Pretty Simple Question, Among many, but why would a racing game not have steering wheel support? Yes it has some, but you would think that a game like this would have steering wheel support, out of box, not released Broken, or missing some major wheel support, or mickey moused to work.
Paid $100 and got no extra content.
My Wheel is not even recognized in game to make a custom profile.
What are you guys thinking?
Why is nobody addressing these issues?
Who tested this game before release?
Have you guys even tried other racing games?
Why release the game during the weekend? [Expecting this excuse come Monday, Sorry for the inconvenience but due to the weekend our support team was not in office]
The game looks great I give you that, but that is not all needed to make a game great.
You do realize Forza is struggling to compete, and this is a perfect example why.
This could of been an amazing release. Please hire a staff that cares about the customers. You really need to answer some of the hundred of people who spend 100+ on a broken product. What you should be doing is finding a way to compensate for the trouble.
they’re aware about VIP issue which will be fixing all weekend and then monday they will release statement that there will be no day 1 patch and PC version issues will be resolved in upcoming month
If you had bothered to check their twitter you’d know they’re working on fixing all these problems as we speak. And struggling to compete? Compete with what, exactly? There are currently only two PC racing games that kinda do what FH3 does - The new NFS and The Crew. The NFS was crap, it doesn’t compete with ANYTHING, and The Crew is both more arcade-y and focuses more on racing than on customization, and thus caters to a different kind of audience.
Just be thankful we have at least something to use for now. Can you imagine if they’d delayed release? People like the OP would be apoplectic with rage.
Exactly, they can’t win, it’s the better of two bad situations for them, although I wouldn’t agree with the crappy and vastly overused ‘First World’ problems line.
A delay would have caused much more fuss and outrage than a bugged release, even more so if the X1 version still came out on time. Whilst I understand that people are frustrated with the stutters (me included) and even more so with the whole VIP mess, these problems will get fixed. This isn’t something new with video games, especially PC games, and whilst it’s certainly not a good thing, it is to be expected these days.
And people need to keep in mind that this is their first PC release. Not using that as an excuse but this is new territory for them. Give them time to sort it out.
I hate clichéd phrases as much as the next person, but sometimes it really is appropriate - it isn’t the end of the world, at all. At the end of the day we’re fortunate enough to afford both the ultimate edition and everything else needed to play - it is frustrating, but the whining tone of the OP justifies the use of ‘first world problems’ in my book. I’m sorry, but some people need some perspective. People lose their temper over the most minor issues - it’s pathetic.
The rest of what you say, I totally agree with. It will get sorted soon enough. Like you say, it’s to be expected these days - lets not forget, games are more complex than ever before, especially when you consider that the game is cross platform.
I don’t use a wheel but if you paid $100 You have extra cars. Its a bitch to get them all but you have them. Plus games get realeased on Tues. Yet your playing now!
Go to cars in menu and hit dL content and get your cars!
Please use the appropriate Support forum to report your issues. The developers are aware of DLC content and wheel support issues etc and are working on it now.
