It took me awhile but im finally level 25 with subaru. Being a subaru owner, getting the badge was a big part of the game for me. And to finally go and put it on and relize nothings there pisses me off. Been playing this game as a top 3 in games for me, since the 2nd, even the horizons. I bought all dlc, seasons passes, vip, all preordered bonuses day 1, and even those stupid porshe packs… And have never complained (even though i hate most the dlc cars you guys give us, oh great another bmw, awsome more ferrari’s, even better a car that doesnt existsarcasm). But now i feel cheated. All that work and i cant even get a badge. Yet we can get the chryslus rocket. So whats the prolem here? Is it me? Is it the game? If anyone could answer this, or even better a turn 10 person answer. That would be great
I don’t have the game up, but I think if you go to the very right right before the Porsche dlc, there should be a thing in there under the photo and video booth, called “badges,” then look under affinity and the car manufacturers, if your saying it’s not in there, I can’t help you
I have had this issue as well where the badge doesn’t show up when you hit level 25 affinity, just not with Subaru. The workaround I have found is to just set up a one lap race in free play with the brand you’re working on, the xp gain should trigger the badge to show up, if it doesn’t just restart the race, I had to do that a few times, hope that helps. I wouldn’t see it as an inconvenience seeing as you were gonna keep driving with a brand you love, but it is something that Turn 10 could look into.
What does having owned the game since FM2 and all of the downloadable content have to do with the affinity issue? Confused.

Damn glitches
This is a known issue that was patched months ago.
What happened is in some cases the XP you gained in a SHOWCASE event would count towards the wrong manufacturer (despite the counter saying it was counting towards the right one). The ONLY fix is to continue using the manufacturer until that imbalance is fixed.
The patch was not able to go back and fix this so the counts remain out and will only be fixed through continue use of that manufacturer.
That doesn’t explain why the terradyne badge isn’t unlocking for me
The primary cause of the miscount was the showcases, however there were plenty of other miscalculations in assigning the xp to the correct manufacturer. The solution is still the same, run some free play races and it should eventually pop the badge.
