Thankfully, the treasure hunt worked even though the car you seem to be required to use is also the car of the weekly challenge. (Or perhaps you can use the burnt orange Beetle as well.) I’d upgraded it (although the first event is to race the Beetle – stock) and then did a cross country race after leaving my home.

Just unlocked the 2021 RS7, and the engine barely makes any noise. Other cars in the game are fine so I think it is just isolated to that. Does anyone else have this issue, and if so does anyone know how to fix it? Or do we have to wait for an official bugfix?

Well, that was long time since I had to do 3 races in Trial. And I’m pretty sure that is first time where I had to do 3 races in 3 Trials in a row.
If someone would ask me about what parts to use in building car for that Trial (sorted by importance): 1. offroad tires, 2. power, 3. anything else.

OK I quit this “great” (sarcasm) game. Every new festival list makes less fun than the one before.
5 Races Cross Country for a championschip - no chance to win at all in a tuned Trail Cat. The leader is so much in the lead you can’t catch up. Thanks I quit - for me tats it with forza.

same here, pc version, also broken new cars icons in menus. painting the car fix it tho

Nobody cares, but I’ll say it anyway: Not doing any PR stunts this week.

PR Stunts were quite OK - the Juggernaut was easy with the Hoonigan RS200.
But the cross country championchip - no chance at all. I cant win those races. No matter what I try.

wanna do co-op?

People struggling with cross country must be experiencing too much delay (input lag) from their controller. You have to turn well ahead of a turn on mud just to slide into the checkpoints, but any delay from your controller, and it will be difficult to judge. TV’s have delay, PC’s have delay, XBox Series X needs 60fps so lower the details.

Without too much delay you can win these races.

I almost had to too  Just won the Trial by a very thin margin of 50 points in the second race.

But my rule of thumb is that I simply quit and find another lobby when me or another teammate got the first two places in the first race, but still loses.

Also agree to your last statement. Offroad tires and power are KEYS.

Trial went easy had good team with me, treasure hunt worked aswell so bonus used same car as the weekly challenge about to do event lab one never really enjoy them, what car has anyone used for the speed zone

Anyone else (I’m on PC/Win10) got a rather, er, odd looking Enzo on their shopfront?

I have an actual Enzo :joy:!

I only have a Mini Countryman for the trial, which I doubt is very good. Let’s see how it goes.

Strong team. Two teammates in Macans beat me but we were well clear of the AI. Mini wasn’t great in the wet.

Countryman is probably way too light and powerless. The new Defender did an awesome job.

The e-tron is better than expected but still not good. I think the car devs realized how awful EV engines are rated and that this disadvantage kills their performance. Thus, they just remove the drag of the cars to compensate. The e-tron runs 390 km/h stock - it never would irl.

Does not help much for the overall performance. Best A800 road EV though.

I found non of this enjoyable. Lol
