ferrari F40C DJS tune

PR stunts used Agera RS for speed trap & zone, and a maxed RR Classic untuned for danger sign.

Okay Trial. Not the greatest team on first try with some stock Mitsubishi.

Second try with good team and tuned Lancia Delta easy win. After tweaking Lancia bit more took went back, just for fun and it was great.

I advice against using stock as Ambleside Scramble is a bit different to other Dirt Routes.

Did championships vs Unbeatable, sim steering, manual, no abs, tcs, three letter agencies, hiv, corona, etc.

Stock Pagani Zinque Roadster for S2 event. It really is crazy good for this sort of thing.

Took the new Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Gunther Werks to S1 champ and it was quite fun. Edinburgh Station circuit was surprisingly tough and I finished second there, won two other events. Got curious about Edinburgh Station circuit and went back there. It turned out that Porsche benefits from creative use of racing line and was able to win after figuring that out.

New Porsche is really great in Street scene and Road Sprints but I don’t think it’s as beginner friendly on road circuits at least, as I originally thought. One of my favourite S1 cars though.

Didn’t had anything new to try out in Street Championship. Finally took '92 Honda NSX with body kit on it. Quite poor launcher but lot’s of grip. Felt like poor mans launch control (hold brake and throttle simultaneously and release brake) helps a bit with launch. Won every event with it but it was a bit boring.

New 1992 Toyota Supra 2.0 GT Twin Turbo is really great. Thought about doing few Street scene test runs with it but I just couldn’t stop. Went through every race bone stock and it was great. So it’s Street scene safe vs. Unbeatable, joy to ride while listening to Spotify.

Didn’t think it was a particularly enjoyable trial. B dirt is generally relatively easy and I don’t particularly enjoy those courses. Won’t be running it again this week.

The street championship for the Toyota was good fun. I used an 18 Civic which was a bit underpowered. Made a couple of silly errors and only came 4th in the first race. Fortunately was able to just about win the others and narrowly win the championship. I used the McLaren F1 GT for high rollers and the 19 Porsche GT3 for the German event with easy wins in both

You shouldn’t really accept a 4th position in the first race, it just makes the rest of the races crucial to win. Best to redo a race until you get at least 2nd.

I got the same impression, there’s something that doesn’t work with this route combination. I have been trying to pin it down why? I mean for Street Scene Trial two weeks ago, last route, Ambleside Ascent was technical, and so is Ambleside Scramble, but while I appreciated route selection for Street Trial a lot, this just isn’t working for me.

Broadway Village is flat, Tarn Howls isn’t bad, I like the mud section the best, elevation changes and different curve types and Ambleside Scramble is sort of unique in a way Ambleside Village circuit is for Road Racing. Maybe it’s that these are all Scrambles? Don’t know, would have rather had Astmoor Rally trail for last race.

Gave some more runs to this though. Tried Ford Escort Cosworth and Subaru 22B with my own tunes and they were about there, but especially Ford was difficult to tune for me. Not sharing codes for them, underdogs can be fun at times but these just weren’t.

Still kept notes about clean racing though, good games. One was really fun with three fastest of us just starting to have at Drivatars, complete strangers get the same idea. Well, there were some players at the bottom of the list but still, way to over do it… LOL.

Nothing toxic in player vs. player way in any match though. Lost couple of Trials because some just weren’t up to speed. They learn, good event to climb up with that learning curve I guess.

Much easier week this time.

For Playground Games, the 1991 BMW M3 worked for me. Small size and turns on a dime. Was able to utilize its nimble handling to intercept flag carriers on defense and evade zone guarders on offense. Other team quit after the first round. Initially went with the Audi RS2 but found it had too much acceleration and not enough handling. It felt like a hard-to-turn straight line missile whose movements could be read like a book.

For the Trial I used the Lancia 037. Amazing acceleration. Was able to get in front of the pack before the first corner in the first race. Try to win the first two races because the third one can be a pain in the ass. Tight 180 degree turns where it’s easy to get hung up between your team and the slower AI (while the faster AI takes the turns at unreal speeds).

Blame the quarry’s surface changes and the fact that none of the eligible cars comes with a stock tire that is able to cope. Thus, every car handles like a school bus at high speed out there. However, the RS2 is one of the few that has enough PI margin to address that with rally tires. You’ll need the rear race wing or the full roll cage for PI ballast as the they put the car a couple of points over eligibility, but either choice only further enhances a car that is already a quick, stable PG platform right out of the box. In tandem with acclimation, to the stage, I’ve been key to holding opposing teams to 4 or less points while scoring 2 or more when mine goes on offense in Flag Rush. What’s more, I generally have my way against opponents in Survival and King because I actually have grip to turn and/or stop.

They’ve changed the quarry surface?

Anyone else’s session crashing after playground games? Only happens on a win as well!

Edit: 2nd one actually completed after about 5 mins being froze on screen

I think this happens when people from the losing team quit just as an event is about to finish. It seems to take five minutes or so as you’ve seen, but it’s worth hanging on to get the win! Frustrating, though.

The Audi RS4 completely stock is a powerhouse for PGG. I had no trouble with it as opposed to the M5 which has 0 grip.
Most everyone I have seen is using the 2 Audis.
