Very cool race. I had issues with being disconnected from the server my first 3 attempts. The last attempt I did my usual and hung back to start last for there really is no reason to try and win a race in turn 1. I simply followed everyone around the track until they slid off it or they took someone out because they don’t know how to use the break. Not long after that I was in front, and I finally could lay the hammer down. basically spent the whole race hoping to not get disconnected again. Lapped everyone a few times. It was much fun. Glad I ran practice laps before the race, it is one tough course to get to know
Did u find that u were dealing with a really glitchy connection at all?
Usually if I have a glitchy connection I see the message weak connection. But these times I just a black screen that had forza logo and I would be at the home screen for multiplier with a message saying I lost connection to the server
2.4 Hour of Nurburgring complete. I did 323 miles or 20.1875 laps of the Nurburgring Behemoth track. I finished 1st, 3 miles ahead of 2nd place.

dayem i did 324 miles and came 2nd. Is there anything extra for coming 1st? As even gold medal fr 2nd didnt get anything extra than the achievment/badge/title for doing 250 miles.
I had weak connection warning all race but it completed ok.
Once again I was very lucky with a clean racing lobby.

I too am happy that I did numerous practice laps because I was actually going to run it with the brake line ON, but I forgot to turn it on.
SatNiteEduardo, too bad we weren’t running in the same room because we just about tied.
Had a great race as well. Everyone raced clean, ten in our lobby. I was able to take the win with 329 miles. Second place was at 307 miles!
336 for me in the Ferrari 333SP, got boring with an hour to go, I could feel myself dozing off !! I too got the weak connection at the start of the race but it soon went away
Might skip this one also looking forward to next month online endurance race at Silverstone.

Awesome challenge. The weak connection messagefor three quarters of the race and rubberbanding issues with 10 minutes to go got me spooked, but i made it too. Congrats to all!!!
What cars are the most competitive? I remember when I raced at Le Mans my R18 was being destroyed on all the straights
The Mazda 787b rocks. I was racing an Audi R18 and getting passed easily by a pair of Mazdas.
I had a whole lot of fun; albeit, the lead 787 was on a warpath. I, however, in my Audi R18 came in second with 3 completers behind me and three others who had quit. One of the three to abort was a very, very laggy and was bouncing all about the GP course until leaving the lobby. Apart from that, smooth sailing for 330 miles and not a “weak connection” in sight.
I used an R18 on purpose so I wouldn’t have to deal with battling the Mazdas in front. I pretty much took it easy and did about 325 miles. I finished fourth.

I finished with 299 miles with a Le Mans tuned #2 Audi R8 lol. I forgot to change the tune before hand and didn’t feel like backing out, changing the tune, and then trying to find another lobby once I realized so I just dealt with it.
Will probably look at doing this tonight or tomorrow. I always like being competitive and going for the win, but I think I’ll drive the R18 so I can get the German car achievement. Just a shame that I’m already level 25 for Audi (wish I could have driven an R class BMW!).
