Last night I noticed not all badges are unlocking when I reach max manufacturer affinity. I reached max affinity for Ford, Bentley, Jaguar and SRT but only got the badges for SRT and Ford. I still got all the crew chief mod cards. Tonight the same thing happened when I reached max affinity with Nissan, the mod card unlocked but not the badge. I tried a full reboot as described in another post in this forum, after that the only badge unlocking was the Jaguar one and only after doing another race with a Jaguar. Bentley and Nissan still won’t unlock though, it doesn’t matter how many races I’m doing with them
I’m seeing more posts telling badges won’t unlock. I thought this issue was resolved in the november content update? Maybe the Porsche expansion brought it back, or maybe I have bad luck?
Is there something I can do to unlock these badges? I know it’s a relatively small issue but I like all the unlocked badges
Badge XP for some cars used in showcases is counted against the wrong manufacturer. If you keep using them, they will unlock eventually. The flipside is that you’ll find some other badges will unlock BEFORE you hit level 25.
I got max affinity for terradyne but just using it in freeplay and the badge and mod card didn’t unlock so I don’t think that’s the problem for me at least
Ah, that explains why another badge unlocked while I had only level 17 affinity. I did 2 showcases (endurance races) with the Bentley Continental GT, so I guess I have some racing to do. Is there any way of knowing to what manufacturer the xp went or is it just race till it pops?
It isn’t displayed anywhere. I seem to recall that the bug meant that the XP went to the first car displayed in the given showcase event, but I can’t remember for sure.
