SUMMER | WET SEASON

The season starts at 7:30am Pacific on September 15th and closes Thursday, September 22, 2022 2:30 PM
This is the first season of Horizon Road Trip (Series 12).

PLAYLIST POINTS

SERIES 12: HORIZON ROAD TRIP

Series total: 260 Points
Points are accumulated across all four seasons. Each event in the Festival Playlist has a number of points to earn noted in the bottom left corner of the event tile. Accumulate points with any combination of completed events to earn the first reward car, and continue earning points from remaining events to earn the second reward car. Cars noted as Exclusive are not available in the Autoshow, so grab them while you can! But don’t worry if you miss them, these cars may come back again for future Festival Playlists.

Series Reward: 2021 Audi RS e-tron GT (new seasonal Exclusive car) (80 points)
Series Reward: 2021 McLaren 765LT (seasonal Exclusive) (160 points)

Season Total: 65 points
Accumulate points with any combination of completed events this season to earn the first reward car, and continue earning points from remaining events to earn the second reward car.

Season Reward: 1991 Bentley Turbo R (new Seasonal Exclusive car) (20 points)
Season Reward: 2015 MG MG3 (new Seasonal Exclusive car) (40 points)

FORZATHON EVENTS

Not only do completing these events earn seasonal points, they also earn Forzathon Points which can be used in the Forzathon Shop.

#Forzathon Weekly Challenge: Arblast (5 pts)
These four challenges must be completed in sequence for completion.

• Chapter 2: Right on target | Earn a total of 12 stars from Speed Traps in the X-Bow R
• Chapter 3: Carbon Tub | Earn 5 Air Skills in the 2013 KTM X-Bow R

Access to these events requires the Hot Wheels Expansion DLC. Users without the DLC will still be able to gold the season and unlock the “Min, Meet Max” Achievement without these event points.

The total points from Monthly events are divided by four when applied to individual seasons. Completing both events will apply 1 point for EV + 1 point for Monthly Rivals = 2 points applied to Summer.

I’ll pass this along - please be sure to reboot and confirm if that does anything to fix it, and also please submit your tickets to Forza Support so they can see the number of players affected.

I guess that it is a general bug that affects all PC player, I have tried on three different PC with the same bug on all, on xbox series x and on xbox s no problem

1M as reliable as always in any A-class Super Saloons event, easy win (I mean when isn’t it anymore…)

Although on Lookout someone on my team in an E63 somehow managed to go from being in 2nd after I passed them around halfway through the first lap to so far behind that I’d have lapped them if it had been a 4 lap race, all 5 of them also failed to beat a drivatar on Chihuahua despite 4 being in A800 cars along with the afore-mentioned team member.

Sour ending to a good nostalgia trip, High Speed Ring was my first ever experience of a racing game around 20 years ago as a kid in the first GT.

Yep, same delay for me - just glad it eventually continued, I was this >< close to just quitting out of the game.

Also getting the missing icon/picture issue too - on PC/Windows 10.

I have submitted a ticket, and look forward to it being folded like an origami swan, and thrown in the bin…

With the cars missing I am concerned that a bug will restart all the seasonal events from scratch.

I didn’t even check what the clue was. I did my short one lap custom event for the KTM road race win and afterward it showed completed, without the chest appearing. Same bug as two weeks before.

How about you DO follow the clue (and don’t use anything custom)? Try that and if it doesn’t appear then, tell us again.

DEV TROUBLESHOOTING TIP: Avoid using an EventLab event to trigger the Treasure Hunt, as this is suspected for bugging the Treasure Hunt event. The team continues to try to debug Treasure chest issues, but for now please use normal events to start the challenge.

If you have a bugged Treasure Hunt, please submit a ticket at Forza Support and include in your details if you used an EventLab event (and which event you used).
