The download speeds have been rubbish for the previous Windows store games I have bought. I expect even if you have good fibre like I do you’ll be lucky to get more than a couple megabytes a second. I’ll just set it off soon as you can pre load and leave my PC on all day, low power mode
If it’s really gonna be on the 1st then that’s great. I won’t miss early access because of my internet, I’ll have all of those weeks!

The pre-load window is tomorrow right? Or has that changed to a different date now. I think they base it off of EST times, I just checked and I don’t have anything to download besides the things I downloaded about a month ago.
Nothing yet but it’s still early US time…
X Box One - Are the background downloads automatically paused when you shut the console and if they are do they restart properly when the console is started up again?
I don’t know where these rumors get started. The Amazon listing pages show nothing about a preload window. When I made my digital order it said that they will charge my card when the game becomes available for download and I see nothing yet.

I checked on the Amazon website earlier and it said codes would be sent out starting today… It doesn’t say that downloads will start today only that the game (ultimate edition) can’t be played until 29/09/17
I bought from the Microsoft store so all the placeholders have already downloaded on both the PC and Console…

Sounds like the UK Amazon is giving a better deal. There’s no preload language on the US site. I’m assuming that unless Gone Gold happens, there will not be a preload window for US buyers on Amazon.

I suspect they will only get the same placeholder install that Microsoft Store Pre-orders have had for the last few weeks rather than the more substantial download that some of us are hoping for - but it should “finally” give them access to the Hoonigan DLC for FH3…
It’s strange because the US and Canadian Amazon sites have no mention of a preload. On the UK site there is no preload language for the Standard edition. On the Ultimate, the preload language is there but the game is unavailable for purchase. So pretty much no preload unless you live in Germany, France, or maybe UK.
Now after some checking. Consistency is NOT Amazon’s strongpoint!
US: All editions available - no preload
Canada: All editions available - no preload
UK: All editions available - preload maybe for Ultimate but not available when I checked
Germany: All editions available - preload is there
France: All editions available - preload is there
Mexico: Standard edition physical only - releases December 31!
Italy: Standard and Ultimate - physical only?
Spain: Standard physical only
Japan: All editions available - no preload

So… I spoke to Amazon gaming support and they told me codes would be sent out up to 2 days in advance of release. If UK is allowed a month to preload that is very odd.

Until I hear or see an official announcement about any pre-load window from T10 … I don’t trust any pre-load info from any retailers’ websites.

Can’t see anything happening until at least the “Gone Gold” announcement if there is going to be one…
I won’t be leaving the console and PC on 24/7 until there is something “concrete” from the devs…

Judging from FH3’s release on PC I would expect FM7 to have a preload as well. Based on preload for FM6 and FH3 being available one week prior to standard edition launch I would expect preloads for FM7 to start on the 25th.
Amazon preloads should begin sometime around the 27th for ultimate users if support is accurate. Not sure about Microsoft. From what I can tell only Microsoft orders receive early access to the Hoonigan FH3 pack. It’s existence for preorders through other outlets is undetermined.
