Here are the details on this week’s events and rewards. Share tips along with your tuning setup codes!

SPRING | HOT SEASON

The season starts at 7:30am Pacific on April 21st and closes Thursday, April 28, 2022 2:30 PM
This is the fourth and closing season of Series 6.

SERIES PROGRESS

SERIES 6: HORIZON CUSTOMS

Series total: 230 Points
Points are accumulated across all four seasons. Each event in the Festival Playlist has a number of points to earn noted in the bottom left corner of the event tile. Accumulate points with any combination of completed events to earn the first reward car, and continue earning points from remaining events to earn the second reward car. Cars noted as Exclusive are not available in the Autoshow, so grab them while you can! But don’t worry if you miss them, these cars may come back again for future Festival Playlists.

Reward: 2005 Honda NSX-R GT (Exclusive car) (80 points)
Reward: 1966 Ford #2 GT40 MkII (Autoshow value 11,000,000) (160 points)

Accumulate points with any combination of completed events this season to earn the first reward car, and continue earning points from remaining events to earn the second reward car.

FORZATHON EVENTS

Not only do completing these events earn seasonal points, they also earn Forzathon Points which can be used in the Forzathon Shop.

#Forzathon Weekly Challenge: Camp Out (5 pts)
These four challenges must be completed in sequence for completion.

  • Chapter 1: Hip, Hip, Hooray! | Own and drive the 1963 Volkswagen Type 2 De Luxe
  • Chapter 2: Through the Looking Glass | Take a photo of your 1963 VW
  • Chapter 3: Wheels on the Bus | Complete an EventLab in your 1963 VW
  • Chapter 4: Go Round and Round | Upgrade your 1963 VW and win one B Class Cross Country event.

Each day a new challenge opens at 7:30am Pacific.

  • Taking Stock | Spend 50,000 credits on upgrades
  • American Eagle | Paint the wing of any American vehicle
  • Seven Wonders | Complete a Super7
  • Speed of Light | Earn 9 Stars at Speed Traps in any vehicle
  • Dodgeball | Play an Event Blueprint in any Dodge vehicle
  • Car Meet | Take a picture of the Horizon Tour Mural in the Horizon Festival Mexico
  • Wheely Nice | Paint your vehicle’s rims

WHY DO WE HAVE TO KEEP SPENDING MONEY ON UPGRADES TO EARN FP???

That way the Treasure Hunt is useless. Yes I know everything is optional. But you make so little money already and they keep making you spend money on upgrades. This has already been done in the previous seasons!

What a crappy first go at the Trial. The guy with the highest level came with a stock Subaru and was last in all three races. Another guy did fairly well in the first race but missed a checkpoint in 2 and three, dropping all the way to the bottom, just above the other dude. He was in second place at the time, passing me blocking the AI. And that’s when I left. Waste of time.

New try, new team. We won in two races, even with a dead weight in last place.

And all of it for a pink hoodie. Gonna wear it at some point, though.

Not sure how the treasure hunt cleared for me. A skill song started just after I beat the weekly Speed Trap and I was jumping around the sand dunes near the trap. Was still in the Nomad, but I already had it at A800 when the week started. Is the “tunes” in the clue a reference to your car being upgraded or a skill song?

Trial was odd today, 1st race we finished top 5 with the usual straggler.

2nd race the AI shot off and we all struggled on that one

3rd race was same as first.

For Treasure Hunt >> you need to win any Road Racing Sprint event (point-to-point not circuit) using 1992 Ford Escort RS Cosworth tuned away from standard.

** for me I’ve tuned 1992 Ford Escort RS Cosworth to A800 Class and win Road Racing Sprint event after that the message of Treasure Hunt message pop up.

Odd, I used a tuned mclaren and it worked fine.

just to clarify,
for the third step of the weekly you need to complete an event lab with a stock VW not tuned.

Well I guess it had to happen again eventually. Treasure Hunt looks royally bugged for me. Took way too many tries to get it to recognize I was in a Tuned car and Won a Road Race Sprint. But it finally popped the message that I’d discovered the Treasure Chest. Yay ! Only… nope. No red circle on the map, no chest in sight when I went there and in fact not completed in the playlist. And now it won’t complete again after more wins in a tuned car. Thanks game. Good going.

Maybe restarting will do something, like convince me how stupid I am for sticking with this game. No. Probably not.

I did it in a tuned Escort Cosworth because it was in the thumbnail of the challenge. It worked right away for me after winning a road sprint race. The treasure chest was there too.

Yeah, I appreciate the suggestion and offer of help but…

The Cosworth is not a requirement. Works for others not in it.

Bugs are buggy because it works for some, like yourself, and others, but not everyone.

Note the particular fact that for me, it DID pop the notice that I COMPLETED it and FOUND the chest. BUT it did NOT actually complete the challenge in the playlist, did NOT provide the red circle, and did NOT actually spawn the chest in the location.

For me it cleared without doing a race, but it is marked as completed in my playlist and my map shows the grayed out chest icon, though I hadn’t been to the SE part of the map yet today. Don’t know if I got the 100 FP.
