Okay, after trying few other options - drag tires + full aero looks like easiest option.
And as much as I enjoy doing Trial repeatedly (last week I probably have done 100+ runs), that one just sucks IMO. Probably won’t do it again.
PS. Is there any antiramming school that I can attend too? I’m terrible at dealing with it. It feels like I’m feather against hammer
I ran my test in rivals and against unbeatable drivatars. I was able to get clean laps which what do you know, makes for great lap times!
I actually think the nerfed drivatars make the human drivers worse. The drivatars are all over the place and most of your teammates have no race craft and can’t navigate traffic so it turns into a yard sale with crashed cars everywhere. If they would bump up the drivatars I think it would clean up the trail drastically.
@ziperrPL my trial tune has V10 swap, full aero, drags, race trans, no weight reduction, race suspension, race intake, sport TB, race exhaust, race displacement and flywheel. I couldn’t get it to handle without the race suspension.
I’m fine with that. Well, kind of, I get your point
But I was talking about blatant ramming. Like we was going 3 wide on final straight of 2nd race and other player just turned into me and pushed me into building. Followed by spammed “nice driving” to rub it in. Disgraceful
Now I appreciate even more my livery. This is fine
After four pretty bad trial races, I finally got a “decent” one in. I think there is a lot of people running drag tire tunes that shouldn’t be… Like you, I run the trial at least a few dozen times a week. I had a “teammate” turn left into me going into a right-hand turn. Was pushed off at the checkpoint in another race. Typically Thursdays have been the “cleanest” day to run the trial. I can only imagine how bad it will be over the weekend…
@Bravo437 I turned Forzalink off a long time ago! Everyone should do that!
I know we’re somewhat joking about it, but it truly is “disgraceful” as @ziperrPL describes & having to disable game features in an attempt to reduce the level of negative interaction from such unsportsmanlike conduct is just sad.
The majority of all other seasonal races have the option to complete in single player mode, so this should be no different or at very least the completion points should be more evenly distributed among all the events.
The poor stock brakes enable a very good full weight reduction build for the CT4-V.
It’s not as stable as the CT5-V (295 rear tires vs. 325) but a lot faster.
Managed a sub 8:20 at the Marathon which is powerbuild entry level done as a normal build - very good.
Have to definitely agree on this point. Going from west to east (downhill) seems optimal. I kept seeing people trying it uphill, but all my uphill times were way worse. Yes, you can bring a lot of speed in from the east, but that last corner kills you that direction. Instead I came in hot from the west, braked hard at that first turn, but then rapidly accelerated the rest of the way.
I got within 1mph with the F40, but the Mosler ended up doing it for me. I may have to give it a go in the Viper because @CashlessPlains8 still had a better speed than me. But then… that makes sense.
