My advice? Buy the hard copy. Wouldn’t that solve everybody’s problem?
Ahhhh, but you want that junkyard – I mean Hoonigan – pack in FM7, and it can only be had digitally. That’s a shame.
I prefer my games digital 
I don´t like to switch the disc always.
But seems that even Germany has faster internet than some US areas.
I´m sure the preload will be avaible around 22th. of september and that
is still 7 days.
And my dl-speed is about 1,4 MB / sec so I´m chilled anyway.
Not an option if you want to play on the PC though is it

Oh no hard copy for PC? Didn’t realize that. Too bad.
PC owners get Digital Only but with the “advantage” It’s a Play Anywhere Title - so you can also install on the consoles as well…

For the record, I have spoken with Customer Service on Amazon.com. Unlike Amazon.co.uk, they tell me the codes will all be released on the 29th of September, with no preload period.
That just looks like a classic case of customer support not having any idea what you’re asking about to me.
I have no definitive proof, but I strongly imagine that US customers will receive a code to preload on the 24th just the same as UK customers.

I still have my placeholder as of September 9th, anyone have preload for Xbox yet?
No preload in Sweden as of yet.
I’ve pre-ordered the Ultimate edition, and so far the game only takes up 138.3MB on my console hard drive (core game 108.1MB, Day One car pack 10MB, Hoonigan car pack 10MB, and VIP 10MB).
I don’t think we will see anything until after the demo release at the earliest…
Codes for Amazon are going out now. I got and successfully redeemed mine tonight though it’s just a 100MB placeholder not a preload.

Yep, I got mine from Amazon this morning but I haven’t redeemed it yet, I’ll do that tonight. Hopefully it will give me access to the FH3 Hoonigan pack without any hassle.
I can’t see any real pre-loading being done until the game has gone gold and I don’t think that’s been announced yet, has it?
Thanks for the heads up! I’ve just “installed” all the placeholder files, now I have to wait… I was a bit scared that the amazon code wouldn’t work because I’m from Argentina, and maybe there was some sort of region lock (I know codes shouldn’t be, but still). Now that everything worked as it was supposed (At least for now) I’m a bit more relieved

Ended up being only 2 days for nba 2k18
I’m hoping it will be longer than 2-3 days and that whenever it comes out that the servers can cope and dish it out at a reasonable rate…
I can’t see “ultimate pre-order” customers being too happy if we lose out on early access “play” time…

I’m sure that when fm6 the preload was about a week before ultimate release…but on release there was an issue that caused the whole game to have to be redownloaded again which wasn’t fun..would be worse for fm7 if it’s 100gb to be redownloaded
I have received my code from Amazon as well. Placeholder files are all installed on my PC and Xbox One.
And the rest if your going to have it on PC and console…
