Yes, if you eat enough onions there will be.
A phrase I’ve always loved is to fill your tank with dead dinosaurs - at work, it’s how some of us differentiate between our older pool cars (diesel and petrol) and the new ones (electric).
I play a lot of Horizon 2 on simulation, if ran of fuel your car will not shut (like in FM5 & 6) so, gas stations should be added as pit stop for refueling and change the tires.
What do you guys think?
Daahhh, a huge; NO
Plus I’m not quite sure wha
T you mean by “if rac of fuel car will not shut (like in FM5 &FM6)”
my experience of bot games is, that when you don’t take a pitstop when YOU see that your car is running low, you eventually stutter to a grinding halt. You might just creep home, but I’ve ended up stopping on the grass and seeing all the other cars go by.
So, what did I do. Learnt my lesson and make sure I put fuel in any car I drive. It’s MY FAULT if the car runs out of fuel, not Turn 10s,not is it their job to make sure o can get fuel on every corner.
It’s a racing game, not a shopping simulator.
OZ.
no
No, next question
I don’t mind tires and gas refill, in some racing games I have those turned on for pit stops during races. I forget but some Test Drive games has that too.
wow posted on wrong account… oh well whatever.
I’d quite like fuel consumption and stuff like that but honestly I’d be suprised if it was implemented.
I’m not sure it would work in Horizon, in motorsport you know you have a chance to refuel every couple of miles. The Horizon map isn’t big enough so I think you would find yourself driving down the same routes to a limited amount of filling stations, rather than going the way you want. Chopping and changing the car you’re driving and entering events means you are unlikely to run out of fuel in the first place.
They probably won’t have worrying about gassing up as part of the game, but it would be a neat idea to be able to pull into service stations as an option to get gas or do repairs. Not sure why Oz had such an angry and inflammatory response, but the OP’s question was blatantly simple and obvious to anyone with an IQ above 20. Moderators need to watch these comments more. If you’re having a bad day leave it at home instead of taking it out on people asking a very obvious question.
Mmmmm… Gas Simulation… 1000hp Cars Use Massive Amounts of Gas So It Might Be A Little Annoying… But Fun ![]()
It would be cool feature, but only if implemented in the way we shouldn’t have to be at gas station every ten minutes. I’d say realistic fuel consumption simulation would be cool. If you can drive 650 km with one fill up in reality you could do the same in the game.
Im a science guy so I think it would be cool to burn through fuel in Horizon world. But I dont think there will be gas consumption in the game. The gas stations will be cool areas to take photos.
But it would be a cool DLC. Speaking of DLC’s. The new Horizon world is perfectly diverse, how can you top this one. Forza could really give us a bunch of DLC’s in the next 4 years while making Horizon 4 on the next consoles. One of those DLC’s I think it would be cool to add a HWY Patrol DLC, not stupid Need 4 Speed cops, but 1 HWY patrol that you can outrun or you can be the HWY patrol writing tickets to Driveatars. Just be something new to do when your board of the same old same old.
With regards to the "next consoleS… Don’t expect anything past the next item MS put out, namely Project Scorpio… Due to comments made by the powers to be at MS ashamed, Scorpio will see the end of console gaming - as we know it…!.
I’m doing some digging to unearth more, then right a little article on it and pop it up here. …
This has been coming for a few years now,and has been on MS’s radar for over a decade.
OZ
Fully modified American muscle car = very very very low gas mileage lol.
(Re: gas vs. Petrol and the seriousness of the discussion on page one)
Pull my finger… ![]()
(I haven’t been on the forums for years and this is what I come back to… keep it classy yall!)
LOL!!
Gas vs. Petrol
In context of the automotive discussions, “gas” is short for gasoline; the common fuel for the vast majority of automobiles on the road. Petrol is a word for gasoline most often used in and around the U.K., and it was taken from the word “Petroleum” which is what conventional motor oils, gasoline, kerosene and diesel fuel are made from.
My vote is for “Gas”, because I think it’s reasonable to have expectations to be aware of the context of a discussion. So when you ask for gas and they say “pull my finger” you respond by giving them kerosene when they ask for petrol.
I don’t think there is. I saw in another thread explaining the benefits of turning assists off located near the top of page 1 and in it ManteoMax showed a screenshot of the Difficulty/Assists menu, and in it I saw “Damage/Tire Wear” but no mention of fuel. Pardon me for not knowing how to do links.
There will be GAS when the driver farts
As I prefer to play games pretty much as a simulator, if that’s even half feasible on the games side, and with forza games it has been so far the case.
I ran in to small issue when trying out the demo.
I had Damage & Tire wear on simulation while I was exploring the map, drifting around and waiting that my tires go pop due burnouts and drifting.
later on the engine seemed to sputter, and soon I was pretty much stranded, engine completely shut down, which might be due excessive damage as I had couple bumps on the way… but I had only 21% of engine damage. therefore the only thing that it might have been is running out of fuel.
Switching damage to none, I got the engine running again, but it continued sputtering giving often only 28hp.
Now is fuel a thing in horizon 3?
Where can I find a way to monitor my fuel load (is there a fuel gauge somewhere)
