Spring Season Festival Playlist (Series 19 - Midnights at Horizon)

Here are the details on this week’s events and rewards. Share tips along with your tuning setup codes, and provide feedback with the polls in post #2.

The 2022 Cadillac CT4-V is this week’s newest exclusive reward car.

SPRING | HOT SEASON

The season starts at 7:30am Pacific on April 20th and ends Thursday, April 27, 2023 2:30 PM
This is the fourth and closing season of Midnights at Horizon (Series 19).

PLAYLIST POINTS

Points are accumulated across all four seasons. Each event in the Festival Playlist has a number of points to earn noted in the bottom left corner of the event tile. Accumulate points with any combination of completed events to earn the first reward car, and continue earning points from remaining events to earn the second reward car. Cars noted as Seasonal Exclusive are not available in the Autoshow, so grab them while you can! But don’t worry if you miss them, these cars may come back again for future Festival Playlists.

SEASON EVENT DETAILS

Toggle the menu to show the rewards and restrictions for each event - if you complete the event in a car outside the restrictions or fail to meet the target, you won’t get the reward and points from completion. You must have unlocked the Hall of Fame with Accolade points to enter the Trial. Access to Rally Adventure events require defeating the three team champions. Access to Hot Wheels events requires the Hot Wheels Expansion DLC; users without the DLC will still be able to gold the season and unlock the “Min, Meet Max” Achievement without these event points.

Festival Playlist Tunes Apr 20-27 (Spring S19)

Surprise! I was able to get working on these seasonal tunes for you throttle jockeys early this week. With the extra time I think I cooked up something special for you maniacs. How about an S1 class Viper sneaking into A Class? Or a little rambunctious 74 Honda Civic C Class racer that is a blast to drive and feels faster than a C class car should. Of course there is a trial tune for you maniacs to do battle with as well. Thank you in advance for your downloads. As always any and all feedback is greatly appreciated!

This weeks trial had a lot more PI to play with. This tune has drag tires full aero and all the good go fast parts. Despite being PI limited this car is still pretty quick in its own right. The times below is what you should expect to see with this tune based on your skill level. This tune is capable of top 1% Rivals times despite being PI limited to A751. Remember with drag tires, get your braking done on your marks and preferably in a straight line. Slow in fast out! The tracks below are in this weeks trial and suggested lap time windows are posted.

I was trying to build drag tires no aero version, but that was terrible idea.
It was even worse, cause there was one person in my Trial lobby that I used to race “competitively” in FH4 and he just annihilated me.
At least I was using good livery

Poor AI and poor half a team, 2 idiots who’ve never heard of the word brake and AI that is only successful at being irritating, all but 1 of them were swerving all over the show on Dunas Blancas at the start causing me to fully rear end one despite me trying to overtake on the outside, then Pablo who broke away from everyone straight away completely blocked me about halfway through Gran Pantano as I was about to pass on the inside.

Used Mustuff’s tune which is on drags + rally suspension, surprisingly good in the corners but it’s top speed is low, after Pablo blocked me he started peeling away and I only ended up overtaking on the left hander just before where the Apex outpost is, good tune but having it’s momentum halted on these 2 tracks probably hurts it even more than it would do if the car was stock.

I ended up using drags & full aero on my Trial tune, along with sport weight reduction, v10 swap, race intake, race exhaust & race suspension. Tried stock & sport suspension first and just couldn’t get it to rotate how I wanted, so opted for race, despite it being seemingly wasted PI. SC is 106505063

If anyone’s wondering what’s required for the last part of the Weekly Forzathon you need to hit those SPECS speed traps. It won’t work with GATSO speedzones.
Also, if it says Street Race, you ought to use the purple Street Scene events. It’ll work every time.

(Just in case you’re wondering what those speed cameras are, they’re UK speed cameras, as the dev is from Britain)

Unfortunately the CT4-V is also classified as “Modern Muscle” instead of Super Saloon. Despite the fact that this car was made to compete with the best sedan’s or “Saloon’s”…. At least there is room in the PI to hopefully make a competitive car out of it unlike the CT-5.
