Great timing for the Citroen DS, I’ve been re-watching Mentalist lately and the main character drives one.

Highly recommend the 595 with Saeenu’s tune for the Cult Cars SC, it’s just done #42 on Callejera for me and it isn’t a powerbuild.

The DS starts somewhere between 315 and 340PI since it’s between the '74 Celica and Santana in Horizon Promo when sorted by class.

D330 according to the Forza Wiki site.

I don’t recall messing with this car in FH4 but it should be interesting to see how the hydropneumatic suspension is simulated, if at all.

It was added very late in the lifecycle of Horizon 4 but if I remember correctly the stock suspension was just very soft & boaty.
Nothing special.

I know the speed, handling, etc. ratings don’t mean much and they’re balancing the car against other cult cars in FH5, but it’s interesting to see how much higher almost everything is in FH4 despite a significantly lower PI.

whew! That’s a record for sharecodes for me, I think. Konig was the featured sponsor this week, and I also knocked out Pirelli. If you dig the Elemental, be sure to check out the tune by @x_ShadowsBane_x when he drops it tomorrow. It’ll be particularly compatible with the livery because it has Konig wheels. Pretty cool when the livery and tunes match up, and a special occasion for me. (It’s just Tuesday for @PlageBLN and other folks that wear both the tuner and livery artist hats.)

First time I’ve bumped up against the save limit since they expanded the number of liveries/tunes we could have. Frustrating to be operating with a cap… and have no idea where you are in relation to it until you hit it.

Same suspension was used in other cars too, but I don’t think any are in the game.

Also Mercedes-Benz has similar suspension type called Active Body Control, again not sure if any of these are in.

This week’s car additions aren’t really speaking to me as far as design potential  Had some fun spending time on the designs for the Valkyrie & Fulvia last week but neither hit the recommended page so activity was minimal, with the AMR having the most DLs the last time I checked. I don’t have a huge following like some of the designers in the game, but wanted to again say thank you to anyone who does follow me & checks out my work as it’s sincerely appreciated & for me, the only true “reward” for the time invested.

To that point, I came across an interesting stat the other day with my actual XBOX FH5 game time vs time driving in game: it was pretty much a 70/30 split (if I’m interpreting it correctly), with 70% being mostly design work & 30% actually in cars driving. Seems about right considering I have close to 500 shared designs currently :man_facepalming:t2: As such, I have existing designs for the majority of cars in the playlist for anyone interested in checking them out on my CH or if you just feel like having a browse, there’s quite a few to look at
Anyway, sorry to drift…thanks all.

The ID-4 and Citroen are great additions to the game for me. I am very much looking forward to earning and driving both of these!

Trial race 2 is tierra próspera circuit.
Won by 50 points, so don’t know the third. Obviously handling focused is key.

You’ll catch a sneak peek at one of next week’s sponsors, Summit Racing Equipment. Right now it’s the mono-color that I’m still developing. Once I’ve nailed it down I’ll do a red/white/blue version as well.

The 3 PGG are one round each. I think I prefer it this way, honestly, even though you may end up with one more round.
