Many Thanks! Any hints on FH6 perchance? :hugs: :+1:

Started last on Jungle and was in 1st by here…

My tune is shared.

That + the 5 stunts for the 20pts, all done comfortably with the Supervan 4 at 960PI.

this has just made me realise I’ve nearly / already missed the caddy lol

time to ‘‘lock in’’ and get it if i haven’t already missed it haha

aww man i missed it :frowning:

I spent a few days putting together some cars for this C class Vans & Utility trial and I got some pretty good ones to share. All tested at Jungle Descent and taken to another random street race.

The first car I tried was a RWD Holden Sandman … it became my rivals leaderboard car for Jungle Descent with a 2:28.365, #61 now. It, and most of the good RWD cars with street race builds, are kinda hairy, a lot of power on stock tires makes for controlling wheel spin a chore. So I’m just going to share some easier to drive, AWD options.

I cant find the paper I scribbled all my times down on but this list is in order of finishing time in Jungle Descent rivals:

1970 Chevy El Camino … SC: 347 562 804

The El Camino was just a hair behind my 2:28.365 Holden Sandman ghost. I did a #60 time at Horizon Callejera rivals with it. Front and rear aero. Stock tires.

1980 Suburu Brat GL … SC: 538 126 164

The Brat can do under 2:29.000. It has the stock look on stock tires. No aero.

1991 GMC Syclone … SC: 169 597 873

This Syclone has the stock gear box (and stock look except for rims, no aero, stock tires). The stock gear box has few gears and shifts slower when using the automatic transmission, so I tested at Jungle using automatic. It got low 2:30s. I got the #73 time on the Hilltop Descent leaderboard with it.

1993 GMC Typhoon … SC: 168 867 368

Like the Syclone, stock gear box, no aero, stock transmission, tested in auto. It got around 2:31. I got the #79 time on the Highland Climb leaderboard with it.

2011 Ford Transit SSV … SC: 128 232 197

This one also did around 2:31. Front and rear aero, stock tires. I got the #71 time on the Cañón Run leaderboard with it.

1965 Ford Transit … SC: 247 905 363

Stock look, no aero, drag tires. This one did 2:32s at Jungle. I got the #46 time on the Coast Run leaderboard with it. I see someone else just got the #45 time there in a Transit (edit: I see this other Transit time was set with vintage white wall tires, a more Coast Run specific build as drag tires are 1+ seconds faster on Jungle Descent. More speed.) … so Ill probably go back there and try to find more time, and I think I know where to look. I built one of these with vintage race tires first. Its not as fast as on drag tires but I loved the way it drove. It had gotten #59 on Coast Run before I tried drag tires. Bonus tune … SC: 454 379 407. It will probably do better on road circuits than the drag build.

Here’s a clip of the 2011 Ford Transit SSV doing that #71 on Cañón Run. Its not a perfect run but the sections that arent are do to driver error, not the car. Easy to drive.

Hi. So far, there isn’t any news or hints. I suspect we’ll see FH6 for the first time in the xbox 2025 showcase (my prediction).

Started out with the Vandura. That thing was a handful even on dry roads so I knew things weren’t going to go well when I saw the wet roads. Got 2 disappointing 2nd place finishes.

Switched to the Syclone. It went better but still not happy with my run.

The DeBerti seems to be hard trash - at least as a road build.
Powebuild detune on Rallies with the Funco engine at A800 has traction issues like every powerbuild but neither the aero grip or top speed of good powerbuilds.
Was about to rival the worst A800 time on the Marathon.

The January 22nd? ( e says hopefully :joy: :+1:)

Looking at em, I think I’d recommend TheGillesMuller 's Chevy El Camino tune over mine. Its lighter and probably is better overall for most street races. I went heavy and mine was good in the rain, but that extra weight probably hurts it at other street races than what we got in the trial. Mine was pretty specific for Jungle Descent.

The Slayer is still poor in Dirt as well, quickly took it on Cráteres Secos in RA…

Don’t read too much into the leaderboard spot, it makes it look better than it actually is, I only take a new exclusive into RA if it’s not good enough to set me a new time anywhere in Mexico.

Against my time that was up there previously, anyone who knows the extent of the DaVinci’s badness will know you’re looking at a poor car if it’s only beating that by 3 seconds with the same person driving.

If I can be bothered later I might try it on Gauntlet since 2 of the 100 cars I tested on there ages ago were the other 6 wheelers.
